Obag African Safaris - our best decision!
Choosing Obag African Safaris proved to be an excellent decision. Our experience with our guide, Obed, was nothing short of outstanding.
From the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Dar es Salaam to the moment he dropped us off at the airport, the trip was safe, enjoyable, and memorable. Despite the lengthy car journey to and from the safari, I felt at ease and secure with Obed at the wheel—an important consideration for many travelers. Additionally, I deeply appreciated Obed’s willingness to answer my numerous questions about Tanzania during the drive. His detailed responses enhanced my understanding of both the mainland and Zanzibar.
Obed demonstrated remarkable thoughtfulness and punctuality throughout the trip. He was consistently on time and attentive to our needs at every stage. During the game drive, his expertise became evident; he knew exactly where to locate the animals and approached them with care, ensuring respect for the wildlife while allowing us to enjoy the views. His knowledge of the animals added immense value to the experience, as he provided detailed insights during each sighting.

Selous game reserve was exceptional experience.stayed at mloka safari lodge which we loved !the staff in the short time we were there made us feel like family, we were sad leaving .Then on to mikumi Np.
Another exceptional experience where we saw everything possible ..our guides were absolutely 💯. Big shout out especially to johnston! And sorry I forgot the other driver name..they were 2 great characters. Very professional in their job..

Great tour with best services
We had really good time with Ngunda. He took me and my familly to Mikumi national park for 3 days where we saw many different animals within park and on the way there. We booked as a private tour and everything run smoothly since pick up from the airport and return. The lodge we stayed in was perfect for me and our kids. I must also mention the good price so I strongly recommend to book with Obag African Safaris. Ngunda is a great guide!

Amazing experienc
Obag Africa Safari was an amazing experience for our family! The staff was really friendly and inviting from the moment we arrived. They catered our safari to the interests of our family, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent in the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. The skilled tour guides made sure to tell our children interesting tales about the animals. Strongly suggested for any family wishing to travel to Tanzania!

The best experience ever! Obi is a very friendly, funny, patient and sociable person! It's definitely the best option to choose for the Safari experience. He is really caring and well organized. He is the best spotter of animals, too! So for sure you are going to take your best pictures ever!

Perfect Safari for Kids and Adults!
Our family booked a 7-day safari with Obag Africa Safari, and it was simply amazing! The itinerary was well thought out, balancing travel time with plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. Our children enjoyed the interactive wildlife experiences, and the guides were fantastic with them. They even organized special activities for the kids that made it fun and educational. Our kids loved the kid-friendly activities that were available, from kayaking and snorkeling to the daily beach games organized by the resort staff. My husband and I enjoyed some much-needed relaxation while the kids were safely entertained. The food at the resort was incredible, with a mix of international and local cuisines. Every meal was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary preferences.

It was a wonderful
The cultural immersion was another element of the trip that we adored. Our program at Obag Safari and Beach included a village trip, which gave us the chance to discover the customs and culture of the area. Our family found it really humbling to witness their way of life, crafts, and music, and the people were incredibly welcoming. It was a wonderful chance for our kids to learn more about the world outside of their immediate environment.

OBED …. Is the Best Guide !!!
This was one of my dreams to go on Safari. And our Guide Obed, was really the best guy I could’ve hoped for. He knew where to find the animals but at the same time. Also knew how to not disturb them so we could enjoy the time, without interfering with the animals. As well, he just knew so much about each individual animal it was so much fun to learn from him. And he helped us a lot with getting rid of the bugs in our rooms in a really funny way. Overall, I will do this definitely again. But only with Obed!
