Our safari exceeded every expectation, and that was largely thanks to our incredible guide Samuel. From the very first day, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and landscapes.
Samuel was patient, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about what they do, making every game drive exciting and educational. We felt safe and well looked after throughout the entire trip, and their warm personality made the experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to Samuel, we were fortunate enough to see the Big Five as well as many unforgettable wildlife encounters.
This wasn't just a safari—it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would recommend them to anyone visiting Tanzania. Thank you for giving out family memories that we will treasure forever!

Thanks to his experience, we saw an amazing variety of wildlife in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara National Parks.

Best safari experiencw for first timers
We had an amazing safari experience and couldn’t have asked for a better trip. What made it even more special was that we chose a small local company—they were incredibly professional, friendly, and truly cared about making sure we had the best experience possible.
A special thank you to our guide, Champion. He had an incredible eye for wildlife and spotted so many animals that we would have completely missed on our own. His knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm made every game drive exciting. He was also extremely helpful, kind, and always made us feel comfortable throughout the trip.

The best experience!
The whole experience was incredible. This was the trip of a lifetime and I am glad that Safari Smile was the operator and that Samuel was our driver.
He was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also always attentive with us and generous with other drivers when they needed help along the way.
We were able to see so many animals because of the routes he would take us on, which were ones the other drivers would not typically take.
Overall, for me it was a 10/10 experience and would 100% recommend.

Professional and well organized
We had an amazing safari experience in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and a big part of that was thanks to Samuel. From the very beginning, we always felt safe with him. It was clear that his 15 years of experience made a huge difference.
Samuel never needed a GPS and always knew exactly where to go without getting lost. Instead of simply following the other safari vehicles, he relied on his own knowledge and experience, which meant we avoided the crowds and enjoyed a much more peaceful safari. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see an incredible variety of animals, including many that other vehicles seemed to miss.
He was always punctual, well organized, professional, and friendly, making the whole trip smooth and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Samuel to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. He truly made our trip unforgettable.

Safari bliss
What an amazing experience!
We travelled as a group of 6 friends, 3 couples in our 50’s and 60’s. We planned a safari to see a few of the main Tanzania parks, Tarangire, Ngorongoro conservation area, and Serengeti (central, and the northern part close to river Mara). While up north we also went on a lovely balloon ride at sunrise!
Serengeti Smile and their tour expert Godian were super responsive, professional and efficient, helping us plan the itinerary to suit our interests, offering prompt support throughout the trip (including visa questions, airport transfers when required), and organising excellent accommodation and the balloon ride.
The safari itself was an incredible adventure, our driver and guide Champion Gody made sure that every day brought new amazing sights - he is the best wildlife spotter! Calm, patient, knowledgeable, he guided us through these amazing 6 days of Tanzania safari experience. It truly felt like the trip of a lifetime, and this was due to Champion’s approach and experience.
The Serengeti Classic View and the Migration tent camps were extremely comfortable, had excellent food and amazing welcoming staff (especially Denis the Migration camp manager who talked to us about their solar power and how the camp can be easily demounted and moved, leaving no trace in the natural park!)
We would definitely recommend Serengeti Smile, we’d all come back to the same company and guide for another trip, to southern Serengeti!
Fantastic safari experience with a highly skilled and professional driver - Barnabas
Really great experience, our driver Barnabas made sure we saw all the animals in great viewing spots.
Including countless lions, leopards, cheetahs, the great migration etc. Barnabas was very skilled navigating the rough terrain and knew exactly what to do when we had vehicle troubles.
