Amazing, local safari tour company with great service
We had an INCREDIBLE trip with Daniel Kisemei, our guide and driver. We took a six-day safari through Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. In the short trip, we saw the Big Five, the Great Migration, and learned a lot about African culture from Daniel, who was born in the Maasai culture. He was extremely knowledgeable and could identify every animal/bird we saw on our trip. He is well educated on all aspects of Kenyan life, including politics, society, and more. I can't recommend him enough. He is a very sincere, genuine, and hardworking guide who will ensure your travel group has a great and safe experience.
Lencer, our travel coordinator, also did an excellent job. She was very responsive at all times. When a hotel had underdelivered on what was agreed up on, she quickly took action to advocate for us.
Awour Escapades is a great, small safari company. My friends and I would recommend them to any foreigners looking to travel to Kenya.

A perfect safari experience with Awuor Escapades
From start to finish, our safari with Awuor Escapades was absolutely amazing! The organization in advance via WhatsApp with Lencer was smooth and incredibly professional. She always responded immediately, was very solution-oriented, and made the whole process stress-free. She even adjusted our itinerary, suggesting we visit Samburu National Park instead of Amboseli – and looking back, it was the best decision we could have made!
Our 6-day safari took us from Samburu to Lake Nakuru and finally to the incredible Masai Mara. Each destination offered its own unique highlights, and everything ran seamlessly.
A very special thank you goes to our fantastic guide, Nick. He truly made our safari unforgettable. With his experience, patience, and sharp eyes, we were able to see everything we had hoped for – including multiple leopards, lions, cheetahs, and even a spectacular river crossing of the wildebeest. Nick also shared fascinating insights about the animals and the Maasai people, enriching our experience even more.
We are so grateful to Nick and the entire Awuor Escapades team for this unforgettable journey. We’ll definitely be back – and wouldn’t want to travel with anyone else!

Flawless and exceptional at all times
I cannot recommend Awuor Escapades highly enough. My girlfriend and I travelled to Kenya so that I could propose to her, so our plans were more complex and demanding than most - Lencer could not have been more accommodating. She had everything organised, was on call for any assistance and was just generally brilliant.
The value for money was also excellent! We saw so many amazing things on our safaris, with Nick (our driver) managing to find just about every animal.
All in all, the most perfect holiday!

Easy to work with, responsive, and flexible. A great experience.
We experienced the 7-day tour of Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! The trip was organized on short notice and Awuor was responsive and flexible as we worked through changing accommodation availabilities, finalized flight plans, and tour itinerary changes. Before and during the trip, the communication was great at all hours of the day, and it gave me comfort in choosing Awuor as our tour provider. Our tour guide (Robert) was a pleasure and focused on ensuring we had the best experience possible and that we saw all of the action during the game drives. He went out of his way to go out early or stay out late to enjoy the wildlife and that all of the daily details (food, water, check-ins, etc.) were taken care of so we could relax. I thoroughly recommend booking a safari with Awuor Escapades!

Far Exceeded Expectations, Outstanding
Our 4 day 3 night Safari was so full of highlights it is hard to know where to start and cannot be overstated how delighted we were! We were met promptly at our hotel in Nairobi, it was a long but completely worthwhile adventure drive down to the park, through the Great Rift Valley and MaasaiLand. Very meaningful to experience this, which we would have missed had we flown down to a Maasai Mara landing strip. Our accommodations were so great, at Entim Camp and The Cliff (both Wilder Group Properties, very good at what they do) -- Food and drink was top notch, could not have asked for more and all-inclusive. Our Guide & Driver John is a pro, knows where to go, knows the other guides, knows how to make the experience world class -- Of all the animals we could have hoped to see, the only one, the always shy Leopard, was the only big 5 animal we did not see. And seeing a cheetah close up, and Lion with a freshly caught meal, was pretty incredible. The drive from Maasai Mara to Lake Nukuru was fascinating and beautiful, and our Nukuru experience was epic for the animal encounters and for the elegance of The Cliff. Truly a trip of a lifetime. If there is one thing we might improve upon, our LandCruiser was solid but on the old side and given how much time is spent in the vehicle, the interior was feeling its age. Our safari was in mid-late March - Turned out to be a really good time to be there since there are not as many people in the parks at that time and the rainy season had not kicked in yet. We were completely dry and never hot all four days, and the low numbers of safari-goers was a pleasant upside.

Bush and Beach
Very solid tour company. They coordinated all of the details and were always ON TIME. We did a private luxury tour with three people including a two year old and the guides were incredibly patient with them. All of the lodges that were recommended were incredible. Exceptional service and all served high end food but accommodated the bland taste of my two year old. The drivers/ tour guides were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see. Truly a trip of a lifetime

From beginning to end, Awuor Escapades' 5-day Best of Kenya Safari Adventure was amazing. Jonathan was a great guide who offered intriguing insights on Kenya's animals and culture, and Lencer made the booking procedure easy. The pop-up minivan's game drives were exhilarating, with up-close interactions with lions, giraffes, and elephants. The lodgings offered great meals and service and were conveniently placed. We heartily suggest this safari, which was the ideal way to experience Kenya's natural splendor!

Me and my wife recently completed our second trip with Awuor Escapades..!!
Our 8-day Kenyan Golden Savannah Safari with Awuor Escapades was an unforgettable experience! Lencer, our tour consultant, was professional and made booking seamless. Jonathan, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we saw the best of Kenya’s wildlife. The pop-up minivan was comfortable and perfect for game viewing. We explored iconic destinations like Maasai Mara and Amboseli, encountering lions, cheetahs, and massive elephant herds. The accommodations were cozy, with excellent service and delicious meals. Amazing, trip of a lifetime
We used this travel agency to book our safari from Dec-early Jan. We went to Masai Mara, Nakuru, and Amboseli. We worked directly with Lencer who was incredibly accommodating to our every request, question, and comment. When we were in Kenya she and Jonathan our guide and driver met us at the hotel we were staying at and from there we went! The places we stayed were beyond our imagination, the accommodations were amazing, like a dream!
Jonathan was our guide and he was amazing. Seriously, if you can request him you should. He was incredibly knowledgable about the wildlife, super fun to be around, and a great chat. He is also an incredibly skilled driver, no road is too bumpy, no traffic is too dense!! I really can't say enough good things about Jonathan. We saw lions in Amboseli which is rare I am told, and it was all thanks to Jonathan and his understanding of the park & animals!! My husband and I left the trip feeling like we made a new friend. We both miss Kenya and are trying to figure out the next time we can come back, for now ASANTE SANA Lencer & Jonathan for the fantastic trip of a lifetime!

Our driver and guide, Johnathon, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife. He provided fascinating insights and answered all our questions with patience and expertise.
It's important to remember that spotting animals is partly a matter of luck, so we recommend spending a few extra days on the savannah for the best chances. Each evening, we discussed and adjusted the next day's plan with Johnathon based on various factors like weather, road conditions, and our energy levels.
