Professional and easy to communicate
Easter Safari
We booked a 6 day Safari in April. The weather we had rainy weather for the first 3 days. Our guide Thomas was great from the airport pickup till the drop off. With the wet weather he ensured the routes we took especially in the park was safe. With all the mud the car got really dirty but the next day the car was nice and clean for us. The Savannah Explorers office communicated with us right until the time we were due to ensure everything went smoothly. We had a great holiday and safari experience thanks to Savannah Explorers.

Micky was very helpful with all our questions.
Arrived in the hotel in Arusha, our guide and driver Aby contacted us and briefed us about the upcoming days.
The accomondations in lodges and tented camps were always upper class with friendly personnel and supplies.
We saw more wildlife on our Safari than we expected.
Aby is a very professional and knowledgable guide, a very safe and comfortable driver and also a very nice guy.

i realized a dream
Hi, I did, with my family, the Safari from 24 to 27 December 2019 with Savannah Explorers. It was an unforgettable experience. We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara parks. The list of animals we have seen is very long and exciting. Our guide, Isaac, always very attentive and kind, had a particular "flair" for identifying animals.
Each evening we stayed in a different lodge, always very characteristic and of a good standard.
Savannah Explorer was a nice discovery for us, it organized not only the safari but also the stays and transfers to and from Zanzibar where we concluded with a stay in total relaxation at the sea fantasizing a new dream, I highly recommend it. Claudio.

A perfect safari!
Savannah Explorers, specially Albert, was very flexible and always available to discuss our ideas, helping us to build the tour that we wanted, which was really cool! The guide, Jackson , was amazing, showing a lot of knowledge and respect for the animals and also very cautious and responsible, driving carefully. He was always available to show us different species making a small briefing of it.
I definitely recommend this company for a a safe and enjoyable safari.

Great safari experience with Savannah!
We (a couple) had a great experience wiht Savannah Explorers!
We started with 7 days of private safari in the central and north parks and then other 8 days by relaxing on Pemba island.
The organization has been really good, the guide very keen to satisfy our needs, Roberto and his staff very professional and ready to assist and take care of you!
We appreciated the accomodations, expecially the Mbugani Tended camps, both the one in central Serengeti and the migration one in the north of Serengeti, surrounded by wild nature!!
We would recommend everybody to book a safari with Savannah Explorers ....we are already thinking about another safari with Savannah :)

Amazing and well organised journney
The safari was well organised. Time allocated for each park was well distributed. The accomodations were all good except the hotel in Arusha, very noisy. We were impressed by the Baubab tent camp. Very nice...
Food in general was ok. However there is room for improvement, expecially the lunch packs. They could be better and more accurate.
Special remark to the guide. He was expert, very prepared on details about the animals, the parks and the history of Tanzania. He was also very keen to satisfy all our needs. He was smily and nice.

Amazing Safari
Our guide (Gerry) is professional and friendly. The safari can be tailored on your time and budget and They respond quickly on any questions you have.
My only recommendation is to avoid the Lobo Wildlife Lodge at Serengeti Nord, we felt sick due to the food eaten there...Anyway Savannah was very helpful in solving the issue we had.
on the other hand, ask for Mbugani Camp in Central Seregeti, it is just perfect.

Starting from the reservation, all the informations were been accurated (email and whatsapp number always availables). Our guide James... Simply perfect, on time, expert and really funny. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro... All of them are very clean (also the toilets!!!) and beautiful. All lodges and tented camps we stayed were beyond expectations,excellent cleaning, good quality dinner & lunch box and comfortable rests. Thanks Floriana and Roberto, super thanks James!!
