Great Value Safari Experience in Tsavo East and West from Mombasa
We booked Steve and Richards Safari's based on the reviews we had read through on various platforms. All were overwhelmingly positive. Still ... we had some nerves about booking, as you read some horror stories about scams. I am pleased that we went through with the booking, as it was truly a memorable experience in Kenya. Departing from Mombasa we went to Tsavo East National Park, for day one of the adventure. Overnight was at a beautiful boutique lodge Called Lion Hill. It was a perfect place to relax in between safari's. The food was excellent, and the view over the park was stunning. On Day 2, after a morning safari in Tsavo East, we ventured into Tsavo West National Park. it is so different to the open plains of the East, and was stunning in natural beauty. the lodge was deep into the park, and was tranquil and a lovely place to rest for the evening. Amongst other things we saw Buffalo, Impala, Gazelle, Baboon, Ostrich, Zebra, Giraffe,
Hippo, Warthog, Elephant, Monkey, Leopard, Lion, Floor squirrel, Mongoose, Porcupine, Oryx and crocodile. We missed the Rhino's but it was a great experience. The reasonable price included all transport, park entry fees, accomodation and meals, so it was exceptioanlly good value. Door to door was lovely, and our driver and guide Solomon was excellent. Steve is just a lovely and enthusiastic operator, and was so accomodating to all questions and issues. Very happy to recommend.

Reliable and secure
We went with Steve and Richard on a two-day safari trip to Tsavo East, and it was a very good decision. We can confidently recommend this company. The experience was incredible, we saw so much. Everything was as agreed, the price was reasonable, we were picked up from the hotel, had water throughout the trip, and the accommodation was clean and pleasant. Both gentlemen were very polite and friendly. If you ever have the opportunity to go on a safari, you will not regret choosing these gentlemen's offer.
I regret that I cannot add recordings here, because we mainly recorded. For example, we recorded an agitated elephant at a watering hole chasing away three lionesses with their cubs. It is worth noting that we were the only ones present at this event! No other tour captured it, which is further confirmation that Steva's company is a good choice :)

Fantastic day in Tsavo East
We had a fantastic day at Tsavo East National Park. We saw many animals throughout the day: elephants, zebras, lions, impalas, gazelles, antelopes, baboons, hipo, giraffes, warthogs, and dozens of different birds. We couldn't have chosen better than Steve to take us on this great experience. Very friendly and helpful, with a great knowledge of all the animals. I highly recommend him. 5 stars!! A sensational two-day safari with an overnight stay!
My daughter and I planned a two-day safari before we left for Kenya. This is how we came across Steve Richardson Safaris. We were offered a tour of Tsavo East and all-inclusive services, and the details were sent to us. Unfortunately, we did not see all of the big five on our trip. However, we did see giraffes, zebras, hippos, elephants, lions, etc. It was an incredible experience, and our very experienced driver Salomon did everything he could to make this nature experience possible for us. Our stay at the Lions Hill Lodge was also a highlight. The view and the sunrise were unique. The food was surprisingly tasty, the drink prices were reasonable and the beautiful pool was perfect for cooling off. But a tour is only as good as the team of the provider, and here that was the case at every moment. Martin provided us with all the information we needed about the animals. Salomon, our thoughtful driver, and Steve, who was always available, friendly, dedicated and very punctual.
In summary, I can recommend Steve and Richard's safari to everyone!

Amazing 2-Day Safari Experience with Steve and Richard Safari
We booked a 2-day safari in Tsavo East, Kenya, with Steve and Richard Safari, and it was truly an incredible adventure. Although Tsavo East doesn’t have rhinos and we didn’t manage to see the full Big Five, we still encountered so many beautiful animals — elephants, lions, giraffes, and many others. Every sighting felt exciting and unique.
Our stay at the Lions Hill Lodge was another highlight. The panoramic view over the national park was stunning, and watching the sunrise from there was unforgettable. The food at the lodge also surprised us in the best way — there was plenty of choice, and everything tasted wonderful.
A huge part of what made the safari so special was the team. Our driver, Solomon, was exceptional. He clearly cared about giving us the best experience possible and worked closely with other guides so we could spot as many animals as possible, including lions.
Steve was just as impressive. He is very friendly, attentive, and always available. He personally picked us up from the hotel and made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire trip.
I would definitely recommend Steve and Richard Safari to anyone planning a safari in Kenya — professional, personal, and absolutely memorable.

Highly recommended!
Our trip to Kenya was a really unforgettable one, courtesy of Steve and Richard's safari tour! The 4-day safari, the visit to the Massai tribe, the fishing and swimming adventures, and the Mombasa city tour -- everything was perfect! The lodges and the hotel we stayed were the best! I couldn't have asked for a better one! Thank you Steve for making our Kenya trip a very memorable experience!

Wonderful experience
We had an amazing safari 3 days/2 nights in tsavo east and west.
Hotel were really great , we could see all the savannah and animals.
Steve is a good guide , patient.
We had a good communication before the trip, he's very reactiv.
Salomon is a very good driver, friendly.
The both make a lot to be able to see more animals and for our trip to be wonderful.

Experienced and enthusiastic guides, fantastic day - exceeded all expectations
Amazing tour with Steve’s team. I was a solo traveller joining a tour. I felt very welcome. And well looked after. We had a most enjoyable day and saw many animals including giraffes, zebra, ostriches, lions, hippos, to name but a few. Highly recommended!

Super. Respectful. Kind. Considerate.
Super experience! We did the 1 day Tsavo East Safari which Steve customised according to my time constraints. He went above and beyond to keep his word regarding timing, even if it meant getting down the vehicle and settling a traffic jam! The Safari itself was spectacular — we saw 15 lions, zebras, elephants, ostriches, giraffes — pretty much all the wild life we wanted to! He’s great at also giving you a sense of the different wild life patterns, their groupings and histories which I really enjoyed. Hands down would recommend him!
