Perfect Safari
I chose Savannah Explores for our 10 days trip to Tanzania, and I’m someone who really cares about details. About six months in advance, I contacted more than 30 agencies on Safari Bookings, compared them carefully, and went through multiple rounds of questions and discussions. By the time I booked, I already had a good understanding of safaris. Savannah Explores still managed to exceed my expectations.
First of all, a big thank you to our consultant Agustin. Agustin was extremely helpful from the start. He understood our needs, adjusted the itinerary quickly, and gave great suggestions. Driving from Ngorongoro to Serengeti instead of flying turned out to be a highlight. We saw huge numbers of zebras and wildebeests, plus lions, cheetahs, and even a serval cat. When we had a last-minute change in group size, he also helped coordinate with lodges and minimized our losses.
Then we met our guide, Gerald, or Gerry. Honestly, I would give him a 10/10 without hesitation. He is warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. During drives, he constantly shared knowledge about wildlife and local culture, and even quizzed us in a fun way to see if we remembered what we learned. Later, even the guide at Asilia Namiri Camp complimented us and said Gerald must be a great teacher. Professionally, he is outstanding. His driving skills are excellent, and his ability to spot animals is incredible, almost like having built in binoculars. What looked like a tiny dot to us, he could immediately identify. In the Ngorongoro Crater, he managed to show us seven rhinos in one day, which we know is already very lucky.
More importantly, Gerald taught us something beyond just seeing animals. He showed us that safari is not about ticking off the lists or rushing for photos, but about patience and truly experiencing the wildlife. He never rushed us and was always willing to stay out late just so we could enjoy the moment a bit longer.
Thank you, Gerald, for your dedication, your quiet sense of responsibility. You made this safari truly special. My brother and his wife will be visiting Tanzania at the end of June, and I have already recommended Gerald to them. I am sure he will create another unforgettable experience.

Very perfect Sarari tour！Perfect guide Isaac！
Savannah is a very good travel agency — it offers competitive prices, also has WeChat customer service for Chinese tourists, and has a great team of guides. Isaac is an excellent guide: friendly, reliable, hardworking, and a very steady driver. He understood our needs, and we are truly grateful that with his help we saw so many animals — three leopards, ten rhinos, as well as many lions and cheetahs. We basically saw almost every animal! My 4-day, 3-night Tanzania safari tour was an absolute dream come true, all thanks to our incredible guide, Maulid! We were unbelievably lucky to see a staggering amount of wildlife, including the entire Big 5—lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and cape buffaloes. Seeing a rhinoceros in the wild was a truly unforgettable highlight.
Maulid has an amazing talent for navigation; he knows the tracks so well and has an unbelievable eye for spotting animals that we would have completely missed otherwise. On top of that, he is a fantastic photographer! He took so many stunning, high-quality pictures of us and the animals throughout the trip.
His English is absolutely flawless, which made communication incredibly smooth and easy. Above all, Maulid is one of the kindest, most attentive people we have ever met, and his warm hospitality made every moment of our journey pure happiness. We had the most magical and unforgettable time. If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Maulid!

Amazing safari
Our safari with Tsokio was excellent, we had a once in a life time experience, especially with the nights in the savannah's tent, the bush dinner for our honeymoon and of course the incredibile amount of animals we saw. We liked very much also to dive in the Arusha market, to have a taste of and african city's life.
Perfect guide for a beautiful experience
The guide (Richard) really wanted to satisfy us in everything, searching the best spots until the last second to give us the best experience possible.
Excellent tour operators
The whole experience was very good. All the stays, tour guide, food, arrangements, hygiene across everything was very nice. I travelled with my family and all of us loved everything about the arrangements. There were some negative reviews for the properties for food and insects in room but that was not the case at all. I would suggest the managers to pls put more pictures of their beautiful properties so that customers can see more of what they are offering. In Serengeti, pls provide jet sprays. Rest there is nothing to put a fingyre at. The food options are very good across veg and non veg and they accommodate specific needs too
Outstanding Safari Experience with Excellent Value for Money
This was my second time visiting Tanzania with Savannah Explorers, and once again they proved to be an excellent choice. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, making the trip completely stress-free.
