Great friendly service!
5/5

We reached out to Lovely Safari when we decided to visit Tanzania. We told them what we were interested in, what our travel & hiking experience was, and the time frame we had for travel. They provided a suggested itinerary with cost and we adjusted it to fit our needs. Communication via email was easy, even with the time difference. Wire transferring the fees was a little confusing, but not the fault of Lovely Safari. We used Wise to pay the balance.

We communicated with Jesca primarily leading up to our trip, and then met Joseph at the airport. We didn't realize that he would be staying with us for the duration of our stay in Tanzania. We got along with him well, so it was a pleasant surprise! We experienced a few things like that which may have been lost in translation or different styles of communication...but everything worked out lovely.

Joseph set us up with our guides for Kilimanjaro, and even ended up hiking to the summit with us for his first time! We ended up being a little family exploring the country together, and we ended up nicknaming him Broseph, because he really did become our little brother! Joseph coordinated all of our travel, food, lodging, etc. We literally didn't have to do a thing or think about anything except enjoying our trip.

After hiking Kilimanjaro, he became our safari driver and guide, and this is where he really thrived! He is an excellent driver and is very knowledgeable about the national parks and the animals. He has great eyes for spotting the wildlife and he was able to find us every animal we could have hoped for! He then joined us for our flight to Zanzibar, where he connected us (and joined us!) for our ocean adventures.

Joseph is very easy going, and would be best guiding easy going travelers who like to smile and laugh. His English is wonderful and we would be lucky to reunite with him again in the future. Thank you Broseph! We love you!

Amazing, professional, dependable, kind, and trustworthy..
5/5

I worked with Joseph to coordinate a trip for my loved one's birthday. Joseph responded to our quote request within hours, worked promptly to customize it, and followed up with necessary information to make the trip possible. My aunt and uncle had a great time with Joseph, he even remembered and helped coordinate their birthday celebration while on the safari. Joseph went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable, enjoying their time and well taken care of.

Great customer service, communication, and professionalism. It's hard to trust what you see and get online, especially with money, but Joseph never pushed for payment and waited until he had provided services before asking for the payment.
Thank you once again, kaka Joseph. This was a great experience.

Oh! Did I mention how affordable the trip was?! Just all-around amazing!!!

BEST of the BEST!
5/5

Great communication and itineraries. Tanzania is home to Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater; this fact alone makes a solid case for declaring it Africa’s best safari country. But, of course, there’s much more than just these two places. our Tour Guide, Mrs. Evarist showed us their unbelievable density of Big Five species and sublime beauty, this amazing region around the gateway city of Arusha also includes Tarangire (huge dry season herds) and Lake Manyara (flamingos, tree-climbing lions, and Rift Valley scenery) national parks which are awesome in their own right.
what surprised me is the quality of the parks in Tanzania, which has set aside a full one-third of its land as wildlife preserves. Some of the other safari destinations, that Mr. Tarimo and Evarist took us to include, Ruaha National Park, and Selous Game Reserve. Jessica Evarist, our tour guide offered great itineraries with wildlife watching on par with the more famous parks, but without the crowds. In these places, the deep wilderness experience is a major draw, but there’s no need to sacrifice on comfort since the tented camps and lodges are as good as anywhere else, thanks to the manager, Mr. Tarimo. I 100% advise that you consider Lovely Safari as your travel option. Next time, I will visit habituated chimpanzees in Gombe National Park, to do revolutionary research. See you soon Joseph and Jessica!!

Best experience of my life!!
5/5

From booking the safari Joesph was very helpful answering many questions and booking accommodation for us. We Met Joesph the night before, he was very friendly and informed us what we were going to do for the next 2 days. During the safari he was very informative of all the animals which was amazing. We saw lots of beautiful animals!! The accommodation that was booked, was amazing. The food provided on this tour was always 5*, enjoyed everything. Joesph also helped us book a ferry to Zanzibar and gave us information for another safari- so helpful. I would 100% recommend this safari too all my friends and family.

4 Days Unforgettable Budget Safari, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
5/5

We booked last minute and had previously planned. The director at Lovely safari scheduled us and we really enjoyed the safari. the driver was really amazing. we saw all of the big 5 on our own, the leopard is an elusive animal and even when our guide pointed it out I had a hard time finding it without his directions. Our Guide's name was Joseph and he was exceptional...... the room that we booked was clean, well appointed and the bed was comfortable..... the staff at the lodge were kind and very friendly....... whats more is that the whole safari was very affordable.

worst company ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1/5

As we arrived, at the airport, we went to the car and the guide wanted us to pay the parking bill.
At the first day of the safari after about 30 min driving the manger called our guide and told him he need to pick up other clients from the airport ( our driver doesn't speak english!!!!!) And we had to insist he will stay.
At the end of the first safari day, there was a problem in the car (red charging light) but they kept driving. The guide didn't know where our accomodation was, and we got lost in the area. he missed the turn and got us into mud and the car got stuck. We had to walk in the rain, mud and in the dark for 20 minutes to the accomodation while
Our bags are in the car.
When we arrived we realized this was a solar accomodation (Sunrise) which has no warm water after 9pm. We were cold, upset and without any other clothing.
We called the manager (tarimo) to ask for some warm water but he ignored us.
The guide finally came back and promised us that there will be hot water but there wasn't and he just went away.
The next morning was a big waste. We were told to be ready at 8am but they didnt fix the car at night and we had to wait for 6 hours!!!!!!!!
6 hours was waste of time!waiting for the guide
To solve the problems that he should have solved at night. He lied to us all the way. He said he would bring another car but of course it never happened. We lost a full safari day.
Again, Tarimo was ignoring us and even hung up the calls from us.
When we faced the guide and asked him for the truth he was rude and ignored us the whole day.
Also the car was slower than the other cars and every ride took much more time than the others .
Dont spend your money on this company!
