Perfect Budget Safari
The drives were excellent and we saw all the animals in the park except the leopard. Simon our driver was very informative and pleasant and good with finding the animals we wanted to see. The food was good and the service as well as long as you ask for what you need. Our accommodation was adequate. Warm showers and good service. The campgrounds were always with some surveillance lest the monkeys get into your tent looking for food. The electricity is only on from 6:30pm to 10pm and from 5:30 to 7am. No WiFi. But after all we are camping and not at a resort. Generally it was a good experience.

Safari Update Travels is an exemplary agency going the extra mile to ensure great experience during the entire safari. They were able to organize a 4 day tour in a very short notice it being the same week. Although it was during a crowded period of the year. James the driver was very flexible while safe driving on itinerary from Nairobi to the camp. We were able to see a leopard which I understand is quite lucky and rare. Overall good value for my money.
Fast Communication and Excellent Service
Safari Updates responded to my emails faster than expected. They answered all of my questions, made a reservation for the accommodation, and finalized the invoice with a discounted rate within 2 days only. The operator asked me to pay the invoice to confirm the accommodation reservations. Of course, I payed the invoice to close the deal. I had an awesome experience for the entire 3 day period. The tents were not that comfortable but due to the fact that I wanted a Safari experience, I had no option but to bare the cold.
In overall, the trip was so good, I'll definitely be coming back with my whole gang.

Perfect Safari!
I took a solo trip to Masai Mara National Park. I would like to express my gratitude for the amazing experience I had thanks to Safari Update Travels. Thanks to Linsel and Xavier for the offer and to James my tour guide for the exemplary job he did. He showed me all the big five animals, he drove closer everywhere so that I took good photos. Thank you for the punctuality, good accommodation and meals. I highly recommend!

My friends and I contacted Silas for this safari and could not have been happier. He helped us work on duration of stay, pricing etc what was best suited for us and provided detailed itineraries right away. A lot of other safari company's we talked to tried to hype the price. but this wasn't the case at Safari Update Travels, we got great value for our money. The transport was excellent, the lodging was great, the driver (Simon) was knowledgeable about the locations and animals as well as funny and kind shout-out to him. The food was also top notch. I would highly recommend Safari Update Travels to anyone going on a safari in Kenya, I will also be sharing the same to all friends that will be travelling there soon. Best Tour Guide Peter!
Our guide Peter was fantastic. He has very sharp eyes to point out the animals that I never would have seen. He is also extremely knowledgeable about each animal and how they live and behave. The game drives were so informative and engaging! We were situated closely with giraffes, elephants, and lions.
As a person, Peter is very very kind. We had many laughs and stories during our 3 days with him. From recommendations about different restaurants to stories about his children and life, I was always very comfortable talking with him. He stopped at the Great Rift Valley for me so that I could take pictures and even assisted us with booking train tickets to Mombasa. I am happy to have made such a lovely friend during an exciting excursion. I cannot recommend Peter enough!!

Well curated Safari!
My husband and I took 3 day safari with Safari Update Travels. They were very responsive from the moment we made an enquiry to the end of our safari. Linsel and Silas staff at Safari Updates warmly received us at the airport and we started feeling safe and at home from that moment. James was our driver for the entire safari. He was always on time and very helpful with organizing everything. He made it feel like a well curated trip with a very knowledgeable friend. He knows where to spot the animals and drives with good orientation skills. We highly recommend Safari Updates. Hope to come back!!

From the moment I started communicating with the team a Safari Update Travels I could tell that they were professional, and service-oriented. Linsel was very helpful with the planning.
Our driver Simon arrived on time. He was showed us all the animals we hoped to see and he's all about the good vibes. I was laughing the entire safari.
We were well treated at the camp, had breakfast by the Mara river, nice sundowner, and replenishing dinner in the evenings which is what we needed after a long day of safari. The camp had stable internet, hot water and we were surrounded by the most beautiful nature. From the camp, we could see the hippos and crocodiles in the water and one hippo was known and heard to visit the camp. We also got packed lunch.
The itinerary was exhaustive and we were more than happy when coming back to Nairobi.
Next time we will definitely book an extra day as we were a little sad to leave. Kudos Safari Update Travels.

Excellent communication, very Professional, attention to clients interests, budget and period of stay. From the first contact I had with them to the minute I was dropped at the airport for my flight back home. Pure flawless delivery. Simon is absolutely the best. Always on time, hard worker, caring, good hearted, great sense of humor, honest and sincere. He was my guide for 5 days and I could not have asked for a better guide.
