Exceeding even the rosiest expectations
We had a wonderful 10 days. Our agent, Nuru, managed to organize a trip perfectly tailored to our needs, down to the smallest detail. Perfect tour of 4 days in Tarangire Serengeti Ngorongoro: driver top
We went on a full four-day tour of Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro parks. Everything was very well organized. The jeep was perfect and comfortable. What really made the difference was our driver and guide, Babu—he was truly kind and extremely knowledgeable. We were very lucky with our wildlife sightings, but he was always quick to spot things, too. I was genuinely sad when the experience came to an end.

Safari Tanzania
Our safari experience in Tanzania with Savannah Explorers was truly magnificent and comprehensive in every respect.
We spent eight days traversing some of Tanzania’s most beautiful locations: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.
It was a very well-organized itinerary that allowed us to experience diverse environments and fully savor the magic of a safari.
Special thanks go to Roberto, the owner of Savannah Explorers, for the organization and the helpfulness he showed throughout the trip. We also greatly appreciated working with Nuru, who was always present and available to assist with tour arrangements and daily communication.
The choice of accommodations was excellent as well. We alternated between lodges and tented camps—an approach we highly recommend, as it allows you to experience the safari in different ways: from the comfort of a lodge to the more authentic experience of camps immersed in nature, while still enjoying all modern amenities.
Among the accommodations, the Orangi Lodge—magnificently managed by Sara—deserves special mention; we loved it in every respect.
The eight-day safari was a succession of stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, thrilling emotions, and unforgettable moments. We had the opportunity to discover not only Tanzania’s nature and wildlife but also aspects of local life and culture—such as the fascinating morning we spent in a Maasai village.
We return from this trip with wonderful memories of Tanzania. It was an intense, well-organized, and comprehensive safari that gave us eight truly special days.
We recommend Savannah Explorers to anyone wishing to discover Tanzania through a well-crafted safari that combines parks, tented camps, and lodges.

Would NOT recommend Savannah Explorers
We went on a private safari in Tanzania with Savannah Explorers. The wildlife was amazing, but unfortunately, our guide Felix seriously affected the experience.
1. Extremely slow driving
He drove ridiculously slowly. Other safari vehicles would constantly pass us. Once, we were trying to catch a river crossing, but by the time we arrived, it was already over and everyone else was driving back. We specifically asked him to drive faster, but he refused. A 2-hour drive would often become 3 hours.
2. Wasted our full-day permit
We paid for a full-day Serengeti permit on our last day, but Felix took us to the airstrip very early. We ended up waiting there for about 4 hours before our flight. Earlier that morning, wildebeest were already gathering near the river, so we could have potentially waited for another crossing, but he chose to leave.
3. Got lost in Serengeti at night
One evening, he got lost on the way back to camp and spent around 3 hours driving around in the dark. At first he insisted he knew the way, and only later admitted he was lost. Eventually we found out he had been going in the wrong direction from the beginning.
Based on our experience, we would not choose Savannah Explorers again.

Good tour
Our experience with Safari Experience was absolutely wonderful!
We were lucky enough to see so many animals, both herbivores and carnivores, and enjoy truly unforgettable moments.
A special thank you goes to our guide, Babu, who was absolutely five-star!
• He has excellent knowledge of the parks and explained everything to us with great expertise, using scientific knowledge while always making everything clear and interesting.
Babu speaks Italian exceptionally well, almost like a native speaker, even though he has never been to Italy!
I highly recommend this trip, but above all, I recommend experiencing it with Babu. He works with great passion, and you can truly see how much he loves his job.
