Unforgettable
Our first contact was with Iddy by email and he was great. He outlined our options, answered questions and made everything easy for us.
On the safari itself, Emanuel was an amazing guide. He was so patient and had seemingly endless knowledge of the animals, their habits and their habitats. We appreciated his efforts to find so many, no matter how camouflaged they were. He answered a million questions and was always kind. He’s a special person!
The days were long and the African roads were a challenge but each evening we stayed in great accommodation with amazing food. I particularly liked Harmony Safari Camp where we stayed in a luxurious tent surrounded by the nighttime sounds of the Serengeti.
How lucky are we to have had this experience!

Local knowledge and genuine care delivering an exceptional, reliable experience
My partner and I were met by our safari guide, Boniface, as soon as we landed in Tanzania. We then got to experience the most wonderful adventure combining nature and cultural experiences. Boni knows the parks and wildlife exceptionally well. We told him we wanted to see a leopard, cheetah and rhino, and he absolutely delivered. Not only did we see them, Boni found leopard cubs, a cheetah feeding her cubs, lions fresh from a hunt and numerous predators rolling around while relaxing. The itinerary was well planned and delivered a fantastic experience without feeling rushed.
There was one accomodation that didn't meet our expectations, however, Boni's local knowledge, kindess, professionalism and genuine care for us, for nature and for the community meant that we got to experience a truly special safari that we will never forget.

Wonderful experience!
Our Tanzanian safari with samora explorers was an unforgettable experience! Reggie's knowledge and passion for Tanzania's wildlife and culture were evident (our guide). He was incredibly attentive to our needs and ensured we had the best possible experience.
The trip from Arusha to the coast was smooth, with every detail thoughtfully planned. I highly recommend Samora explorers to anyone looking for an extraordinary safari adventure!

An incredible safari experience from start to finish. Everything was very well organised and clearly explained along the way, which made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Emmanuel, was absolutely outstanding. We truly cannot praise him enough! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, and we quickly built a great bond with him (even learning a few Swahili words along the way!). The safari itself was unforgettable and exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommended.

Epic safari in Northern Tanzania
A fantastic trip with Samora Explorers on a 6 day Northern Tanzania safari. From the outset the communication with Iddy was great, and very prompt responses. The trip started at Samora River Lodge for what was a very relaxing stay prior to the safari (which was great after a long flight), our driver and guide Emanuel was awesome, very safe, informative and a great bloke. The parks, accommodation were great and the tour was very well planned and perfectly executed. Thank you Samora Explorers!

Samora Explorer let dreams come true
Me and my husband spent a 5- day safari trip at Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro NP. It was very well organized
distances between destinations were perfectly fitted into the schedule
The choice of accommodations reflected the variety of opportunities e.g.tented lodge in Serengeti
Our guide Regi is a very nice, attentive and absolutely reliable person.He drove us safe and with adequate speed through the parks He is speaking English as well as German That we saw the Big 5 and lots of other animals can of course not be guaranteed by Samora Explorer but on the other hand is not possible without a very good guide
Finally we want to emphasize that S.E.is avoiding litter by a sustainable way of offering lunch
We got freshly cooked meals every day and no single use lunch boxes as most other companies do
We are even more than satisfied by our trip and can fully recommend this company
Finally we can also recommend to start after the flight in the wonderful Samora river lodge

Fantastic experience
We had an amazing 5-day safari experience! Everything was very well organized — from the beautiful lodges to the incredible game drives. Our driver Emanuel was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip even more special. We got to see all the animal we hoped for. Highly recommended!

Professional operator with all included!
Great Communication, very professional. Had to change from 7 to 6 people after deposits was paid but they deduected the extra payment from the remained.
Very happy with our tour guide, Emanuel, he had good knowledge about the animals, was very friendly, professional and a safe driver(!).
Food on the tour was great! Proper meals every time, also the lunches. Alot of operators only has a simple lunch box.
All lodges were nice, and to be honest I think the tented camp in Serengeti «Harmony lodge» was a real highlight! Looks brand new and super friendly personel. Sleep with tousands of animals just outside the camp. 10/10. Super clean with a hot shower.
Also the Suricata Boma lodge is a good one, really nice pool area, great bungalows and restaurant. Feels like a 4 star hotel

We had the best time with Samora!
Our guid Emanuel was the best scout! He spotted a lot of animals for us!
We saw 8 rhinos which is a lot, we even sa lions mating.
But don’t forget about the lunch! It was the best! We got great food while other got lunchboxes 😅
Overall we had a great experience with Samora!
