Alice was our tour consultant, very patient, kind, and extremely helpful. Alice was very flexible and happy to adjust the itinerary to suit our own request she then provided a perfect Safari packages as per my request. Communication with her via WhatsApp was easy and efficient. She was always quick to respond and answering all our questions with care. Asante ALICE for the incredibly responsive and you ensured every request was taken care of.
We were also delighted to meet Alice in person, who gave us such a warm welcome at the airport. It was a wonderful surprise and made us feel valued and well cared for right from the moment we arrived.
Now it time to introduce the star of your safari and the person who made it truly unforgettable was our amazing driver and guide throughout the safari TIMOTHY. We cannot speak highly enough of Tim. He was the heart and soul of our adventure his expertise, warmth, and genuine passion for wildlife made every moment unforgettable.
Tim had an extraordinary ability to spot animals from great distances and always positioned the vehicle perfectly to give us the best views whether it was a pride of lions lounging in the shade, elephants & rhinos crossing our path, or a leopard hidden in the trees. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing detailed insights about each animal’s & birds behavior, habitat, and conservation efforts.
Beyond his guiding skills, Tim was simply a joy to be around punctual, patient, kind, and always attentive to our comfort. He made us feel safe, informed, and completely taken care of from start to finish. Each day with him was a perfect balance of adventure, learning, and laughter.
By the end of our safari, Tim wasn’t just our guide he felt like a family. Tim treated us like family in his attentiveness. We are so grateful to have shared this experience with someone so dedicated and passionate. If you're planning a safari, ask for Timothy—you won’t regret it. He made our trip truly exceptional.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Splendid Vacations
I recently returned from a truly unforgettable safari trip organized by Splendid Vacations, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. Incredible experience from start to finish – well organized, reliable, and truly memorable!
We booked a 6-day safari with Splendid Vacations covering Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara, and had an absolutely amazing experience. Our driver Julius was the heart of the trip — kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the start, he showed his deep experience: in Amboseli, he guided us to a cheetah family, and we were the only ones there to witness it! Throughout the tour, he adapted to our pace and made us feel completely at ease — whether it was letting us rest quietly during long drives or sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and landscapes. We ended up seeing every animal we’d hoped for, often up close. Communication and planning with the company was smooth and professional, and everything was handled seamlessly. After much research we decided to book our much awaited Safari holiday with Splendid Vacations. Alice was on hand to help tailor make the itinerary that best suited us. She was extremely patient and accommodating, which resulted in a seamless experience once we got to Kenya.
We booked our stays at Sweetwaters Serena Camp(Ol Pejeta Conservancy), Sawela Lodges(Nakuru) & Sarova Mara Game camp( Masai Mara). Impeccable rooms, food and service at each stay.
Any request or clarification we needed during our stay was promptly addressed by Alice.
Our tour guide/driver for the entire trip was Steven. Such a calm gentleman with a ton of information about his country, an apt cultural ambassador! Large spacious Land cruiser, with water provided every day. He was very accommodating with our requests as well.Because of the excellent pace of the program, we were able to connect with locals and not always be rushing to see the next thing. Steven took us on several game drives to try and spot the elusive Leopard!
Overall, we're very glad that we booked with Splendid Vacations. They left no stone unturned to make this the holiday of a lifetime!

Amazing Safari Experience with Splendid Vacations!
From the very beginning, our experience with Splendid Vacations — through James, our tour consultant — was perfect! They truly understood our needs and helped us design the tour exactly the way we wanted. James was always attentive and open to all the changes we requested.
Once we arrived in Nairobi, our guide Masila was already at the airport waiting for us. Thanks to him, the safari exceeded all our expectations — he has deep knowledge of the areas and knows exactly how to track the animals. On top of that, he is a genuinely kind and helpful person, always supporting us with anything we needed and also very flexible.

The most effective and customer-oriented professional booking agent we have ever worked with.
There were four of us on a safari to Amboseli, Nakuru, Masi Mara and Hells Gate. This was the first time to Africa for my wife and me. The other two members of our group have both worked and lived in Kenya (Peace Corps, National Geographic, and various anthropological digs such as Richard Leaky). In various ways we were amazed and the experience we had. The flora and fauna, obviously, was remarkable. We saw many things that can only be described with photos…like a bloated dead hippo in a river being reduced to nothing by lions, hyenas and crocs. What made our experience even more enjoyable was the highly qualified and experienced driver and guide who took knew where to go in our safari vehicle. Wonderful and thoughtful experience
We had booked a private tour through Spendid for 5 days and had the most amazing adventure! The beauty of various locations across Kenya (and in particular Masai Mara) is of course everything we had wanted and more, and saw lots of animals despite it being “off peak” season.
The Splendid team itself was also wonderful, Rachel who was incredibly patient and helpful in assisting us to find the right package, and was checking in on us during the trip. We really appreciated the time we got to spend on the road with our driver / guide Augustine who did a great job getting us to locations not only safely but with a lot more knowledge. He also did his best in tracking down the big five for us :)
All in all, we had a wonderful trip and would love to return again some day. Highly recommend this tour operator!

We had an unforgettable 4-day safari experience organized by Splendid Vacations! From start to finis
We had an amazing 4-day safari organized by Splendid Vacations — an experience we’ll never forget! Everything was smooth and well taken care of from the beginning to the end.
A special thanks to our guide, Mwololo, who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe and welcome throughout the journey. His experience and sharp eyes allowed us to see a wide variety of wildlife, especially in Amboseli National Park, where we enjoyed incredible views of elephants, antelopes, birds, and even a hyena!
Our stay in Taita Hills was especially memorable — a peaceful and cozy experience where we almost had the place to ourselves. Tsavo East was a bit more challenging in terms of wildlife spotting, but we were lucky enough to see lions there, which was a real highlight.
All the accommodations along the way were clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. We were also very lucky with the weather — even though it was the rainy season, we had no rain during the days, making our safari even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend Splendid Vacations for anyone looking for a well-organized, authentic, and unforgettable safari adventure!

Well organised tour with great experiences and without any problems
We went on a 6 day safari in April 2025 with Splendid Vacations. The tour was very well organised and the itinerary could be adjusted beforehand at our own request. Questions prior to the start of the safari were always answered quickly and there were no outstanding issues. The tour guide James was great and was one of the main reasons for the awesome experience . He was always on site at the agreed times and gave us great insights during the safaris, but also during the drives from one camp to the next. The camps were all very clean and in good condition.
The trip ended up being much more than we expected, was a extraordinary experience and we would do this again and again through Splendid Vacations.

Huge thanks to @splendid for organizing such an unforgettable trip! Everything was so well-planned—from the itinerary to the accommodations. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I have been contacted by Dennis from Splendid Vacations and he has provided the 10 days perfect Safari packages as per my request. All our stays was clean, modern, and well-equipped with good locations where can see animals 🦓🦒🐃 from our room.The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable.The breakfast spread was also really impressive with both local and Western options. Overall, a fantastic stay.
He always follow up with me on the safari plan and even help me a lot with my ETA submission to Kenya as we are having some issues with the name printed in ETA as per our passports.
The price, selection of accommodations and game drive is exactly followed as per itinerary listed in the packages from day 1 to day 10.
Dennis also accomodate my spouse request to do a surprise birthday celebration by the hotel staff.
Also on last day our vehicles having issues and they immediately send a rescue and provide us a dinner at Hilton Hotel. Thank you so much.
Our Driver Rono is well known about the routes to go to each parks and also quick in spotting the animals.
He also very knowledgeable on the each animals and explained well to us of their habitats and activities. He always ensure our safety first while driving us to anywhere.
We are fully satisfied with their services as we are first a bit worried on the services but its proven our assumptions is wrong.
