Definitely disappointed.
We booked our 6 days safari in Tanzania through a partner company of Serengeti Clarity, since we did 1 week in Kenya and 1 week in Tanzania. Being said that, I don't know if it was because we didn't book directly with them, but they sent a very inexperienced guide. We met him at the border at Isebania since we came from Kenya, first thing, he didn't even introduced himself properly. Second, he guided us inside the government building, he took us to Health Services and straight out, he never led us to Immigration Offices, which was a huge legal problem when trying to fly back home, result on us paying for a fine because of his error. We really can't believe he was so inexperience that he didn't even know the right process to cross the border, since this is a very common situation in Tanzania safaris, and we as customers and being our first time in this country we trust the guide the company sent. After this unfortunate event, he drove us to Serengeti National Park, he stopped several times to ask for directions to the park, second red flag for us. At sunset, we finally got to the hotel, but then we realized that was not the hotel the company booked for us, he took us to the wrong hotel, so we had to drive to the right hotel when it was really dark and we didn't feel safe. The next day, our second day with this guide, he just drove without any direction, we asked him to take us see the great wildebeest migration, he took us really far from where the migration was and we didn't get to see it. That day we asked the company to change the guide, he didn't know about animals, he spoke really bad spanish and english, we couldn't really talk to him, aside from everything else. Thankfully our request was heard, and the next day we got a new guide, Kelvin, who is just the best thing that happened to us. Since the very first moment he met us, he introduced himself, he explained the map of the Serengeti, he explained the migration and the took us as close as he could to see it. He is so knowladgable about animals, we learned so much about animal behaviour from him. The rest of our safari was amazing, thanks to Kelvin that goes beyond expectations to make you feel comfortable and safe. On the last day of our safari, driving to the airport, we ran out of gas, Kelvin explained that the company didn't gave him money for gas because they gave it to our first guide and he haven't returned that money yet, which shouldn't affect our safari nor Kelvin since this was not our fault, this was the company's fault to hire such an unsuitable guide. This was our first time booking a guided tour ever, we always travel by ourselves, and it really wasn't a pleasant experience, because you trust the company you hire will give you a good service and this was quite the opposite. Our recommendation and learning from this experience, is to ask the name of the guide, the years of experience he has and reviews from previous customers, to make sure you have someone you can rely on.

Our safari with Serengeti Clarity exceeded every expectation we had. From the incredible wildlife of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater to the seamless organization and warm hospitality, every moment felt thoughtfully planned and deeply personal.
The true highlight of our trip was our guide, Kelvin. He is simply outstanding. His knowledge of the wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts was remarkable, and his ability to spot animals from what seemed like impossible distances left us amazed every single day. Thanks to him, we witnessed unforgettable wildlife encounters that we never would have found on our own.
What made Kelvin exceptional, however, was the heart he brought to our experience. He didn’t just guide us through Tanzania—he introduced us to it. He shared stories about local traditions, culture, daily life, history, and his own experiences, giving us a genuine appreciation for the country and its people. Those conversations became some of our favorite memories of the trip.
Kelvin also added thoughtful personal touches throughout our journey, always making sure we were comfortable, answering every question with enthusiasm, and adapting each day to make it as memorable as possible. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for his work were evident from beginning to end.
If you’re looking for more than just a safari—if you want an experience that connects you to the beauty, wildlife, and people of Tanzania—I cannot recommend Serengeti Clarity enough. And if you have the opportunity to request Kelvin as your guide, don’t hesitate. He turned an amazing vacation into the trip of a lifetime.

Serengeti Clarity provided exceptional customer service. Kagoma was very patient and responsive to all my questions and concerns about the Safari booking. Frank, the owner, also answered any additional concerns I had in a timely manner. I mentioned this was a birthday trip during our booking and was disappointed nothing was planned or acknowledged when we started our safari. However, when I reached out to Frank during the middle of my safari, he made a point to have something planned and ready when we returned back to Arusha. I appreciated that. I also liked that we had the option of paying the remaining balance in person instead of before arrival like many other tour companies. They also did not add additional fuel surcharges due to the current world events after the agreed price while I heard other companies did. Serengeti Clarity also offered the best and fair price compared to others.
Our guide Emmanuel was a very experienced, cautious and safe driver. He cleaned the car daily which was much needed due to the dusts. Emmanuel knew all the roads and turns inside the parks without getting lost which was very impressive. He was flexible and accommodating with what we wanted to see and do. He provided education on many animals and other species. Emmanuel was also on time every day for our games. We did games from early morning to late afternoon with no rush to head back to our accommodations. Emmanuel was kind, patient and reassured us that he was able to drive us to the airport for our late night departure which was very much appreciated. Emmanuel provided exceptional service!
We only had one issue which was the car. We were shown pictures of the car beforehand because it was important that we would have a comfortable car for our long journey. When we arrived to pay the balance in person, the office told us the 4x4 didn’t have AC. While the weather was not exceptionally hot, the AC would have been helpful when we needed to keep the windows closed due to the dusts, especially in Serengeti. Instead, we had to keep rolling the windows up and down to avoid dusts or to get air. Also, when we were driving through the clouds on top of the Ngorongoro crater, it was dangerous due to the windows getting foggy without the AC. The seats had no armrests so it was hard to hold on to something when most of the roads are unpaved and extremely bumpy during the games. Most of the seatbelts also did not work. The car was tough though and was able to get through the rough roads and water streams. Again, Emmanuel’s driving skills came in very handy with this car.
The car had a charging station in the front, cooler, backseat pockets, bag for garbage, radio for your music and pop up top for viewing. WiFi didn’t work at the start of our journey but we didn’t really need it because we were busy with the games. WiFi did work on our way back to Arusha.
Overall, we visited Tarangire National Park, Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater for 6 days. We saw the big 5, the ugly 5 and many other species. We also saw a kill and feedings. This was an experience we will never forget and we will definitely consider booking with Serenity Clarity again in the future. We met another couple during our hot air balloon ride who shared their negative experience about their guide and tour company and I’m glad we did not have to go through that. We would recommend Serengeti Clarity to others!

I will forever be greatful for the wonderful experience Serengeti Clearity has given us. Frank set us up with an incredible 8 day itinerary of the northern part of Tanzania. The stays that Frank had set us up in were beautiful, the food was so delicious, the people very friendly and we learned so much about the animals of Tanzania along with the culture. Our game guide Eric was the best guide that we could have asked for. He was so knowledgable and took so much time to make sure we had the best viewing experience. This trip was way above our expectations. We are truly thankful and blessed to have been able to have this wonderful experience. Thank you!

amazing and unforgetable experience.
The tour guide Chalamila leads us fiding many animals in Seregeti includes lions, elephants, leopard, bufflo and lots of wildbeasts and zebras. The river crossing is incredible, thanks Serengeti Clarity.
