Amazing!
I just had an incredible safari experience that exceeded all expectations.
The organization was impeccable, from start to finish. Steve has organized the entire trip from Zanzibar to Dar Er Salaam, then up to Mikumi National Park for three days. Took the SGR train to Morogoro and stayed 2 nights in Bastian lodge.
A special shout-out to my amazing guides, Erman, who were incredibly available and kind throughout the entire trip. Their expertise truly made the game drives unforgettable.
It was genuinely an experience I will never forget. In fact, I'm already planning my next one to Serengeti!

Steve organized train, transport to-, and from the train-station, accommodations, and water for us.
Steve cooperated with other guides, so we could witness all the exotic wildlife Mikumi national park had to offer.
Steve is an expert in his field, and shared facts and stories from 10 years of experience.
With Steve’s eyesight of an eagle, he saw wildlife in the horizon. If we didn’t hear from the guides, Steve would see something.
We got to experience elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras, and even lion female, male and cubs up close, only a few meters from the car!

Terrible customer service.
We believe we have been scammed by Kima Safaris. We had planned and booked a trip in the start of november 2025, but due to problems regarding the election in Tanzania, Steven told us to cancel the safari due to safety. He told assured us that all the money would be refunded, but to this day (23.02.26), nothing has been refunded. They still owe us 4600USD.
In the beginning he would answer my calls and messages, and told us that he would pay by the end of the month etc. but everytime the date he said he would pay us back was due, nothing was refunded. Now, he wont even pick up the phone and answer my calls or message me back, so we believe they have scammed us and would strongly reccomend everyone to stay AWAY from Kima Safaris Tanzania.

Professionel, friendly and accommodating
Everything was really great and that we enjoyed our time at Mikumi NP & game drives a lot !! The organization of the tour, and upfront communication with Steven was great, Steven was very friendly and reliable and even organized a Taxi from the airport on the day before starting the Safari, and the ferry ticket to Zanzibar right after the trip!!
Naza, our tour guide at Mikumi, was a great guide, friendly, funny and knowledgeable, and we were able to see all the cool animals - including lions (a family with babies ☺️)👍
