Jonathan was absolutely incredible in every way imaginable!
Johnathan was amazing as our tour operator. He communicated immediately and was always present when we needed him. He helped us find new activities to do while we were in Victoria falls and helped coordinate everything needed when we wanted to explore the culture of the city. I couldn’t recommend him and the safari company more. Everything about Victoria falls was incredible with a large part of the credit due to Jonathan and the safari company!

African Fairytale Tours makes you feel like family from the moment you arrive.
I initially booked a last minute airport transfer to my hotel with African Fairytale Tours, and from the moment I arrived, I knew I was in great hands. Jonathan was there to greet me, and he was incredibly responsive, professional, and customer service friendly.
What started as a simple airport transfer turned into great conversation and eventually led me to book several activities in Vic Falls and the surrounding area.
I always felt safe, well taken care of, and informed throughout my experience. The activities were well organized, and the service providers they arranged were excellent.
A huge thank you to Jonathan, Matthew, Mr. B and the entire team for making my time in Vic Falls so memorable. I highly recommend African Fairytale Tours and would absolutely use them again!

Amazing experience from start to finish! High quality service!!
What an amazing experience with this company. From the very start everyone was attentive, friendly and very helpful. The itinerary was exactly as planned and the staff always made sure we were picked up (if using an external company for safari for example). Even at 4:30am they came to ensure we were picked up for our morning game drive. I would highly highly recommend African Fairytale Tours and i will certainly be using them again in the future when i visit the southern africa region.

Great service, great tours, and great guides
Jonathan and Matthew were great to work with. They were there every step of the way. I wanted some very specific things on my tour (more local experiences, more safari experiences, etc), and Jonathan catered our experience to those. They felt more like friends than tour guides. I would definitely recommend them.

Very quick responses and provided everything we asked for
We knew we wanted to do Victoria Falls (both sides) and Chobe National Park (Botswana). There was no package tour that I could find that would do everything we wanted. Many emails later, we finally had the holiday which was perfect for us. They organised pick up from airport (Johannesburg to Victoria Falls), allowed us to book our own accommodation at Victoria Falls, they booked our tour to Vic Falls (Both sides), tour of a village in Zambia, boma dinner, Safari in Zimbabwe, visit to see Lions, River sunset cruise, Helicopter ride, transfer from Zimbabwe, to Botswana, Accommodation in Botswana (which was a 10/10), 2 Safari's, one boat river cruise to see more wildlife, Day trip to Namibia to see a local town, transfer back to airport. All very reasonably priced, just for us, apart from the safari's which of course were other people. Our flight was cancelled and they simply moved our transfer from Botswana to Victoria Falls International Airport by 24 hours without any hassle at all. If we return to Africa, I will definitely be contacting Jonathan again, he was a 10/10.

Jonathan was amazing as he knew our requirements and ensured that they were taken into consideration
What an amazing time we had in Victoria Falls and Botswana. Jonathan was able to organise fantastic accommodation, an amazing Guide, Locks for the Victoria Falls excursion and an amazing Safari Guide, Moshe for the Chobe National Park Safaris (we ended up doing 3 Safaris in the end). As we were a crew of 3 travelling together, our ages varied; we were aged 50, 73 and 82 years old. When planning our holiday, Jonathan took this into consideration; difference in our ages and abilities to join the activities/excursions. Also, as 2 of the 3 travellers are Coeliacs, Jonathan ensured that the food was suitable to eat at each Lodge and ensuring that when we went out for Lunch or Dinner, they were aware of our requirements. Upon arrival in Victoria Falls, we stayed 2 nights at "The Shrub Lodge" and then the following 2 nights were at the "Kwalape Safari Lodge" in Botswana. After our National Park Safaris, and the Chobe River Cruise, we returned back to Victoria Falls, for another 2 nights at "The Shrub Lodge". Staff at both Lodges were amazing, extremely polite, and helpful. To be honest, when we left "The Shrub Lodge" it was hard to say goodbye, as over the 4 nights we stayed, the staff became like family. I may have had tears in my eyes when I got into the vehicle to leave. Each time we went out, we felt safe and confident that if we needed anything, Jonathan would be able to assist us.
At this point, I’ll be planning another holiday with Jonathan to return to Victoria Falls, Botswana and to see what other adventures he can suggest for me and the crew. I’m also going to see if any other friends or family want to join the adventure.

5 ⭐️ Truly Personalized Family Experience
We were extremely happy with our entire Zimbabwe trip, and honestly wish we could have extended our stay. We booked Jonathan after reading the reviews, and I’m so glad we trusted our instincts because he did not disappoint. Jonathan is a superb planner—very responsive, organized, and thoughtful in every detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely special as a family.
All our transfers were private, never shared, and the vans were spotless and comfortable. Every ride was prompt, and all the connections and handoffs between tours were incredibly smooth. His tour guide, Mr. T, was just as warm and accommodating. Our family felt secure, cared for, and well-guided throughout the entire trip.
They even helped us with border crossings and navigating the immigration lines, which made a huge difference and took away so much stress. Jonathan’s quote was also very well priced compared to other operators. I sometimes worry when a company has only a handful of reviews, but this time I’m grateful I followed my gut—Jonathan exceeded every expectation.
