Attentive tour operator
We had a great experience with this company from start to finish. They were very attentive and provided all the information we needed clearly and promptly. Everything included in our contract, including internal flights, hotels and park arrangements, was delivered as agreed, and we had no problems at all. Jackson also checked in with us during the safari to make sure everything was going well, which was a lovely touch.
The safari itself was amazing, and we were incredibly lucky with both the wildlife and our guide, John! He is very experienced and has an excellent eye for spotting animals, even from a distance. He also understands their movements very well and always tried to position the vehicle in the best possible place for photos and viewing.
John was also a careful and attentive driver, especially during the longer journeys. He was friendly, patient and attentive, explaining the places we passed and always checking that we were comfortable and enjoying the experience.
Our vehicle had no problems at all, which was particularly reassuring as we saw several other safari vehicles breaking down along the way.
We would definitely recommend this company and, especially, John as a guide. We had an unforgettable safari experience!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience
My partner and I booked an 11-day safari with Top Selected Tours and had an unforgettable experience overall.
Our guides, John and Emanuel, made the safari truly special. John was an exceptional guide who listened to what we wanted to see and always managed to find our favorite animals. His knowledge of wildlife and landscapes made every game drive exciting and educational. Emanuel prepared delicious meals every day and took great care to accommodate our vegetarian diet.
Unfortunately, there were some organizational at the beginning of the trip (before we met our guides). Despite these issues, the safari itself was outstanding thanks to John, Emanuel, and the other guides. With better communication and organization, the experience could have been perfect.

One of the most important things for us was to have a good communication and receive all the most important information before the departure, Adabert explained us everything clearly and precisely. Since from the first day of Safari Nurdin and Joshua were very helpful and well-prepared, explaining everything to us about the history of the places we visited and the characteristics of the animals we encountered along the way. Their knowledge of the area was truly exceptional.

Unforgettable Safari with John!
Our multi-day safari was an absolute dream come true, and a huge part of the magic was thanks to our fantastic guide, John.
From day one, John was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and warm-hearted. He is also an expert driver who navigates the bumpy savannah tracks with total safety and skill, always making sure we had the best spots for viewing and photography.
Thanks to his deep knowledge of the park, we saw an incredible abundance of wildlife. We witnessed the breathtaking Great Migration of the wildebeest in the Northern Serengeti -a truly awe-inspiring spectacle of nature. On top of that, we spotted many animals, a lot of lions, and had the ultimate highlight: coming across a stunning mother cheetah with her four tiny cubs playing peacefully in the grass!
It was an extraordinary adventure from start to finish. If you are planning a safari, definitely ask for John!

Tanzania and its wildlife is beautiful, seeing animals in their habitat is breathtaking. Organization was super, but what I appreciated the most has been our guide John: professional and capable - he knows everything you want to know, and he’s the kind of person who instantly makes you feel safe, comfortable, and at home.

Amazing 9-day safari with John – highly recommended!
We had an amazing safari, travelling from Arusha all the way to the Northern Serengeti and back, and I could not have asked for a better guide than John.
Thanks to his experience, knowledge of the parks and ability to spot wildlife, we were able to see an incredible number of animals, including many lions and several unforgettable sightings throughout the trip. He always knew where to go and made every safari day interesting and rewarding.
Another aspect that I particularly appreciated was his safe and careful driving. This is something that should not be taken for granted on a safari, especially after hearing very different experiences from some friends who travelled with other guides. With John, we always felt safe, both inside the parks and during the long transfers between destinations.
He was also extremely kind, patient and helpful with all of us throughout the entire nine days. He was always willing to answer our questions, accommodate our requests and give us the time we wanted to enjoy each sighting without ever making us feel rushed.

A Dream Safari Thanks to John and Emanuel
My partner and I booked an 11-day safari with Top Selected Tours, and overall we had an unforgettable experience that we are happy to recommend.
Once we met our guides, the safari became exactly the trip we had been dreaming of. Emanuel, our safari chef, went above and beyond to prepare delicious meals every day and always made sure they suited our needs. We really appreciated the care and effort he put into every meal.
Our guide, John, was exceptional. He listened carefully to what we hoped to see, searched specifically for our favorite animals, and somehow managed to find them every time. His extensive knowledge of the wildlife, animal behavior, and the different landscapes made every game drive both exciting and educational. We always felt safe, well looked after, and benefited greatly from his experience.
While the safari itself exceeded our expectations, there were unfortunately several organizational issues at the beginning of the trip.
After arriving, we were asked to pay unexpected transportation charges that had not been communicated or agreed on in previous emails.
According to our itinerary, the first day was supposed to include a visit to Moshi and an introduction to the safari. Neither of these things happened.
In addition, at the first few lodges we had to contact the company several times because our booked meals had not been included in the bookings and had to be corrected afterwards.
Despite these organizational shortcomings, the safari itself was outstanding thanks to John and Emanuel and all the other guides we met along the journey. With clearer communication and better attention to the arrangements made before the trip, the overall experience would have been perfect.
Amazing Tanzania safari with Top Selected Tours, incredible wildlife, and unforgettable memories!
Our 6 day, 5 night safari with Top Selected Tours was an unforgettable experience. Coming from New Zealand, I spent a lot of time researching the right company, wanting to choose a trusted operator while also supporting local, and we’re so glad we chose them!
Everything was so well organised from the start, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the journey. Our itinerary took us through Lake Manyara, Lake Natron, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park, with each destination offering something unique, from stunning landscapes to incredible wildlife encounters.
We were lucky enough to see the major drawcard animals, along with lots of others!
A special thank you to Jackson, who truly made the trip exceptional. His knowledge, passion, and dedication were outstanding. He went above and beyond to help us spot wildlife and shared so many fascinating insights along the way. His enthusiasm and love for what he does really enhanced the whole experience.
The accommodation was excellent throughout, the food was good, and everything ran smoothly. We always felt well looked after and appreciated the care taken in every detail.
We are so grateful to the Top Selected Tours team, and especially Jackson, for an experience we will never forget. I highly recommend them to anyone dreaming of a Tanzanian safari this truly was the adventure of a lifetime!

6 day safari
Did a 6 day (5 night) safari with Jackson from Top Selected tours. We have travelled from New Zealand so this was a once in a lifetime trip, Jacksons experience and animal knowledge definitely fulfilled our expectations and more. Everything from the car to accommodation was outstanding.
