Great company, good communication, excellent food and good guides
From the start, we have had very good communication with Lulu, answering all our questions. Our schedule got changed last minute, but regarding travel times that was even better. Throughout the safari, the food was excellently prepared by chef Victor and Ibrahim and sufficiently enough and healthy! We had some problems with the car, but that was solved as quickly as possible by the guides. William was a very nice guy, but a bit less assertive than Saidi regarding explanations about wildlife and local tribes and so on. The second half of the tour, we learned more about the surroundings from Saidi. But overall, both guides were very friendly, helpful and good. In term of value for money, we would recommend Sacred (and our tour guides) again!

Responsive, always available but communication can be further improved
We really enjoyed the five days and warmly recommend Sacred Wilderness Expeditions (SWE). Lulu organised everything in detail, was really responsive to our messages, kind, and fast in problem-solving. Information was always provided at request.
Some possible areas of improvement may be: a clearer reference point/person to talk to during the safari - we have never met Lulu, or anyone from SWE, in person and we have had three different guides in five days, who did not necessarily know of SWE. We would have also liked a bit more adherence to the original plan, which changed a couple of times, or at least a bit more communication in advance on the guide and destination for the day (we often discovered the plan for the next day only the night before, or the very same morning - what guide/park to visit/travelling companions/drivers...).
However these are areas of only marginal possible improvement. We really enjoyed everything and had a great time.
Again, we very much recommend SWEs!
Note: SWEs is in charge of the overall organisation but they rely on partner companies for the safaris themselves (guides/lodges/drivers/...). At least for the shared safaris.

Very responsive to all communications and interested in all feedback
Tour guide Raymond was amazing and made our safari. Paced and satisfied our individual and group needs with skill. Great communication. Phenomenal skill in getting off the beaten track into quieter areas and finding the animals making us feel we were alone out there and not in a convoy of Jeeps as well as always always getting the best parking spot at every place we stopped. Value for money great. Lulu great at responding really quickly at all communications making you feel well supported

good value, solid option for solo or small group travelers looking for a social safari experience
I had a good overall experience with Sacred Wilderness Expedition company in Tanzania and would recommend them, especially for travelers who don’t want to pay for a fully private safari.
Communication before and during the trip was smooth and straightforward, mainly via WhatsApp, which made planning very easy. They offered a lot of flexibility when it came to trip duration, routes, parks to visit, and accommodation options across different price ranges. They also helped arrange transport directly from the airport to the start of the safari, which was very convenient.
The safari jeeps themselves were okay—functional but not top-tier, as I’ve seen better elsewhere. That said, the guides were solid: good drivers, experienced at finding good animal-viewing spots, and very patient when answering questions. They clearly knew the parks well and made an effort to ensure everyone had good sightings.
Food was quite decent considering it was cooked at the campsite, and overall well prepared. However, there could have been more protein—there wasn’t really enough meat for the size of the group.
One thing to be aware of is that this is a shared, non-private safari. Groups are international, which is actually a big plus and made the experience more fun—you get to meet people from many different countries. However, because of different route options, groups can be mixed along the way. You may not stay in the same jeep or with the same people for the entire trip, and accommodations may vary as well. If it’s important to you to stay in one vehicle the whole time, make sure to clearly specify your group size and preferences in advance.
Overall, this company offers good value for money and is a solid option for solo or small group travelers looking for a social safari experience without the cost of a private tour.
