Unforgettable rainy-season safari with an amazing guide and incredible wildlife moments.
We had a wonderful time and saw a lot of animals. Our tour guide, Kapande, was amazing and told us many very interesting things about them. He always made sure we had everything we needed. The tour was fantastic – we were there during the rainy season, which made it a real adventure. At one point, the roads were blocked, but Kapande found a great solution 😄

Very knowledgeable and thoroughly professional
Excellent safari, was thoroughly enjoyed, covering 2 different national park full day safari to Mikumi and Narrere as well as Masai tour, walking tour and boat safari, saw an amazing diversity of wildlife including 4 of the big 5 available to be seen there. Our tour guide Kapande made this 5 day safari outstanding, having great knowledge and ability to answer any questions about wildlife asked. I would thoroughly recommend this company for anyone planning a safari in tanzania.

Professional and friendly company, prompt response to questions, would definitely recommend
We did a 3 day safari with Uwander tours and safari’s at the end of May 2026, it was amazing from start to finish. We stayed at Selous safari lodge , the lodges were spacious and extremely clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and Dorcas was very accommodating and knowledgeable with me been Gluten free (Coeliac) the food was amazing and plentiful. Rafael and Pori were our safari adventure guides, they were friendly and so accommodating to us, Rafael was so knowledgeable and was always happy to answer any questions that we had, always polite and very respectful. Pori was an amazing driver and always made sure we had the best photo opportunity position , we would definitely recommend the company to our friends and family, and we can’t thank Rafael and Pori enough for making this Safari experience something we will never forget 😊😊

Absolutely amazing experience
We could not have been happier with the tour. It exceeded all of our expectations. Our guide, Kapande, was absolutely brilliant, and made sure we had some truly extraordinary experiences on safari. Really impressed with the value for money of the tour, and communications from the company, but Kapande really made this an incredible safari. We will definitely book again!

Fantastic tour and guide
We booked a 5 day tour with Uwanda to visit Mikumi National Park and Nyerere National Park. Our guide Kapande was absolutely fantastic! His knowledge of the roads and the parks was unbelievable. He also knows the animals so well he would position the truck perfectly or tell us to wait when we thought they had gone as he knew they would come round again. He was really friendly and accommodating the whole time. Can't recommend him and the whole experience enough.

very good
we went on 3 days safari which was perfectly organized. The walking safari is a nice suplement to the stay which shows the bush and the forest environment in a great deal of details and with a bit of entertainment and drama :)

Incredible 2-day safari in Selous, highly recommended!
From the very first moment, the booking process was seamless. They were incredibly responsive on WhatsApp and very flexible, tailor-making the itinerary to perfectly match our wishes instead of sticking to a rigid plan.
On the safari itself, our driver and guide were exceptional. They were highly skilled, patient, deeply knowledgeable, and spoke great English. They were always attentive to our requests and did everything to make sure we had the best possible experience.
The attention to detail and personal touch made all the difference. We felt safe, pampered, and completely taken care of throughout the entire trip. The accommodation they picked for us was fantastic, and the transition from the airport straight into the safari was perfectly coordinated. Highly recommended!
