An amazing honeymoon
Where do I even begin?
The planning and organising process was easy and smooth. Maryanne answered all my questions (and I had many) and was able to tailor our experience to suit our needs, changing accomodation, cutting days ect.
Each accommodation we stayed in was wonderful. All the staff super attentive and respectful, the food phenomenal and the rooms were comfortable and luxurious. We have to give a special mention to Entim in Mara Masai, we were blown away!
Our drivers were outstanding.
John was quick and made sure that we got to see all the action! He communicated with us well and the other drivers on the drives to get the best spots.
Jackson always had a smile in his face. He was kind and patient (especially when was necessary for the migration crossing). We really appreciated his commitment and positive attitude.
Ronald was flexible and informative. He gave us so much information about different types of species of animals and stopped every time there was a new type that he knew we hadn’t seen. He was also flexible with our safari times.
Overall, a honeymoon we will remember for our lifetime!

Wonderful and unforgettable
Our safari trip to Kenya and Tanzania was truly an unforgettable experience.
Throughout the journey, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife, including hippos, large herds of elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, and many other animals that we had previously only seen in documentaries. Being able to observe them up close in their natural habitat was absolutely amazing. Every day brought something new and exciting, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
The local tour operator also provided excellent service. Everything was well organized, including the airport pick-up and drop-off, which made the whole journey smooth, comfortable, and stress-free.
A special thank you to Rachael, our main point of contact. She was always warm, responsive, and proactive, and helped us resolve every issue we encountered throughout the trip. Her support and attention to detail made us feel reassured and well taken care of from beginning to end.
We would also like to thank our guides, Willian, Michale, and Martin. They were all kind, patient, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They shared fascinating information about the animals, the local environment, and African culture. Their experience and sharp observation skills helped us spot so many animals, and they always made sure we had the best possible viewing positions and enough time to enjoy the moment and take photos.
Beyond their professional knowledge, they also brought so much positive energy and emotional support to the trip. They were friendly, humorous, and attentive, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the journey.
Overall, this safari was an amazing and memorable experience. The wildlife, landscapes, organization, and service were all fantastic. We would highly recommend this safari to anyone planning to visit Kenya and Tanzania.

Splendid safari: trip of a lifetime
The trip was perfectly planned from beginning to end. The communication with Alice was efficient and she was always able to accommodate our requests. We were lucky enough to have the wonderfully wise Mwololo as our tour guide. He taught us so much over the nine days and was always ready to accommodate felxibilities in the schedule. We would like to have him next time!

Trip of a lifetime
We had a great 9D8N safari to Kenya and Tanzania thanks to Splendid Vacations. The whole experience starting from receiving quote to itinerary planning and eventual trip was well organised, seamless and very much splendid. It started with Rachael who was very effective in communicating the options and price range as well as tailoring the itinerary to other elements we wanted to incorporate (Maasai village tour, Hot Air Balloon safari in Serengti). Rachael did a great job in replying quickly and was clear in her communication, making the admin process very seamless
On the ground in Kenya & Tanzania, we were very lucky to have 3 incredible guides. We had Julius for the first part of our Kenya trip, Jackson for Tanzania and Alex for the second part of Kenya. All three guides did an excellent job in sharing their knowledge of the animals, making sure we had the best positions for photos of the wildlife and were conscious in helping us find the animals we really wanted to see (big cats). My wife and I really appreciated that they constantly checked in on us to ensure we were comfortable throughout the trip and confirming /adjusting the plan each day based on what we wanted to see. It was a brilliant safari and this is a trip we thoroughly enjoyed and will hopefully be back in Africa soon!

Splendid organisation with Splendid vacation
From the quote to the post holiday period, I have been extremely happy with Splendid Vacations. The quote was very detailed and easy to modify to adjust exactly to our needs and budget. The holiday itself went really well, with Rono our great guide , really nice accommodation with very available staff (almost too much at times!). THE BEST! Went above and beyond for us!
I am so glad I booked my trip with splendid vacations. On behalf of my entire family I would like to thank Rachel and Willy for giving us the best possible experience; one which we will cherish for lifetime.
Willy was absolutely THE BEST guide we could ask for. He went above and beyond for us to give the best possible experience. We checked everything on our bucket list. We had the chance to see the babies of all animals. Everybody in the tour mentioned that we were lucky and it is incredibly hard to spot almost everything on the very first day. The second day ended with a cherry on the top as we finished our trip by seeing one hell of a show by the lion cubs. I wouldn’t just say we were lucky, it was Willy’s incredible effort for us to have the best experience. The leopard hunting was one experience I will never forget. Our entire family is so thankful and grateful to both Rachel and Willy.
I would definitely recommend this team to everybody who asks for suggestion. I am still reeling from the experience and it is a bit hard to get back to reality😅
Rachel had been in touch with me since January and was very patient throughout the planning. She was very accommodating to all our suggestions and helped us with the planning. This is my lifetime trip and I am grateful for Rachel and Willy.

Highly professional
Very easy to communicate with when changing an advertised tour in order to fit our family - transparent pricing. The accomodations booked for us were truly excellent. Our guide Gabriel made us feel safe when driving on main roads - never seemed to be ‘racing’ and always got us in great positions when on game drives. Highly recommend.

Great safari as always
This is the second time I have gone on a safari with Splendid Vacations. Alice handled all the arrangements, and just like last year, everything worked like clockwork. We were met at the airport, and our safari began the following morning.
Our guide, Alex, is the best guide I have ever met. I am a photographer, and Alex knows the best angles for photographing animals based on their position and the lighting conditions. He was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the trip.

A very efficient, friendly, comfortable and perfect journey
The four of us went to the African-Kantan Ring Road for 10 days this time. For some reason, it was a temporary idea, so the plane took off on the 11th and did not start looking for a group on safari booking until the 4th.
Because of the tight time, the Splendid Vacation we were looking for replied to me by email soon after my consultation. I added their WeChat at 4 o'clock local time in Kenya, and they gave me a very detailed and exquisite quotation at 9 local time in Kenya. It's so fast that I'm very shocked.
Our trip went well. The hotels were also clean, beautiful and comfortable. The speed of booking hotels by the ground pick-up agency was also very fast. Later, they upgraded our accommodation. I am very grateful to them. These hotels are so beautiful that I have found a sense of leisure.
In addition, the guide Gabriel is very friendly, patient and has good eyesight. The second guide, Jackson, is a guide with about ten years of experience. He is very careful about finding animals. He communicated with us very smoothly and friendly, and also took us to find two leopards who only sleep in trees. They gave me a very Perfect experience.
In general, I am very grateful to the Splendid Vacation. On the one hand, their quotation is very fast, the hotel they stay in is also very good, and the proportion of deposit payment has also been reduced a lot. We use WeChat to communicate, which is very efficient.
