Masai Mara experience March 2026
It was our first time in Masai Mara, we had an excellent game drive experience with Caxstone.
Navigating 1500sqkm of Masai Mara and to understand the whole ecosystem can be turned to a great experience from just good with an excellent guide.
Be calm and patient, have high excitement but low expectations and allow yourself to experience the whole ecosystem as is.
Considering the endless landscape, all safari vehicles are equipped with radio to inform about rare sightings. But the joy to sight a beast in your own and chase is second to nothing.
Be equipped with binoculars, ready to stand long hours on vehicle and get yourself an excellent guide like caxtone to drastically imrove your chances and experience .

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Sunny Creek Safaris. Everything was smoothly organized, and the team ensured our safari was stress-free and perfectly planned.
We did two full game drives, and they were beyond incredible. Thanks to our fantastic guide, James, we were able to spot the Big Five! He truly went the extra mile to give us unforgettable sightings - including watching a leopard with its hunt, a lioness hunting a warthog in action. His patience, sharp eye, and dedication made all the difference.

The best operators we could find. James is such a humble and helpful person. He was with us right from the beginning from planning to dropping off at the airport. He customised the tour according to our requirements and budget. He took care of all our requirements. Our tour guide Saddam is a gem of a person and has excellent instincts. Because of him we were able to watch the big 5 on the first day itself. Overall after the trip we felt that these guys were not just or operator it tour guide, they were like our family.

Amazing cordination
We had an unforgettable experience in Masai Mara thanks to Mr. Saddam, our exceptional travel guide. His knowledge about wildlife, local culture, and the ecosystem was truly impressive. He made sure we didn’t miss a single highlight and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety throughout the tour.
His spotting skills are outstanding — we were able to see incredible wildlife moments because of his experience and sharp eye. He was patient, friendly, and always ready to answer our questions with enthusiasm.

Nice 5 day group Safari
I went on a 5 day safari with Sunny Creeks through Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Hells Gate. We saw the Big 5 and many more animals.
Our group of 7 people was very nice and Johny Jackson our guide was an excellent driver, very experienced and kind.
The 4x4 was clean and very comfortable!
The accommodations we stayed in including food were fine too.
All in all a great experience!

Memorable Experience!
From the moment I was picked up, the logistics were seamless. Transfers were punctual, the vehicle was comfortable and well-maintained, and everything ran exactly as promised. For a multi-day safari in a remote location, that level of smooth coordination makes a huge difference.
The wildlife experience was simply outstanding. I was fortunate enough to spot the Big Five, and not in rushed, crowded moments . Our guide positioned us perfectly for clear, unhurried sightings.
The hospitality throughout the trip stood out as well. The camp staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive. Safety was clearly a priority. We always felt secure, well-briefed, and looked after. For anyone traveling from far away, that peace of mind matters.
Masai Mara itself is breathtaking, but the right operator makes or breaks the experience and Sunnycreek Safairs absolutely made it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, wildlife-rich, and genuinely memorable safari.

Fantastic, Nailed it - we saw the Big 5 !
We travelled to Kenya as a family of 7, including a kid from India (Tamil Nadu). The entire experience was an absolute pleasure right from the coordination on phone & on WhatsApp with James, no hiccups & he reverts quickly. He is reliable. Very polite and accommodative.
The highlight of the trip was our tour guide Mr. Caxton. I would call him lightning 😅. With over 12 years of experience. He knows the Masai Mara through and through and is connected well with the rangers which is very important, since they are the ones who give you the information of the animal sightings.
When he speeds up during our game drives we are certain (even without him saying) that we are in for a big sighting.
We longed to see the Big 5 and so we did and trust me at such close proximity. Thanks to this man.
The highlight of the trip & thanks to Caxton, was for watching a big herd of elephants cross right in front of us just a few arm’s lengths away from these magnificent animals. I’ll cherish that moment for life. Seeing so many little calves walking alongside their mums and aunts was truly unforgettable. Loved every second 🤍🐘
We were incredibly lucky to see lions, lionesses, cubs, the very rare leopards walk past our Vehicle and extremely rare black rhinos, along with countless birds, scavengers, and so much more. An unforgettable wildlife experience
Masai Mara never fails to disappoint. And we could see he was super driven to show us the Big 5.
