Well organized. Smooth connections from landing at Kilimanjaro through to departure from Zanzibar.
5/5

We asked for a mix of mid-range and luxury that was a little different from the usual packages and I chose Orege because they gave the best, most detailed proposal, and got important details right like the 1am pick up to go to the airport. Orege was flexible with modifying the original plan and over the weeks before the trip they answered all my small preparation questions. The trip itself was excellent. All the accommodation was as expected and all the linkages worked, i.e., we were met at the airport, all the camps expected us, when we needed an extra guide it was smoothly arranged, our tickets to Zanzibar were ready and waiting, and our driver in Zanzibar met us immediately and was flexible with times (we used WhatsApp to text).
We went in mid-March, towards the end of the rainy season. We had one evening of rain, and it was occasionally cloudy, but it was very good to be in the low season without the crush.
Our safari driver was Deo, who did an excellent job of getting us in front of lions (actually, inches away from lions) and was enthusiastic and inexhaustible in guiding us around Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Clearly a man on a mission. It was great.

Deo went above and beyond!
5/5

Deo was our guide on our honeymoon safari in Dec 2023. We loved our time with him! He was prepared with everything we could need (waters, lunches, etc.) and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. He was super knowledgeable and we learned so much! He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see and get the best pictures. He was up for early mornings and long days of driving. We appreciated that he checked in with us often about making a plan for the day to make it the best trip possible.

Amazing experience!
5/5

Our safari with Orege was amazing from start to finish! Everything was planned and taken care of for us, and we were able to sit back and enjoy. Our driver, Deo, was fantastic and made sure we saw all of the animals we were interested in. Overall, it was the trip of a lifetime and we made wonderful memories!

Well-Organized Tour
5/5

This was the trip of a lifetime for me. To see these wild animals up close and see the environment they exist in, is simply wonderful. The safari car drivers knew exactly where to find the animals and were quite knowledgeable and friendly to all. We saw spectacular views on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. The tent camps were luxurious, as in a 5 star hotel, clean and offered excellent food. There was a big variety offered, We were given picnic baskets for the meals during the safari drive. All of our needs were met. I was very impressed. Everyone spoke English everywhere.
I was amazed at the friendliness towards children and the way the tribal people entertained and watched out for them in so many ways.
July is a good month to take this trip because it was wintertime and we had perfect weather.
Gift shops with souvenirs of all sorts are available everywhere along the route. Everyone was friendly.
It is important to know that safari drivers receive tips for every day that they drive, and all those that offer services also expect to be tipped. Facility managers showed us the tip jars at the end of our stay and told us the money would be divided among the workers. We were told that $10-$15 per day, per tourist, was acceptable.
