Tom was excellent, a friend, driver, eyes like a hawk, and always going above and beyond.
We just finished a 6-day safari with Thom as our guide and I genuinely could not recommend him more. I’m 23 and traveled with my boyfriend, and from the very first day, Thom felt less like a guide and more like a friend. He was incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and made us feel comfortable and taken care of the entire trip.
I’ve traveled a lot — born in the US and have spent time throughout South America, Europe, and Africa — and this was truly one of the best travel experiences and companies I’ve ever booked with.
Thom has eyes like a hawk—I don’t know how he does it, but he spotted animals I would have never seen in a million years. He found everything we were hoping to see and so much more. He was patient, always willing to stop for photos, shared so much knowledge, and drove incredibly smoothly the whole time. We never felt rushed, and every day felt perfectly paced.
We also have to mention Chef Doula because the food was absolutely unreal. Every meal felt like a feast—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all out-of-this-world good, and there was always more than enough. It honestly blew us away how delicious everything was in the middle of the bush. Doula was also great company and added so much warmth to the experience.
Between Thom’s expertise, kindness, and unbelievable tracking skills, and Doula’s incredible meals and positive energy, this was truly the trip of a lifetime. If you’re thinking about booking — do it. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a better safari. Truly unforgettable. ❤️🦁🌅

We went on a safari with Zepha, an excellent guide, very friendly, very polite, and very helpful. He speaks Italian and has a deep knowledge of nature and animals, explaining everything clearly and interestingly.
He was always punctual and professional, drove safely, and the car was impeccably clean every day.

Unforgettable Private Honeymoon Safari
We joined Serengeti Wakanda Tours for a private 10-Day Budget Safari & Kilimanjaro Day Hike on our honeymoon, and it was unforgettable.
Our guide Edward was exceptional — professional, knowledgeable, and always positioning us perfectly for the best wildlife sightings and photos. We often had the best timing and viewing spots compared to other safari vehicles.
Our cook Dula prepared delicious, freshly cooked meals every day — far better than the standard lunch boxes we saw from other tours.
Special thanks to Goodluck for his quick help in changing our accommodation mid-trip and arranging a complimentary taxi when our flight was delayed. The team’s flexibility and attention to detail made everything smooth and stress-free.

Excellent Safari Experience!
We had an excellent private safari tour with Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris. From the beginning, the tour was well organized with transfers and clear communication. Our safari guide Tom was the best guide that we could have hoped for. We were able to observe more animals than we could have imagined including the Big 5 thanks to Tom, who is very experienced and knows all the Tanzanian National Parks and animal habitats so well. Tom was able to bring us exactly to where we had the highest chance of seeing the animals and was very professional and knowledgeable about the animals and helped us learn a lot about them. I would highly recommend Tom as a guide to anyone as he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had an amazing safari experience. He made sure we had the perfect photo opportunities, including getting us in the best position to see cheetahs and lions hunting. We were also accompanied by Dulla, our personal chef who was an incredible chef, serving us so many delicious four course meals that were diverse and well beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend clients to specifically request Dulla and Tom for their safari! Our tour also concluded in Arusha where we spent the day exploring waterfalls and hot springs, where we enjoyed learning more about Tanzanian culture with our driver Jackson. The vehicles were comfortable and spacious, equipped with charging outlets and wifi. Our accommodations were also comfortable. Overall, we found our Wakanda safari tour to be an amazing experience!

Fantastic Tanzanian Safari!
We had an excellent mid-range 8 day safari with Wakunda Serengeti Tours. Communication was excellent and each day we were given an outline of the day . Our first day to Mataruni Waterfalls with Josh was a great introduction and the coffee plantation tour with singing was a highlight!
With a brand new pop top Land Cruiser for the rest of our safari, we visited Tarengere NP, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater during the rest of our 6 night safari. We had an excellent knowledgeable guide in Andrew who was outstanding! we were amazed at how close we got to view so many incredible animals! Accomodation exceeded our expectations and the food and drinks provided were great. We loved how passionate Andrew was about finding great views of the animals and telling us facts about them as well as answering all our questions! Would definitely highly recommend this tour.

Serious, nice and wonderful !
We booked a 5-day trip with Serengeti Wakanda Tours. They were very responsive in providing a quote and readily available to answer our questions. They picked us up at the airport, dropped us off at our hotel, and gave us a quick tour of the Arusha market. We spent 4 days in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro National Parks with Bashiri. Bashiri speaks excellent French, is a lovely person, drives very well, and did everything he could to ensure we saw as many animals as possible. He shared anecdotes about Tanzanian life with us during our meals. The vehicle was brand new and very well-equipped. The lodges were comfortable, even luxurious, and the food was excellent. We had hot meals every day, which isn't always the case. They were delicious and plentiful. We thank the company and especially Bashiri for this unforgettable experience and incredible safari.

The food and accommodation on our mid-range safari was excellent. It included all meals as well as drinks & a hot lunch while on safari, luxurious tented accommodation & beautiful lodges.

Tanzania is a trip worth taking once in a lifetime.
Our guide was Zephania!!! I highly recommend him! He's a very honest person, and you can discuss any time requests or photo requests with him! He's reliable and kind!! Since there were only two of us, he cooked enough meals for four or five people each day, so sometimes we couldn't finish them, which was a shame to waste. He would pack the leftovers and give them to people who needed them (we even saw a Maasai child once). I was really touched by this; it speaks volumes about his character! We were also very lucky throughout the trip, witnessing leopards hunting, antelopes giving birth, and spectacular sights of zebras and wildebeest in abundance by the water! Overall, the safari was very enjoyable. By the way, Chef Dula's cooking was so much better than the hotel's; we were basically stuffed every day with his meals! It was a very happy and fun experience! A safari is definitely worth a lifetime trip!!
