Great Tanzania Safari
Our safari with Savannah Explorers was amazing! I researched this trip carefully and found that Savannah Explorers offered us the most for our money. There were three of us and we were very happy with this choice.
Roberto was extremely helpful. We e-mailed and skyped with him. He answered all of our questions promptly and sent us a detailed itinerary and a lot of valuable information about Tanzania and about what we needed for safari. He designed a plan for us according to our wishes. There was never a problem with planning.
We did not see Grayson, but our guide Abdul was great! He showed us so many animals.We saw all of the big five. He was good at spotting animals we otherwise would not have seen and he gave us a wealth of information about the animals, the people and the country. When we asked questions he answered in detail. He stopped often for us to observe and take photos.
Our vehicle was more comfortable than I had imagined it to be, although we drove over many bumpy, rutted roads. Water, soft drinks and beer were provided. We charged our phones and cameras in the vehicle.(Be sure to bring a converter to connect to.) We went on exciting game drives, including a night drive with a different guide. If you go on a night drive, be sure to bring a camera. We saw three cheetahs eating a zebra, which we were told was a rare sighting.
All of our accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. I especially liked Kati Kati tented camp in the Serengeti. The atmosphere was just what we expected on safari; the food was amazing and the staff, especially David, the camp director, was friendly and very helpful.
Do not miss Ngorongoro Crater. It is worth your while to spend a little extra to stay at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge at the lip of the crater. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The lodge itself was gorgeous. The view of the crater from the lodge's huge windows, from the terraces and balconies and from our room was magnificent. We saw baboons playing right below our window.
The animals, the terrain, the people, our accommodations-all of our experiences added up to an unforgettable adventure which we highly recommend to everyone. Thank you Savannah Explorers!

Great experience
We had amazing time both in Tanzania's Parks and at the seaside in Zanzibar, thanks to Savannah Explorer!
Organization, accomodations and program were at top level and also the support during the entire travel/holiday. The nature is beautiful itself, but the guide made a grat value added giving us a lot of amazing information about animals... and he brings us to see all the big five! :-)
We strongly recommend to make this wonderful experience with this tour operator!!

Perfect arrangement - 100 % according to the plan arranged with Roberto. Tarangire, Ngorongoro and 6 days at Serengeti. We had a terrific trip. Our guides Ole and Edwin serviced us to perfection and probably nothing we do not know today. We can recommend to use Telt Camps rather than lodges. Lodges 100% OK - but Telt camps gives an adventure for life. You hear Lions, Elephants, Hyenas and Zebras - just outside the canvas... fantastic. Food during entire trip excelent and high standard.. Staff at Kati Kati and Kisura Telt Camps did their outmost to make us feel comfortable with singing and high level of service. We definately shall come back and shall clearly use Svannah Explorers for our next adventure. Thank you to the entire team at Savannah.

Profesional and exciting safari in Tanzania
We had a fantastic safari just for the two of us. The safari was well organised and we had excellent accommodation in the Serengeti and Lobo. Jimmy was a knowledgeable, responsible and careful guide. He knew a lot about the animals and where we could find them. The Kata kata tens lodge and the Lobo safari lodge were both outstanding.

Fantastic trip
This safari was on my bucket list so I had dreamed about it a great deal. It met all my hopes and more. Our driver/guide Roddrick was awesome. He worked hard with other drivers to give my daughter and me an animal filled adventure. He treated us kindly and respectfully at all times. The food and accommodations were great. We especially enjoyed the tent camp, Kati Kati in the Serengeti. Everyone involved did their very best to give us a wonderful adventure. We always felt safe and even coddled. I could not have enjoyed my experience more.

10 days Tanzania safari
We made family group safari in Lake Manyara 1 day, Serengeti 5 days , Ngorogoro 1 day and Lake Eyasi 1 day.
The safari was very good. Every thing was well organized by Savannah Explorers team.
Our guide and driver - George was friendly and professional . We saw a lot of animals and we saw a crossing herd in the Mara river. So we was lucky. Thanks to Savannah Explorers team.
