I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania
We went on a safari in August 2026, where we customized a tailor-made itinerary according to our needs (5 nights and 6 days, with the main goal of sleeping in the northern Serengeti to see the Mara River crossing).
Communication with Anderson was excellent right from the start!
Once we arrived in Arusha, we met Sokio, our guide, who made our safari truly unforgettable! He took us everywhere, and we managed to see the Big Five, the Great Migration, and so many other animals. He was professional, attentive, and taught us so much!
All the lodges booked for us were beautiful, with fantastic food!

Wonderful safari
Ms. Shamanta organized the trip impeccably, and we even had a video call with Mr. Roberto—who was in Tanzania at the time—to clear up some doubts and get some incredibly useful advice.
We ran into an issue with our luggage not arriving at the airport, but the staff immediately stepped in to resolve the problem, even though it wasn't their responsibility.
The Savannah Explorers team delivered our bags two days later, despite the fact that we were a long way from Arusha. Truly outstanding service.
The safari was spectacular; we visited beautiful locations and saw so many animals—often from very close range. Our guide, Semle, was incredibly professional, offering the best advice on what to see and do, and above all, ensuring we lacked nothing throughout the entire safari.
The vehicle was comfortable despite the rough roads, and we never experienced any issues.
The accommodations were all excellent in terms of both the rooms and the food; the most enchanting spot was undoubtedly the Serengeti Kifaru Tented Lodge, where zebras would come right outside our tent at night to graze.
We were captivated not only by the wildlife but also by the sunsets, whose intense colors were truly dreamlike.
The trip exceeded our expectations.
I would like to thank the entire Savannah Explorers team for the professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy they demonstrated every single day.

Wonderfull experience!
Our experience with Savannah Explorers was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations.
We travelled as a couple and explored some of the most incredible places in Tanzania, including Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organised, allowing us to fully enjoy the journey without ever having to worry about the logistics.
We were particularly impressed by the accommodations and by the warm hospitality of the staff at the lodges belonging to the Orangi Collection. The properties were beautiful, welcoming and spotlessly clean, and the staff were always kind, attentive and genuinely welcoming.
Our safari experience was simply unforgettable. Being surrounded by such breathtaking landscapes and witnessing Tanzania’s incredible wildlife up close was a truly magical adventure. A special mention goes to our guide, Tarta, who was absolutely fantastic. He spoke excellent Italian, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, and was always attentive to our wishes and interests. He did everything possible to make the experience special, adapting the itinerary and activities to what we wanted and making sure all our expectations were met.
We also felt that the price we paid was very fair for the quality and variety of the experience we received. Considering the organisation, the accommodations, the level of service, the private guiding and the incredible places and experiences included in the trip, we found the overall value for money to be excellent.
Thanks to the professionalism, kindness and passion of everyone involved, our trip became even more memorable and gave us moments that we will cherish for a lifetime.
