Extremely unprofessional Safari - I recommend you do not book
My sister and I booked a safari with Utopia Safari, guided by owner Exude. and it was a complete disaster from start to finish.
* From the very beginning our driver failed to pick us up, and Exude offered one excuse after another.
*Exaud was unprepared - not hat , no bug spray ( we shared ours)and even delivered us to the wrong location for our overnight of which he as to see our itinerary to know where to take us.
*During the safari, he was distracted by business calls and focused on his camera and other toys rather than the experience he was supposed to provide
* He admitted this was his first safari in a while because he had been working mostly in the office marketing.
*We were taken to the wrong location , again, mid-safari, and he blamed the government and the company for not notifying him of site relocation, showing a complete lack of preparation. We inquired to be told an emails are sent 2 months in advance with relocation notification.
*Our safety was ignored as he led us through challenging terrain without consideration of risk resulting in my sister's injury.
*To top it off he dropped us at the airport only to be told we were a day late and missed our departure flights.
These are only a sprinkle of incidences. Exude claimed to see a memorable safari "EXPERIENCE" , but all we received was a disorganization, distraction and negligence. When we requested a 50% refund, he insultingly offered only 20%. While he may know about animals, that knowledge ends there - he cannot run a professional safari business.
I strongly advise anyone considering Utopia Safari to look elsewhere. This experience cost us time, money and peace of mind.

We relied on UTOPIA SAFARI for all transfers and trips to Zanzibar, Arusha and Safari. There were some inconveniences but Reginald and his staff were always available and present. They were good travel companions , above all they gave us security..

Our honeymoon in Tanzania was incredible, all thanks to the meticulous planning by Utopia Safari. Everything was perfectly organized, from the venue arrangements to the transfers and the selection of hotels. Every detail was taken care of, allowing us to fully enjoy our trip without any worries. Expensive and unjustified
The price compared to competitors was expensive. The accommodation is mediocre (there was no hot water some nights) and the food is mediocre.

Amazing and charming
Our guide was Exaud
An excellent and highly professional guide with a very charming personality. Has extensive knowledge about nature: vegetation, animals, their lifestyles and behavior, etc., as well as having extensive knowledge about the existing population; The different tribes, their traditions, their ways of life, etc. In addition to that, he knows every road and path in an extraordinary way. He is very sociable and attentive to the passengers' needs and requests. He is very good with logistics, he is connected with many guides and knowledgeable sources who update him in real time on the whereabouts of the animals and nature events.
Also Chris , his assistant , was a great guy very helpful with a great personality and he is very knowledgeable .

Best trip

Everything was perfectly organized: transfers, park fees, accommodation, food.

Excellent service to the last detail!
I travelled with a few friends from Germany with Utopia Safaris. The communication with Mr. Exaud starting from the planning phase until my departure was seamless and I was always assured of the best and the best is what I received!
Each individual as well as group requirement was taken care of -upto the last detail. For example, the team updated our family and friends back home about our daily itinerary along with pictures which not only helped our loved ones share some of our experiences virtually but also be aware of our whereabouts. The tour guides were friendly and experienced, always up for a good chat and a laugh. Each part of the Safari be it Tarangire, Ngorongoro or Serengeti was simply magical. We definitely left as friends at the end of the Safari. Post the safari, I was travelling alone in Zanzibar. Mr. Exaud and his team in Zanzibar, ensured that I was comfortable until my departure.
Utopia Safaris promised us the time of our life and delivered on that promise! I would highly recommend organising your time in Tanzania with the lovely team at Utopia.

Authentic East African Tour Company!
Mr. Exaud and his team at Utopia met all our expectations and then some!
We were a group of 8 adults from Germany and Utopia somehow managed to meet all our individual and group requirements whilst curating our Northern Tanzania Safari packages (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara & Serengeti).
Speaking as a born and raised Tanzanian myself, I appreciated the warm Tanzanian hospitality, attention to detail, overall value for money and experienced tour guides! The communication before, during and even after the end of our safari was top notch and I can earnestly say we all had the time of our lives!
I do not see myself booking my next Safari with anyone else. Thank you so much Utopia!

Grate experience
We went with Terry, the owner of the company for a 5 day safari. We received his recommendation from a journalist. The tour was interesting and fascinating. In order to experience the safari in the best way and to see the landscape and the animals, the name of the game is to be in the right place at the right time. Terry's ability is virtuoso. managed to bring us to the heart of the animal migration, in places that most guides do not know. We were able to see the animals, the predators and the prey in action. It was spectacular. His acquaintance with the wild animals is almost intimate. The experience was great.
