Excellent
We traveled with kihindo tours and safaris and at mikumi national park and everything was really wonderful, From the visiting masai village to the beautiful park we saw a lot of animals like Elephants, zebra, buffalo and other more beautiful antelopes
Our guide Nuhu he is the best he did his best to to show us animals and tell us alot facts about animals and the landscape

very well organized and reasonably priced
The tour is very well organized. We were picked up from the hotel on time and taken to the train station. The train journey to Morogoro is very pleasant. Even the drive to Camp Bastian Mikumi was impressive, and we went into the national park the next morning full of anticipation. The evening before, we visited the Maasai (very authentic). The value for money is excellent, and the variety of animals you see in Mikumi National Park is incredible. Our driver, Nuhu, mastered the muddy track through the national park perfectly and took us to the best spots. We would have loved to have Nuhu with us for the rest of our safari. Tomorrow we continue on to Udzungwa National Park, but so far everything has gone perfectly. What I would really like to see Nuhu get is a new safari jeep from his employer. 😉

Our safaris with kihindo tours was absolutely fantastic, we sawa many animals such as giraffes lion with cubs the landscape is incredible , we meet Nuhu he was amazing guide he knows alot about the animals, stories about local people and wildlife, he is the best

Dream come true safari
Had a wonderful two-day safari in Mikumi with Danford as our guide. We saw the big 4 on our first day and he was so respectful towards the animals and made sure we were not bothering them. Would absolutely come again!

Awesome
The whole safari experience was awesome, I saw a lot of different animals specially lions and elephants and giraffes where the top! And we had a definitely the best guide guy Danford! We also saw the masai village and I learn a lot about the life of them.

Fantastic!! Amazing tour and very knowledgeable of the park and animals.
Our trip with kihindo was amazing. From initial communication with Pilly all the way to the end. Pilly was very responsive and provided all the info that we needed. Our pick up from Dar to the train to Morogoro, everhthing went smoothly. Our tour guide for the safari Danford was fantastic. We were able to see every animal, take lots of great pictures, and he was very knowledgeable about the park. Would definitely recommend and be back again. Asante Sana!

Exceptional guide and beautiful stay!
Our trip to Mikumi National Park was a 5⭐ experience from start to finish. The organisation was absolutely flawless. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt completely taken care of the entire time. From transfers to game drives, it was all seamless and stress-free.
Our accommodation at Camp Lilac was brilliant. We weren’t expecting air conditioning, so that was such an amazing touch and made our stay even more comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and we loved having breakfast each morning on our wooden decking. It was such a peaceful way to start the day surrounded by nature.
A special mention has to go to our guide, Simba. He truly made the experience unforgettable. His knowledge of the animals and the park was incredible, we could tell he’s genuinely passionate about wildlife. What we appreciated most was his ethical approach to safari. He was always respectful of the animals, never disturbing them and ensuring we observed them responsibly. It felt like a truly authentic and considerate wildlife experience.
We couldn’t have asked for a better safari. I would highly recommend Kihindo to anyone looking to go on a brilliant safari adventure in Mikumi! 🌿🦒

Reliable, punctual and professional — a seamless and unforgettable safari experience.
I booked a one-day safari to Mikumi National Park on a Friday for the following Saturday, and everything was perfectly organized and executed exactly as agreed.
They arranged a driver to pick me up at my hotel at 7:00 AM and take me to the Dar es Salaam train station. When I arrived at Morogoro station, another driver was already waiting to take me to Mikumi National Park. The entire logistics process was smooth, punctual, and stress-free.
The safari itself was amazing. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife in the park and clearly passionate about his work. He took the time to stop frequently, explain the different species, and share interesting information about the animals and their behavior.
Around 5:00 PM, the safari ended and I was driven back to Morogoro train station. Upon arriving in Dar es Salaam, another driver was waiting to take me back to my hotel.
I wish I had more time for a longer safari, but even with just a few hours in the park, I was able to see all the animals I had hoped to see — and even more.
To sum up, I highly recommend Kihindo Tours and Safaris for their professionalism, organization, and excellent service.
