Amazing Safari Through Kenya and Tanzania
Myself and two friends booked a 7-day safari through Kenya and Tanzania with Morningstar. From the very beginning, Alice was an incredible communicator. We received three quotes from three different vendors and Morningstar not only gave us the best price for the "biggest bang for our buck," but provided us with a full itinerary within 24 hours. We made a couple of changes and Alice was able to make them quickly. Payment was easy and we were able to break it into payments and each of us were able to pay our portions separately.
Tim was our tour guide in Kenya. He always made sure we had plenty of time with the animals to get the best photos. The hotels/lodges were great. Jackson was our guide in Tanzania. He was incredible and was constantly sharing information about the park and various animals. We saw SOOO many lions. My mind was blown on how many we saw. The weather was great. We LOVED our tented camps in Tanzania. Both Tim and Jackson were great drivers and the company Land Cruisers were comfortable and well maintained. We will 100% use Morningstar again in the future.
Great safari in Nakuru and Maasai Mara
Wonderful tour. Highly recommend it. Our driver, Stephen, was great. Had never heard of Nakuru Nat. Park. But so glad we went. The bird-life was amazing. Maasai Mara was not as busy as I thought it would be. The temperature was pleasant. Recent rains had made the park very green. Our accommodation there (Entim) had a stunning view of the river. Food and staff were wonderful.

Truly memorable Kenya safari by Morning Star
Thank you to Morning Star for a fantastic safari trip. To Winnie for organising our itinerary. The proposal impressed me, it was not just an email with ideas but a professional document. To John our Guide/Driver for making sure that we saw every animal we would ever expect to see - not just the big 5 but all the other animals and birds we managed to see.
We were met at the airport by one of the Morning Star guides and dropped at our hotel. The next day John picked us up from our Nairobi hotel and our adventure began. We spent 3 days and nights in the Mara where we saw cheetah, leopard, rhino, lots of elephants, zebra, lions and cubs and more lions, giraffe. Our camp was the Zebra Valley which was placed such that we could watch the animals across from the camp.
Then we went to Lake Nakuru and saw even more animals, more rhino.
One day later on to Lake Naivasha and the Sopa Lodge which was lovely. Morning star had arranged a guide and boat trip out to the island to see birds animals.
A day later and on to Amboselli and the lovely Kibo Safari camp (my favourite stay), Here we saw elephants all trooping down to the Marsh and got the most fantastic photos.
John always made sure he not only got us to the animals but he placed the truck so that we got the good shots and was happy to wait until we were happy to move on.

Amazing Safari thanks to Augustine and Beryl
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Morningstar Safari, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.
Our main contact was Beryl, and from the very beginning she was extremely professional, flexible, and attentive. She suggested different ways to make the most of our trip and helped tailor everything perfectly to our needs. Communication was very smooth both via email and WhatsApp — she answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly, which gave us great confidence before arriving.
When we finally arrived at the airport and met Beryl in person, she was just as professional, friendly, and genuinely kind as she had been throughout the planning process. It was such a pleasure to meet her.
Our driver-guide, Augustine, was truly exceptional. His knowledge is impressive, and his eyesight is on another level — he could spot animals we would never have seen on our own! Beyond his expertise, his good energy, friendliness, and sense of humor made every game drive even more enjoyable. We always felt comfortable and well taken care of with him.
We stayed at Sopa Nakuru and Zebra Valley in Masai Mara, and both were amazing. A special mention goes to Margaret from Zebra Valley, who is another incredible person that will definitely put a smile on your face during your stay.
While Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara were breathtaking and unforgettable destinations, we truly believe it’s the people who make the biggest difference. Beryl and Augustine absolutely made this experience extraordinary and unforgettable for us.
We will definitely be back — and we won’t hesitate for a second to choose Beryl and Augustine again to plan our next adventure.

Exceptional experience in Kenya
If our Kenya vacation was special, it's also thanks to Morningstar. From the quote to the booking, everything was simple, thanks to Doreen's timely and detailed responses. And what about the safari? Our driver, Augustine, was fantastic! a great guide and great driver, an expert on animals, parks, and African culture. The safari days and the long drives from one place to another were comfortable and filled with conversations on a variety of topics. Thank you, Augustine! You are a special man who loves his job and his country, it wouldn't have been the same without you. Another excellent review about the lodges in the parks, the service and location exceeded all expectations. I recommend everyone to stay two nights at Maasai Mara and one night at Lake Nakuru. We managed to see so many animals in February, some of them extremely close. For the beach, we chose three nights at Diani Beach. Thank you, Doreen for booking the Swahili Beach Resort, one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen, equipped with every comfort and impeccable service. We hope to return to Kenya soon, it is a wonderful place! We will definitely rely on Morningstar and Augustine. We recommend this agency to everyone.

Morning star were accommodating, responsive, friendly and attentive.
The communication from morning star was consistent throughout, they continued to check on us and answer all our questions in a timely manner before we booked up until we landed. Joysharon also continued to check on us thought the trip to make sure everything was going well. They were very attentive and accommodating. We were a big group of 11 with some of the people being added on at a later date. No changes or queries were ever a concern and Joysharon would always try to resolve these changes quickly. Joysharon provided suggestions of places to stay and these were all incredible with the views, the experience and the service within the accomodations, especially within the zebra valley camp. This accomodation exceeded expectations.
The communication with the tours guides willy and Alex was impeccable, they always explained everything and their knowledge was incredible. They went above and beyond to give us the best safari they could. At times they made slight changes to the itinerary for the day to better our experience so we could enjoy the safari more. Morning star was reliable and the whole experience for where we stayed, the activities and the safaris was defiantly a great value for money. We did an 8 night safari and went to a number of parks ( lake Naivasha, Massi mara, lake Nakuru and the ol pejeta conservatory). We saw the big 5 and ugly 5. We met and got to experience the last northern white rhinos up close and some of the other rhinos, the ol pejeta conservatory looks after. We also got to experience a night safari at this park. We also visited the Massi mara village, completed a night downer and had 2 bush breakfasts which we as a group loved within the Massi mara. We would definitely book a safari again with morning star.

Unforgettable experience
We visited three national parks with very different ecosystems in Kenya: Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli. The experience was absolutely incredible, and we felt extremely happy and satisfied with this trip.
Communication with Morningstar was fast and smooth, and the planning was always adapted to our preferences. Dennis was very helpful, attentive, and responsive throughout the entire process.
What truly made our tour perfect, however, was our driver and guide, Mwlolo (Steven). He was excellent, his driving was very efficient and we always felt safe with him. He is also amazing at spotting wildlife: we saw almost all the animals you can possibly see (the only one we missed was the leopard, and we were told no one had seen one in the previous three days). Mwlolo patiently answered all our questions and helped us understand Kenya, its people, and its flora and fauna much better. His knowledge and kindness made a huge difference.
The hotels booked by Morningstar were all excellent, very close to nature, with comfortable rooms and beds. The food at all the hotels was also very good and exceeded our expectations.
Lastly, we want to thank Morningstar from the bottom of our hearts for their help when we lost our passports. Both Mwlolo and Dennis went above and beyond to help us locate them and organize transportation so we could receive them in time before our next flights. Thank you so much, we truly don’t know what we would have done without you.

We have chosen the tour from internet. We are 5 elderly people, old friends. Our contact person from the office was Joysharon. She was kind, quick and very effective. The guide/driver was Alex Mutua, and we were very pleased with him, too. He was very patient, polite and very knowledgeable about the parks and the animals. The lodges and the food were excellent. This was a midrange tour, 8 days long, and we found it cost effective. We can recommend this tour highly for everybody.
