Trip of a lifetime!
From start to finish everything was perfectly planned and executed. Issa helped us plan the most memorable trip of a lifetime within just a few emails and conversations via Whatsapp! He was always on call and answered all our questions with a smile! Isaac our Guide and Driver for the week was an absolute superstar from day 1! He is so well educated on all animals, plants, birds etc! He made sure we saw every possible animal on our checklist and so much more! We felt safe, taken care of, well fed and always had ice cold water & beers during the Safari Drives. There was absolutely nothing for us to do but just ENJOY the moment we departed from our home country!
The service at every accommodation was impeccable, the stays was so well planned and chosen according to our needs and wants!
I truly cannot recommend Goldfinch Adventures enough! Thank you to the team for making this possible and we will cherish these memories forever!

The trip of a lifetime, thanks to Goldfinch!
I can't recommend this agency highly enough. I am so glad we chose Goldfinch to organise our tour. We spent six days and five nights on our safari, including Northern and Central Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. From the start, Joseph was so helpful and accommodating, looking at different options for our accommodation and making excellent suggestions about the trip. All of his recommendations were spot on - he was a brilliant and very patient tour organiser!
What really stood out for us was the expertise and experience of our guide Eriki. He knew the areas and the wildlife so well, we had some absolutely jaw dropping encounters with the 'big five' but also some wonderful quieter moments, sitting with zebra and giraffe, spotting the little dikdiks, learning about the people and cultures of Tanzania. He was outstanding - so much so that our teenage daughters barely touched their phones for a week!
We chose Goldfinch because they seemed like a smaller operator, and the price was very competitive. I would 100% recommend them - it felt like we arrived as clients and left as friends.

Highly recommended! Safari arrangements were perfect. Magical moments spotting animals
We were very pleased with how Goldfinch Adventures organised our safari and can recommend this operator 200%. Right from the very first point of contact, Joseph was always on hand to answer all our questions and handled the booking of flights and hotels in a very professional manner. The payment process was also quick and easy. Everything went very smoothly! During the safari, we were accompanied by our French-speaking guide, Rama, and our driver, Swahibu. Both were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Swahibu knows the national parks extremely well and knows exactly where to find the animals we were interested in. He also has an incredible eye for spotting them. We had a brilliant time in their company! The lodges were splendid – perhaps even too luxurious for a stay of just one night – and that’s perhaps a bit of a shame, as we didn’t have time to make the most of them. That said, this was down to the pace of the safari and not to any lack of organisation. The only area for improvement – though this isn’t the operator’s fault – is the quality of the lunch boxes and what they contained. This should probably be discussed directly between the operator and the lodges. In any case, this three-day safari experience was exceptional, and you’ll be very lucky indeed to come across Rama and Swahibu.

Exceptional service for an epic safari holiday
We had an absolutely unforgettable safari with Goldfinch, and a huge part of that was thanks to Issa. From the moment we started planning our trip until after we reached Zanzibar, Issa was incredibly responsive, professional, and always one step ahead. Even when we had almost no internet signal in the Serengeti, he kept checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was so reassuring to know someone was always looking out for us.
Our driver, Hosea, was also wonderful. He was knowledgeable, caring, and handled an unexpected flat tire on the way from Ngorongoro to the Serengeti calmly and professionally, making our safety his top priority.
The wildlife sightings were beyond anything we could have imagined, and the entire itinerary ran smoothly. Both my daughter and I had an epic holiday that we'll remember for the rest of our lives.
Thank you, Issa, for your exceptional service, constant communication, and genuine care. This trip completely changed how we see Africa, and we sincerely hope to return one day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Goldfinch, and especially Issa, to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. Five stars!

Best vac ever
From the initial quote stage, they demonstrated a genuine commitment to us as clients, responding in under 24 hours regardless of the time. They guided us through every step of the process—visas, vaccinations, documentation, and everything else needed for our well-being and safety. We even met the team members we had been corresponding with to ask questions and share our plans. They met and exceeded every one of my expectations. Seeing my mother act like a five-year-old when she saw the hyenas—and spotting the "Big Five"—made it clear that the whole trip was worth it. One of the best experiences of our lives!
Me and my best mate had an unreal experience with goldfinch adventures. From start to finish it was truly exceptional, the safari exceeded both our expectations! Kelvin was our coordinator who communicated everything clearly and answered all our questions, even taking time for a phone call before our departure. From here, frank was then our tour guide who has 11+ years experience with Tanzanian safaris which really showed. His knowledge, identification and dedication to show us the wildlife we endeavoured to see was incredible. Overall I couldn’t recommend goldfinch and frank enough. A shout out to Nixon and Moses for a belter last day also.

Great communications, excellent service, great value
We worked with Kelvin for our booking. He was very responsive and communicative. We had lots of special requests, and he was able to accomodate all of them without raising the prices by a lot. Unlike some other operators, the quotes went up significantly with the custom requests. He made recommadations for lodging when we didn't have one in mind, and they all turned out to be great. Our guide was Emanuel, who was so pleasant and wonderful. He has 11 years of experience and has the eyes of an eagle. He can spot the tiniest birds while driving. He was an incredible driver as well. The roads can be extremely bumpy and muddy, but he did his best to make us feel comfortable and leave his car clean. We had simple but delicious lunch every day. Overall, we were very happy with Goldfinch and thought the value for money was excellent. Would highly recommend!

Customized tour for all budgets
We had a family group of 10. Brenda was very easy to work with in terms of arranging the types and price points of accommodations that we were looking for. Our tour guides, Eric and Isaac were so gracious, knowledgeable, funny, and got us safely and on time to all of our destinations. Our trip was all by Jeep, no local flights. This was a great way to truly get a taste of Tanzania. We experienced the Big 5 and more!!
