Great communications, excellent service, great value
We worked with Kelvin for our booking. He was very responsive and communicative. We had lots of special requests, and he was able to accomodate all of them without raising the prices by a lot. Unlike some other operators, the quotes went up significantly with the custom requests. He made recommadations for lodging when we didn't have one in mind, and they all turned out to be great. Our guide was Emanuel, who was so pleasant and wonderful. He has 11 years of experience and has the eyes of an eagle. He can spot the tiniest birds while driving. He was an incredible driver as well. The roads can be extremely bumpy and muddy, but he did his best to make us feel comfortable and leave his car clean. We had simple but delicious lunch every day. Overall, we were very happy with Goldfinch and thought the value for money was excellent. Would highly recommend!

Customized tour for all budgets
We had a family group of 10. Brenda was very easy to work with in terms of arranging the types and price points of accommodations that we were looking for. Our tour guides, Eric and Isaac were so gracious, knowledgeable, funny, and got us safely and on time to all of our destinations. Our trip was all by Jeep, no local flights. This was a great way to truly get a taste of Tanzania. We experienced the Big 5 and more!!

First and unforgettable safari in Tanzania — dik-diks in love, bird picnics and the cutest animals!
My first safari with Goldfinch Adventures was absolutely unforgettable. They organized everything from A to Z — flights, tickets, transfers, and stunning lodges with pools where we woke up to delicious breakfasts. But the real magic happened outdoors: our breakfasts and lunches were served in the heart of nature, surrounded by birds, with breathtaking views of the national parks. We got incredibly close to so many animals — lions, elephants, giraffes and more — that we truly felt like the luckiest people alive. Our guide shared fascinating and funny facts about every single animal we encountered. The adorable dik-diks stole our hearts — these tiny creatures that always come in pairs, like a real love story in the wild. On our last day in Arusha, before the flight home, we explored the vibrant city markets and soaked in the local culture. Goldfinch Adventures delivered perfect service, reliable communication, and outstanding value. If you're dreaming of Tanzania — just go, and let them handle the rest!

Professional operator with knowledgeable guides!
We managed to arrange a safari tailored to our needs, and with many changes to the original plan, everything arranged and followed up by Brenda (kudos!!).
Later on we managed to see the big five in just under 2 days thanks to our guide Swoahibu, who was looking out for game even when we were already tired after a full day of game, and gave us the oportunity to make the most of our safari!
Really a good choice for organizing a Safari!

We approached many companies to assist us with our dream vacation , all with the exception of Goldfinch were only concerned about the sale chasing us continuously after we had made the enquiry. Brenda from Goldfinch was a totally different experience, nothing was too much trouble she was always there when we had questions and all this before we made the booking. Once we had confirmed the safari she remained at our disposal answering questions providing options and assistance even with things outside of our safari package right up until our arrival and even after the safari had ended.
Our guide was Swahibu , we met on the first day at our lodge and from that meeting , again even to now, you felt confident in his knowledge ,ability and desire to make sure you had a great time and got the most from your vacation. With his skill and knowledge we saw everything you could hope to on a safari including the big 5 , Cheetas chasing prey, so many variety’s of birds and so much more. His ability with the vehicle made you feel safe and his skill to find the right spots a dream. We would like to thank Brenda and Swahibu for their help and devotion towards us achieving our dream and will always be in their debt. Thank you both and Goldfinch

The Goldfinch Adventures is like its name adventures and emotions. Vanessa and Isaías took care of all details with the safari, accomodations, meals and transport. Everything was good and we enjoy a lot.

Excellent logistic
We are 3 Brazilian women, not very young, and found Goldfinch Adventures through internet. We had decided to take the risk to contract them to organize our 11 days tour to Tanzania and we were amazed with their organization and high level of hotel choices. Besides our safari guide was very knowledgeble and good driver. We saw all the 5 five and other interesting animals. Special mention to the 5 days in Zanzibar. This was a dream coming true!

Very well run operation
Very well run safari. Brenda was great at keeping in contact with us. The highlight was of course our driver Shwaibu who was extremely experienced and knowledgeable. We saw all the big 5 animals and more. He knew the parks back to front and where to go to have the best chances of seeing the animals that he wanted. He was great to get along with and we loved spending our 7 day safari with him. The accommodation that was organised for us on safari was excellent.
We would absolutely recommend this company to our friends.
Some areas for improvement include:
- packed lunches - other than the cooked lunches which were great, we mostly had packed lunches on safari which were largely inedible. We like to eat healthy and found the food for the most part to very processed, lacked nutrition and unhealthy. We had to eat bigger breakfasts so we could essentially skip lunch.
- the safari car wasn’t a V8 as promised in the itinerary. It was a somewhat dated diesel.
- We were asked what drinks we wanted in the car fridge and told that wouldn’t be a problem, but only some of the drinks were provided.

Mind-blowing Adventure!
A10/10 adventure. Seeing these animals in their natural habitat is a humbling and beautiful experience. Everything was well organized, safe and uterrly magical Thank you Brenda and Goldfich Adventures!
