Easy to deal with for booking, provided us with a very experienced guide and great accommodations
I appreciated the ease of booking our tour. We had a group of six and all of our questions were answered in a timely manner. Our guide Gerry was excellent - very experienced with the parks and all of the animals and birds. The communication between guides to share locations of animals was great - we got way closer to animals than I ever imagined and saw so much! He was happy to answer all of our questions along the way
There was a significant amount of driving on rough roads - no complaint, just something to be aware of.
Accommodations and staff were great too! Food was an issue for me with a vegan and gf diet. When we booked, I was assured that my requirements would be shared in advance, but the lodges seemed surprised when I informed them at arrival. I was glad I packed protein bars to supplement.
Overall, an amazing experience and happy to have had it with Savannah Explorers!

My husband and I chose to go on safari as our first adventure trip together. The experience from January 1st to 8th was intense and wonderful. We saw all the BIG FIVE.
Three white rhinos and two black rhinos, clearly visible from a distance with binoculars. A group of lions and lionesses with cubs at dawn. A cheetah with cubs having lunch. A leopard and lioness in a tree. The experience was made memorable by our guide Thomas, who skillfully captured the sightings. A wonderful experience.
Excellent resorts. I insisted on visiting Lake Natron to see the pink lake, as I hadn't done enough research; the best time of year was not recommended. This spectacle can only be seen in the dry months. It's beautiful to see flocks of flamingos on the horizon.

A memorable moment in Africa
This is the first time of me and my wife to visit Africa for the safari. We chose Savannah Explorers and they deployed their guide - Isaac Long to be our leader in this adventure. He is a well-experienced and knowledgeable guide with over 15 years safari experience for answering any questions about the culture, history and animals in Tanzania. I and my wife were excited to meet animals in a very close distance, even with the baby lions and cheetahs!
