Honeymoon with safari in Tanzania and beach relaxation at Seychelles
The Luxury Safari Company made our honeymoon beyond what we could have dreamed about. The service from day one has been extrodinary with great follow up service pre departure, during the vacation and after. The service has been personal and very professional. I would highly recommend the company to others wanting a personal process with very good knowledge about different lodges, destinations and time of year to travel where.

Rose looks after every detail - dream adventure for us!
Rose and her team were beyond efficient. Any query during the planning process was answered immediately, we always felt in very capable hands, which was important because we were flying half way around the world for an adventure of a life time!
AND WE GOT IT!
We stayed in Nairobi the first night at:

It was so beautiful. When we arrived at 10:30pm, Ruth served us the most delicious roasted red pepper and tomato soup and an avocado-chick pea salad that was to die for! Just perfect, fire going in the room.
The grounds and the dining house were stunning and the breakfast delicious.
The next day our driver met us and took us to the smaller airport and we headed to:
Cottars 1920 Camp
Everything we could ever wish for! Elegant, Old Africa vibe, friendly, great food, looked after our every need. Amazing Masai guides, ours was Enoch, lovely man, these guides know the land and animals, and respect the land and animals, all while showing us incredible sights.
Our tent had such a beautiful view looking out over the savannah, nicely appointed and very private.
We saw a male lion roar and our chests vibrated with the indescribable sound! We saw everything we came for and felt such a connection with Masai Mara.
Hope we can go back one day, and if we do, Luxury Safari Company will be the first place we contact !

Fabulous trip for our family in Zambia and South Africa
It has long been a dream of mine to take my children now aged 19, 21 and 25 on safari. I have been several times but have waited to introduce them to the experience. Having put out an original brief to several operators, Rose was unbelievably quick in response despite the fact that she was in a tent in the bush at the time. By the time she had reworked the itinerary several times, other operators had not even responded.
The trip was superb, great locations which exceeded expectations, with incredible service and staff, and the logistics of the trip completely seamless. At every part we were met by very efficient and friendly guides who whisked us from one place to the next bypassing all sorts of queues we would have endured had we attempted it alone. I would have no hesitation in using the luxury safari company for our next trip and have already recommended them to others. Botswana next time Rose - Im already looking forward to it !

Rose arranged a fantastic South Africa holiday for us. Her hotel and travel itinerary recommendations were spot on and her service is top notch - very responsive and efficient. All the travel arrangements were well taken care of and we had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari and all other accommodation recommended by Rose for our trip.

Absolutely the BEST!
We gave Rose some broad guidelines - dates possible, activities/sense of adventure desired, age of the group ,then left it all to her. We did not even have an idea which country we'd like to go to! I am so glad we just entrusted our itinerary to her judgement and knowledge. Rose put together the most wonderful trip and which pleased all six of us - from the adventurous youths to the sedentary young-at-heart, from the photographers to the active sportsmen. Each camp was different and exciting - all comforts covered. Each guide was wonderful in their own way. I'm afraid the food was also too good to skip so we are all rather heavier coming home than we bargained for!!
Incredible experience!
What a gem! Planning for the 10 days was left to Rose and team, and they did a marvellous schedule giving us a view of both the Khwai as well as the Kalahari. We experienced both private and 'public' areas, as well as the fixed tented and 'camping' experience. They were all superb. Food was great throughout, and the daily safari drives gave us an opportunity to see every animal expected. What I liked most was the simple and concise guides provided that help throughout the trip.
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COASTLINE EVER
We are a family of five and have just come back from two week in Mozambique. We spent eight nights at the Quilalea Private Island Resort which was truly magical. We had two beach villas and enjoyed both our privacy and the very warm welcome from Leon and Claudia, the two general managers. We had whales outside our beach villas, a few lovely dives and my three children / teens were never bored. There was so much to do... snorkel, dive, canoe, paddle board, long walks on the reef at low tide etc. The staff were absolutely wonderful. I hope to return. It is a truly beautiful and welcoming island resort.
After which we spent 4 nights at Vamizi Island (Casa Marajani) . Our beach villa was spectacular but should someone look into Vamizi I would recommend a villa with a pool such as Villa Papilio or Villa Kipila. During the high spring tides there is no beach left. Fiona our hostess was very professional and the food was exceptional. We felt very spoilt but maybe in hindsight it would have been better had we travelled with friends. The coastline and beach are truly amazing. Perfect for a private retreat.
Rose arranged everything perfectly. All the logistics of getting to and from Pemba and the bookings for both resorts and flight times in order to catch the helicopter to Quilalea and the light aircraft to Vamizi. Everything worked perfectly.

Truly Amazing Vacation
This was the first safari trip for our family. We asked Rose to plan a trip of a lifetime and she did!!
Two superb safari camps in Kenya followed by a relaxing few days on a private island in the Seychelles.

30th anniversary trip of a lifetime
30 years ago my wife and I made up our respective "bucket list" trips. Her's was Kenya, mine was the Seychelles Islands. This year, on our 30th wedding anniversary, we reached out to The Luxury Safari Company to combine the two destinations into a trip of a life time. We were thrilled with the result. Our contact Rose developed an itinerary that included two luxury tent safari locations - one in the Lewa conservancy and the second in Masai Mara - that were uniquely memorable. We still talk about that segment of the trip and review our photos and videos a week after returning from our trip. After Kenya we jetted off to the Seychelles Islands and had a wonderfully relaxing week at the Six Senses Zil Pasyon resort. It was a perfect seque from the dawn to dusk safari schedule to chill out for a week in a luxury villa and the beaches of the Seychelles. We would not have changed a thing and we owe this memorable experience to Rose and team at The Luxury Safari Company.
