Fantastic safari experience with a fantastic tour operator!
Prior to visiting Kenya for safari, I had been corresponding with Chris since early 2020, but had to put plans on hold due to the pandemic. When it seemed safe to travel again, we picked up where we left off. I truly appreciate how flexible and patient Chris was during the entire process. He was always available to discuss various options and responded quickly to any inquiry I had. He worked to create a lovely safari experience tailored to my wants and needs.
I was a solo traveler and was lucky to have Surat as my guide. Surat was professional, kind, and courteous, and I always felt safe and cared for. He has so much love for and knowledge about the animals, and I learned so much during the safari. He also has a very keen eye and I am almost certain he could spot a needle in a haystack from 100 meters away as he has an uncanny ability for spotting wildlife.
All in all, I am blessed to have found Sunup Adventures. There are many companies to choose from but this one is truly the best.

It was a wonderful 10 day safari: landscapes, animals and shared experience of our guide Surat.
We went to Kenya with SunUp Adventures. We do not know Kenya or even the Safaris. It was a wonderful stay, the course well organized and the discoveries just magnificent. Thanks to Surat for taking us to all these magical places. This trip will remain one of the most beautiful of our lives.

Professional, friendly, on time
Took a trip with Josh this February. Excellent driver and guide. Very clean and comfortable landcruiser. Seen a lot of unique animals. Hotels were also pretty good. Recommend this place (sunup)

Best tour company out there!
My experience with SunUp was amazing! First of, Chris was great with communicating to us and organising the trip. And then our guide Johnny was perfect with the tour and made sure we got to see each and every important animal in the Mara. Overall an unbelievable experience and I highly recommend SunUp adventures!!

Very professional and responsive company
Our driver Josh was well seasoned and knew all the parks we went to very well. It rained a lot which isn’t great for wildlife sightings and he still managed get us super close to a lion on our second day so I could get some amazing pictures!

Exceeded expectations
Our 4 Day Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara Safari private safari by SunUP Adventures was simply amazing. The communication with Chris was prompt and clear from the very beginning . There were some minor changes to the plan because of strong rains few days before our arrival but we were informed about them in advance and everything was communicated professionally. The safari itself was just simply amazing, we had a time of our lives. Besides that Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru are true nature marvels our guide and driver Johny was perfect in means of knowledge and trip organization. BIG thanks to SunUP Adventures.

Prompt, friendly, informative and fun
We booked a tour at extremely short notice, the booking was handled in a friendly but profession manner. Chris and Robin arrived at the agreed time, and then with little fuss, off we went! Robin was an excellent guide, answering all our questions patiently and pointing out stuff of interest on the journey to Amboseli. Once there, his knowledge of flora and fauna was exceptional, and we managed, in just two Safari drives, to see pretty much all we wanted, including a cheetah and most impressively, a pride of lions with 8 cubs that passed within spitting distance of our vehicle, truly amazing. An excellent tour, fantastic guide, and one I would fully recommend to anyone. I certainly will be going back to them next time I am in Kenya.
