Incredible
5/5

I had an incredible experience with Porpucine Safaris in Tanzania. This is a local family-run company that truly cares about the people they host — you feel right away that you’re more than just a client.

Our guide, Anwar, completely transformed the safari. With over 30 years of experience, his knowledge of wildlife and nature felt endless. He’s passionate, always eager to share what he knows, and also very attentive to vehicle maintenance — which is absolutely essential in places like Serengeti.

During the trip, I had some health issues and was supposed to stay in a tent, but they arranged for me to sleep in a lodge instead, without charging me extra. In the condition I was in, that was priceless. The next morning, I even forgot my raincoat at the lodge, and although we were already 4 hours away, the manager from Porpucine made every effort to try and recover it. Their care and attention to detail truly stood out.

I highly recommend Porpucine Safaris to anyone looking for an authentic safari experience, guided by people who are passionate about their work and genuinely care for their guests.

considerate and friendly
5/5

Upon arriving at the airport, I was warmly greeted by staff who efficiently handled my check-in and provided clear, friendly briefings. The driver was already waiting, ready to load luggage and assist with any immediate needs. Throughout the process, the team responded to messages and inquiries almost instantly, making everything seamless. After the safari, they kindly arranged for the driver to take me to a local souvenir market, ensuring I could bring back special memories from the trip.

Perfect experience from the begining till the end
5/5

Best compagny for a safari. They are a family compagny and they give all they can for making sure that you will have a perfect experience from the begining to the end. They have amazing guide who know how to spot animals in every park and they are explaining a lot of nice facts. I did a lot of research to find a perfect compagny for my safari and I took the good one. They are also offering a really good price for what you have. We saw all the big five, a lot of lions actually.

You are so kind and affectionate
5/5

I'm here for the happiest of travelers. It's amazing.

You suspected manipulation because all the reviews are 5-stars, right? I was like that too, haha.

But don't worry! Since their main clientele is Europeans, they seem to give them almost all 5-star ratings.

And I highly recommend this tour company!!
The owner is incredibly friendly and creates a comprehensive tour. If you have any concerns or schedule concerns, he'll try his best to accommodate them.

However, as the name suggests, this is a budget tour. Unlike other tours costing millions of won, you'll actually sleep in tents in the grasslands. This is unavoidable if you want to avoid spending millions of won on a Serengeti Plains tour. Many people underestimate the value of tents and end up disappointed, so I'm letting you know in advance!

And the food at the accommodations is delicious. The chef seems to be quite skilled. The Arusha accommodations are also clean and spacious.

In short, if you don't mind staying in a tent, you won't find a better tour than this one. However, if you don't want to, I recommend spending more money! (It'll cost you about 500,000 to 600,000 won more.)

Have a great trip!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Unforgettable Safari Experience — Worth Every Cent and More!
5/5

I rarely write long reviews, but this safari team truly deserves one.

What I experienced with them was far beyond a “tour” , it was a journey filled with care, professionalism, excitement, and memories that will stay with me forever.
Let me share my full experience in detail:

1) Airport pick-up & drop-off , the kind of warmth that makes you feel safe instantly

The moment I landed, the Ms.Juneal was already waiting for me at the airport.
That first “Welcome!” gave me a strong sense of security, especially when you’re in a foreign country.

After the safari, they also sent me back to the airport safely.
This simple gesture already showed me how seriously they take every guest’s wellbeing.

Sometimes safety is not about expensive vehicles, but about the feeling that someone is genuinely taking care of you.
And they did exactly that.

2) Their attention to detail is on another level

During the trip, they handed me binoculars so I could see animals clearly, and even gave me a pillow to use in the tent.
These might sound small, but when you're out in the wild, these “small” things become big comforts.

To me, these details show one thing ,
they treat you like a friend, not just a customer.

Not many tour companies will think of these little things.
But they do ,without you even asking.

3) The chef is a hidden gem , every meal made my heart warm

I must highlight the food.
Super delicious, generous portions, and freshly prepared with real effort.

The chef even traveled together with us to the campsites just to cook for us,
that level of commitment is hard to find.

Every meal felt like a treat after a long adventure.
It wasn’t just food , it was comfort, warmth, and love served on a plate.

4) Their service deserves 10 🌟 start🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What touched me the most is how responsive and patient they were.
As long as they had internet and weren’t sleeping, they would reply to every question ,
even my strange or last-minute ones. 😂

Honestly, sometimes I felt like I was not the easiest guest to handle.
But they never once showed impatience.
Instead, they treated me with sincerity, care, and respect.

Good service is rare nowadays.
But this team gives exceptional service, from the heart.

5) And now… the star of the entire journey: Mr. Julia

I don’t even know where to begin.
This man is a legend.🌟🌟🌟

He’s not just a guide.
He’s not just a driver.
He’s a true wildlife expert with passion burning in his eyes.

He brought us to see lions ,my “friends,” as I call them , and he ensured we didn’t miss any of the must-see animals.
But what impressed me most is his determination.
When everyone in the car was tired…
when the sun was hot…
when it seemed like there was nothing left to find…

He continued searching.
And searching.
And searching.

Not because we asked.
But because he genuinely wanted us to experience the best of the safari.

He knew we loved big herds and rare animals , so he made it his mission to find them for us.
His passion, professionalism, and energy were unmatched.

I’ve traveled to many countries, joined many tours…
but guides like him are one in a million.

Because of him, this safari became a story I will tell for the rest of my life.

6) A small, humble town , but full of soul and unforgettable memories

This place may not be the richest, but the people have big hearts.
The culture, the warmth, the simplicity , it all touched me deeply.

The safari wasn’t just about animals.
It was about experiencing a whole different world…
a world that moves slower, feels more sincere, and connects you back to nature.

This trip reminded me of the beauty of life’s simple joys , the wind in your face, the grasslands stretching endlessly, animals moving freely…

These are things money cannot buy.

⭐ Final Thoughts ,You Deserve This Experience

If you’re considering a safari, trust me:
you will not regret choosing this team.

They gave me safety.
They gave me comfort.
They gave me unforgettable memories.
They gave me a journey that filled my heart.

I left with a full camera, a full stomach, and a full heart.

Highly, highly recommended. 100% satisfied. Will definitely return.🍏💙🩷❤️

They really care about your well-being.
5/5

I started my tour the day it became dangerous to step out on the streets with all the protests about the presidential election ; I felt safe throughout the 10 days I spent with this tour operator. I felt welcomed and protected like a new family I was joining at the hotel I stayed. I enjoyed all the activities included in this tour.
