EFFICIENT, NOTHING TOO MUCH TROUBLE, PETER THE GUIDE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL AND PATIENT.
Two of us went to the Masai Mara as a tailor made tour to video the wildlife and the wildebeest migration, starting in the Mara and returning back via Amboseli N.P. for the second part of the trip in Tanzania. Our guide / driver in Kenya was Peter Kimunya. We requested the vehicle to have special bars to be installed so we could rest the cameras on while videoing from the windows and also the middle row of seats to be removed to give us more room. When we arrived, Peter had already removed the seats for us and installed the bars, he also provided us with bean bags to rest the cameras on while filming from the open top. Peter himself was very knowledgeable keen and enthusiastic and most importantly for us videoing, patient. All the accommodation was good with good food. The balloon trip that we requested over the Mara was well run and great fun. Overall the trip went like clockwork, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and guide.

Peter is knowledgeable and very punctual
It was really good experience of Masai mara, Nakuru, ol Pejeta including night Safari. We saw big 5 at all places except Nakuru. We were the only family who could see lioness family at a zebra kill in Nakuru other cars couldn't see that. Peter helped us with a lot of effort. Overall experience was awesome.

Reliable, experienced and everything else you could wish for.
I have been with Peter on two tours through Kenya now, and I can honestly say he is top notch. Besides being extremely experienced with the mammals and birds, he is a pleasure to be around and makes the trip so enjoyable. Other little things put his company further ahead of competition, such as extremely timeous, a clean vehicle everyday, perfect driving and positioning of the vehicle at sightings. He caters to all clients needs and this only comes with years of experience.
All of the above, with an utmost understanding of all the fauna and flora, makes him the only choice.

Longclaw Expeditions are simply the best!
I have traveled to Kenya on four occasions in 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2022. I have been to Maasai Mara three times, and have used Peter with Longclaw Expeditions each time. Peter is extremely knowledgeable about all species, especially birds. He knows the park very well and knows where to go to find the animals. We have seen just about all the large mammals in Maasai Mara, including elephants, rhinos, lions,leapords ,cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, and all the common animals. Peter not only knows where to locate the animals, but provides an education about each one. I am a photographer, and Peter is great at getting you up close for great pictures. He also can recommend several great lodges to stay at. Peter is reliable, trustworthy , and honest. If you want a great safari adventure, please don’t hesitate to call enter at Longclaw Expeditions.

Excellent Tour Operator
Just finished a 3 night 2 day Safari with the best tour guide I’ve ever been with. Peter is excellent, very knowledgeable about everything, and knows all the best spots. Masai Mara was beautiful and we saw Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffalo, and many more just to name a few. This is my 3rd Safari and it is very rare to see all of these in one or 2 days. Peter found them all! He is very trustworthy and safe and you will have a great time. I will be back. Thanks Peter!!

Amazing 2 night, 3 day safari
Our trip was absolutely incredible! This is my 4th time to Kenya and 2nd time with Peter and Longclaw Expeditions. I won’t ever use anyone else again! Peter is so knowledgeable and professional. From the time he picked us up, we were taken care of and every need supplied. The pricing is also very fair. During our game drives, Peter always seemed to know where to go. We saw Cheetah’s eating after a fresh kill, elephants, hippos, crocs, giraffe, multiple lion sightings - several as close as 5 feet away from our vehicle (lions choice, not ours, haha). We saw multiple leopards and probably every animal Masai Mara has to offer. If you’re looking for a great safari, there is no need to look beyond Peter and Longclaw Expeditions.
