The safari was incredible, it was 3 days of seeing the most incredible animals that you only see in documentaries. The experience was excellent, the camps, tents and sleeping bags were all impeccable and Chef Emanuel's meals were exquisite. At night you can hear the animals, it is an experience to repeat. I am a person who was very apprehensive about going on a safaris. However, I felt safe and the animals were in their natural habitat it was such an amazing experience that it would have been huge mistake to miss out on. The tour guide was a five star, really in my eyes a ten all day and everyday. Now the food engineer prepared ten star course meals also. Oh my gosh the food was not just food but a taste buds experience. Top Notch!!! Great memories were made that will last many generations.

Fabulous Safari thanks to Emanuel and John! I recommend crater explorer!
We did 4 days of Safari, we started with Tarangire, next Seregenti and finally Ngongoro. It was amazing, my friend and I would have unforgettable memories of this trip! Emanuel who planned the safari was really kind and attentive, as John, our guide during the safari. We had the chance to see the big five! John is a fabulous guide, he always took the time to explain everything. we spent a really good time with him and the chef cook Emanuel (he cooked everyday for us very very good meals).
I recommend Crater Explorer and I hope I will do an other safari with them!

First of all, if you are wondering (like us) if Crater Explorer Tours and Safaris is reliable, I can assure you that despite the fears we were followed from beginning to end. Emanuel was very kind, he guided us by message and answered all our questions and requests remotely. When we arrived at the airport we were greeted by the driver who took us to Arusha, where Emanuel himself explained the Safari program to us.
Personally we chose the 5-day safari and warned, under the guidance of John - our guide as knowledgeable as he was kind - infinite animal species. When we also spotted the fourth and fifth of the Big 5, leopard and rhino, he was more excited than us. Emanuel our cook, on the other hand, delighted us for days with dishes that we already miss. The food is good, cooked with love, and quite varied. Tanzanian customs enter your heart and you end up getting used to them. Especially to smiles, accompanied by the inevitable ‘Hakuna Matata’.

Amazing Safari experience
We were thoroughly impressed with the whole Safari experience. There were no hidden fees, the camp sites were better than we thought and the whole staff was just very nice and professional. It was all very well organised from hotel before and after safari to meals and toilet breaks during the trip. The guide was excellent, friendly and always adapting to what the group needed. The chef was wonderful as well - we all loved the food we were getting every single day. We'd definitely recommend the safari with this company!

I booked a Kilimanjaro climb throuh Crater Explorer and was very satisfird with communication, price, personal attention, team of guides, cook and porters and the entire experience provided. The team was very experienced and took great care of me throughout the trip. Pricing was transparent, communication clear and included hotel accomodation before and after the climb as well as airport pick up. Tour operator arranged for sleeping bag rental and personally came to the hotel to discuss details and make guide introductions. I had a wonderful experiemce.
