remarkable service
We first were in touch with Nasr, who organized our 4-day-Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro. The organization was very uncomplicated and great. In the following, our tour guide Frank was our tour guide for the Safari. We appreciated his work very much! He took care of everything, we felt very comfortable - during the safari, the and at night at the campsite. The most important was, however, that our tour guide Frank genuinely respected nature and the animals. He always explained us a lot about the beautiful creatures and reminded us to treat them with respect. While other tour guides and safari cars approached the animals too closely, so that tourist could take pictures, our tour guide kept distance and let us enjoy the beautiful view .
I will never forget this with Moorland Safaris.

Our guide, justine, was excellent.
He had good knowledge about the animals and the country, was very social and knew where to find the animals.
Our chef, jeff, was the best you could hope for. Fantastic food and great service, I never forget this service.Thank you.

Awesome experience
Nasr Muniss was very friendly with us and tried to do everything to please us and make our trip more enjoyable. We loved Tanzania, the safari experience and we loved to meet Nasr. We truly recommend it.
Great Experience
What a great time I had on the Moorland Safaris. The driver was very professional and knowledgable about the animals and where to find them. The food was fantastic and the chef did such a great job. I highly recommend their safari and will be back.

It was a grate experience. We saw a lot of animals in our safari tour.
Good communication with the tour operator. OK with de guide/driver.
In 6 days we manage to see a lot of animals. The guide/driver seems to know very well the places where animals hide. We manage to see the big five (buffalo, elephants, lions, rinos, leopard - and even ghepard).

Amazing experience
It's my first safari. I visited Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Serengeti is amazing, migration of 2 millions wildebeest is unforgettable, should spend more days in Serengeti camp. Special thanks go to Ally and Nars for organising my itinerary, hotel pick up on time to start my journey. I joined group of 6 people from different countries. Our guide Adul is qualified. He loves animals and Serengeti. The cook is ok. Food was quite dry, food in lunch box was not hot, but dinner was ok. After safari, the company arranged hotel in Arusha and car transfer to Kilimanjaro airport. Very well-arranged. I will definitely recommend for others to use Moorlands safari as their tour organizer for good quote and well arranged safari.

Horrible experience, I wouldn't advice to book
Only book with this company if you want a nightmare in your holiday. We booked a day trip to Kilimanjaro using Machame route and this was our horror story: The driver and guide were totally unprepared and picked us up in arusha, shortly after we ran out of fuel as they had forgotten to tank and had to send someone to get fuel by foot.. followed by a tire adjustment , a lunch pickup that they had not arranged prior to be ready, and 2 speeding tickets due to the reckless driving trying to recover time, the original 2h drive to Kilimanjaro took actually 4h, arriving late to start the hike. To our surprise we got to marangu gate rather than machame, getting a totally different tour that the one advertised, without prior alignment. Once there, thinking the nightmare was over, we went up the first base with a guide who did not speak a single word nor guided us on the way, you are better off alone! Yet the worst part is once we started to head back down and it started to rain.. it was pouring, making the roads in the mountain totally muddy and slippery, so we wanted to wait a bit till it was less rainy and safe, yet the guide (Chris) insisted we could not wait as we needed to get to the gate before 6pm as otherwise they would had been charged an extra fee (when for starters we arrived late due to their lack of preparation).. this made us risk our safety and go down the slope totally pouring, which ended in us falling several times and all our belongings/electronics getting damaged. Only book with them if you want a terrible operator that does not care about your safety, please do yourself a favour and look for another operator as there are many available with the same rates , dont put at risk your safety.
