During the safari, everything exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was perfectly organized, the accommodations were excellent, and every transfer was handled seamlessly. Our guide, Abdul, was outstanding: knowledgeable, passionate about wildlife, and always committed to giving us the best possible experience. Thanks to his expertise, we were fortunate to see all the main animals, including big 5 and leopard more than once!

An Unforgettable Honeymoon Safari – Truly the Trip of a Lifetime!
We just returned from our Kenya and Tanzania honeymoon safari with Meijo Safaris, and it was beyond anything we could have ever dreamed of! From watching majestic elephant herds in Amboseli with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background to descending into the Ngorongoro Crater and following the Great Migration across the Serengeti, every single day brought a new sense of wonder. What made this trip so magical was the incredible attention to detail. Meijo Safaris coordinated with our lodges in advance, and we were surprised with so many special honeymoon touches—especially at Kibo Safari Camp and Serengeti Ark Safari Lodge! Those unexpected romantic gestures made our honeymoon feel deeply celebrated and personal.
In Kenya, our guide Victor was fantastic. He showed incredible patience, deep knowledge of the ecosystem, and a warm, welcoming energy right from the start. Victor had a keen eye for hidden wildlife in Amboseli, always positioning the jeep perfectly so we had the best angles for photos while keeping us fully comfortable and informed throughout the drive.
In Tanzania, our guide Gebi was equally extraordinary. His intuition for animal behavior in the vast Serengeti and Ngorongoro was spot-on, leading to flawless wildlife viewings every single day. Gebi also elevated our daily safari experience by setting up proper picnic tables out in the wild for hot, delicious lunches instead of basic cold packed boxes. Enjoying a hot meal surrounded by nature was such an incredible treat!
Both Victor and Gebi were master drivers, consummate professionals, and genuinely wonderful people who went above and beyond for us every day. The border transition was completely seamless, the logistics were smooth, and the entire execution was 10/10. If you are planning a safari—especially for a honeymoon—we cannot recommend Meijo Safaris, Victor, and Gebi highly enough!

If you are looking for a seamless, magical, and truly unforgettable East African safari, look no further than Meijo Safaris. We booked our 11-day honeymoon safari across Kenya and Tanzania with them, and every single detail was executed to perfection. The customer care was outstanding from start to finish. They took the initiative to coordinate with our lodges, giving us wonderful honeymoon surprises during our stay—particularly at Kibo Safari Camp and Serengeti Ark Safari Lodge. Coming back after long game drives to these heartwarming romantic setups made our trip feel so extra special.
Our Kenya guide, Victor, was amazing. He was extremely attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making our time in Amboseli unforgettable. Victor's ability to locate giant elephant herds up close while sharing fascinating details about animal behavior made every game drive exciting and educational.
Our Tanzania guide, Gebi, was equally brilliant in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Beyond his flawless animal tracking skills and sharp eyes for spotting wildlife, he blew us away with his daily lunch setups. Instead of typical cold lunch boxes, Gebi provided hot, delicious meals served on a full picnic table right in the middle of the bush, which was such an awesome upgrade to our safari routine.
Everything from lodge selections to seamless border transfers was managed flawlessly by Meijo Safaris. We left East Africa with lifelong memories, incredible wildlife photos, and immense gratitude. Thank you to the whole team, Victor, and Gebi for giving us the trip of a lifetime!

Fantastic experience, worry-free trip, unforgettable for honeymoon
We had a fantastic experience! Our Guide/Driver Hermann was very professional and made sure we had an amazing time. He was incredible at spotting the wildlife, and kept looking for animals every moment from the beginning to the end for us to make sure we are happy. He also took care of everything during our trip. The hotels were all lovely - the food was great and we had a lunch hamper from them every day. It was an amazing experience to have lunch on safari with great food quality. Because I’m Japanese, I was so happy to have a nice Tanzanian rice dish for lunch every day, which our guide requested from the hotel - Very kind of him. The booking process was very smooth and they gave us professional care until end of the tour by the operations team. Whenever we had a question, they replied and followed up very quickly. We are so happy we decided to choose Meijo and traveled with them. Huge thanks them for making our honeymoon so special!

We booked a safari journey with Meijo for our honeymoon. We informed Meijo that the idea was to have a private safari for our honeymoon and they were very flexible. Ramadhan was available to discuss options and adapt the standard honeymoon safari they sell. The have chosen the lodges that we wanted to stay during the safari amongst the suggestions provided by Meijo and we were very satisfied with all options. They were great lodges! We also booked an extra night in an hotel to rest before the safari without any problem and they give you a guide to Tanzania that has all you need to know to enjoy the experience. We loved the experience and totally recommend it! Our guide was Abdul and he truly was incredible. A special praise to Abdul! He is clearly an experienced guide, very reliable and professional and also a very good company for a long journey such a safari of 5 days. We got to see incredible animals from very close and sometimes we would suggest to wait in a given place and he was always right in his intuition because in those moments animals got really closer! (Always in safety of course). It was a lifetime experience! There is nothing I would change! Thank you Abdul and Meijo team! I will recomend you every time.
