Great daytrip to Tarangire National Park
5/5

On Friday 10th of October I booked an impulse daytrip from Mto wa Mbu to Tarangire National Park which is about 110 kilometers. On Sunday morning 12th half past seven the fourwheeldrive with guide Edward on the wheel was ready to pick us up from our lodge. I invited two young people from Mto to come with me to the park. Edward was very friendly and he explained a lot to the youngsters in Kiswahili and to me in English. His timeing was very good, we were at the picknick before everybody was there and we left when it became very busy. Young Baraka was very happy that he could sit in the frontseat, with Edward taking really good care of him. Car was fine and we had no problems. All in all we had a beautiful day with a lot of sightings.

Very responsive and allowed us to customise our experience
5/5

Leticia was very responsive and helped us to customise our experience, which we really valued. Deo, our tour guide, was the best, really knowledgeable, fun and knew the best places to take us to see the wildlife. We were really impressed with the accommodation and would highly recommend Escarpment luxury lodge, they made our honeymoon feel extra special.

Perfect safari agent:)
I arranged the schedule with Leticia and made a contract. She answered so fast that i can make decision quickly! All schedules were booked without any problems.
And my guide Gasper was so nice. He found big 5 for me⭐️ If I told him that i wanted to see a specific animal, he found it! There was no problem with car, because he was good at driving. I really recommend Golden trips Tanzania❤️

GASPER WE LOVE YOU! ❤️
5/5

Our safari with Golden Trips Tanzania was truly one of a kind and absolutely unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and exceeded our expectations in every possible way.

A very special thank you goes to Rachel, who handled the entire organization flawlessly. She was always friendly, incredibly helpful, and made sure every single wish we had was fulfilled. Her professionalism and attention to detail gave us complete peace of mind throughout the trip.

Our guide Gasper was honestly like winning the lottery. We laughed a lot together, and his wildlife-spotting skills were simply unbelievable — he has eyes like an eagle, spotting animals from kilometers away. His driving style was excellent, safe, and very smooth. We truly could not have imagined a better guide for our safari.

The 10-day safari was the absolute highlight of our trip so far and turned out to be far better than we ever expected. Everything ran perfectly from beginning to end. The accommodations and food were top-quality throughout the journey.

We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, a python, and so many other incredible animals we never even expected to encounter. Every single day was filled with amazing moments and unforgettable experiences 😀

We highly recommend Golden Trips Tanzania to anyone looking for a perfectly organized safari with an outstanding team. We would choose them again without hesitation!

Thanks Rachel & GASPER! ❤️

The most wonderful experience possible
5/5

We had the most wonderful Safari possible with Gaspar and Rachel. The organization by Rachel was just perfect. She was very responsive and took care of all our inquiries.
Gaspar (the best guide of east africa) has the best eyes, humor, welfare, driving skills, strategic thinking and planning that one can imagine. Because of him the 10 day safari war unique and tailored to our needs and wants. We visited Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti, South Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Tarangire and Masai tribe. We watched the big five, but most importantly many other animals, which are not less interesting. Many of them had offsprings or were in herds. Gaspar always knew were he could find them or his eyes were able to find them somehow. We spent the evenings together and were laughing a lot. We exchanged our culture and learned many aspects of Tanzanian living, because of Gaspar‘s deep knowledge.
We are beyond greatful for this amazing experience with Gaspar, Rachel and Golden Trips Tanzania. Big recommendation to all people looking for something beyond driving thorough Serengeti!

Serengeti really is "the place where the land runs on forever"
5/5

We absolutely lucked out with Gasper as our guide. He was on a completely different level when it came to tracking wildlife and truly seemed to have two sets of eyes. As a Maasai guide, his tracking skills and deep cultural knowledge clearly added another dimension to the experience. One unforgettable moment was when he spotted a cheetah stalking a gazelle. We followed the entire hunt, witnessed the cheetah’s incredible speed, and later had a front-row seat as it relaxed in the shade right next to our vehicle before heading off for dinner.

We saw the Big Five by our second morning, including two separate leopard sightings. The first leopard had 15 to 20 safari vehicles surrounding it, but Gasper managed to find a second leopard with a gazelle in the tree that we were able to watch almost on our own for an eternity. It became pretty clear just how good he was when another safari driver kept showing up right after our best sightings, including cheetahs and leopards, clearly following where Gasper was leading us. Beyond his tracking skills, he shared an incredible amount of knowledge, and his passion for wildlife and Tanzania truly shone through.

A quick tip for future travelers. The whole “beware of the tsetse flies” warning is totally overblown. Maybe it was the time of year, late November, but we did not see a single one. Pack what you want and do not overhaul your entire wardrobe based on internet hype.

We booked a custom itinerary flying directly from Zanzibar into the Serengeti, then driving to Arusha via the Ngorongoro Crater. For fellow aviation enthusiasts, if you are booked on As Salaam Air, do not worry. It is legit. There is limited information online, but check-in was smooth at a small terminal north of the domestic terminal, and the flight itself went perfectly. Gasper was waiting for us at Seronera Airstrip, and we immediately jumped into the vehicle and started seeing incredible wildlife.

The accommodations were fantastic, especially considering the very reasonable price point we were quoted. We were the only guests at Kumbukumbu Lodge due to low season and some cancellations related to election protests, which we never saw or experienced at all. Farms of Dreams Lodge was also wonderful.

I cannot recommend Golden Trips Tanzania highly enough for a true trip of a lifetime. Definitely ask for Gasper as your guide.
