Extraordinary safari! Very well organized. Thank you Moses, Zulfa, Stanley, Socofo. 200% recommended
5/5

Extraordinary safari! Very well organized. Great relationship and quick communication via WhatsApp with Moses and Zulfa before, during, and after the safari. They were always attentive to our needs and tried to help us even beyond the safari. The best safari driver, Stanley! He is very experienced, very respectful of the animals, and allowed us to take as many photos as we wanted. A cook, Socofo, who always prepared excellent meals and lunchboxes for us.
Above all, wonderful human encounters, which allowed us to discover the richness of African wildlife in beautiful national parks: Serengeti, N'gorongoro, Tarangire. We were delighted to share the safari with two friendly people we met during the safari, two priests, Steven and Reginald. We really enjoyed our exchanges.
Moses answered all our questions before the safari. He came to our private accommodation in Arusha the morning of departure to give us a very detailed briefing on the entire five days, with beautiful maps of the parks we would be visiting. He gave us each a Kiliclimb Safari hat and t-shirt. Then the car arrived in front of our accommodation with our driver and our two safari companions. And off we went!
Tarangire for the first day, after a 2.5-hour drive through a Maasai region and a picnic, then Serengeti after a long two-day drive, then N'Gorongoro and the last day at Lake Manyara. Magical! Baobabs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, birds, baboons, lions and cubs, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, jackals, hyenas, flamingos, leopards, and cheetahs. Stanley, our great driver, always arrived at the right time and showed us all the animals and gave us lots of explanations about their lives. We saw rare and extraordinary scenes: a lioness who had attacked and killed a wildebeest came to move it into the shade to eat it with other lionesses and cubs. Then a leopard eating its prey, a gazelle, in a tree. Then a lion and his lioness mating in the morning at sunrise. The Serengeti balloons flying over the savannah in the colors of sunrise. Then a cheetah chasing an impala, suffocating it to kill it and eat it. Thousands of zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, elephants... The Jua Manyara Lodge made us feel very welcome for our first and last nights. Camping in the Serengeti was very simple with lots of people, and the conditions were a bit tight. The Simba campsite on day 4 in N'Gorongoro was well organized, even with hot water for showers; however, the nighttime temperatures were very cool.
Moses checked on us every evening to see if everything was going well.
On our return to Arusha, he met us at our accommodation to listen to our feedback and comments. He helped us order our taxi to Arusha airport the next morning for 6:30 a.m. But unfortunately, at 8 p.m., Air Tanzania informed us at the last minute that our flight to Zanzibar had been canceled and put us on an even earlier flight from Kilimanjaro Airport, asking us to be at 4 a.m. in front of Arusha Town Hall to catch a bus. So we needed a taxi for 3:30 a.m., which we had to find after 8 p.m. the day before! We sent a message to Moses, who arranged for us to change the taxi, which was indeed there at 3:30 a.m.! And we were able to make our flight. Thanks again, Moses.
But our daughter fell ill that evening, and we had to go to the medical center upon arrival in Zanzibar, then to the hospital. Fortunately, she was well and quickly treated (bacteria). Moses and Zulfa asked us how our daughter was and offered to help us if necessary.
In addition to their kindness and skills, their prices are very reasonable for all services and we 200% recommend KILICLIMB SAFARI, Moses and Zulfa, Stanley and Socofo!!!

The best safari company ever!
5/5

Wow, what a trip! We can’t recommend Kiliclimb enough. They really care about your personal experience and making sure you have the best time possible. We were pleasantly surprised with how affordable their prices were, especially compared to other quotes we’d seen online. What was even better was that this didn’t mean they compromised on quality. We had a private briefing where Moses came to our house, it was informative and we felt very cared for and prepared. Our driver on the safari, Louis, was phenomenal. He was brilliant at making sure we saw as many animals as possible, even spotting three lions sleeping on the side of the road that other drivers were whizzing by! If you want a company that really cares about making your safari special, Kiliclimb all the way!

Fantastic honeymoon in Africa!
5/5

We had a fantastic 7 day safari with Kiliclimb for our honeymoon!

We were greeted at the airport by our tour coordinator, Janeth, who sang us a welcome song. At our hotel the day before our safari we met our guide Ombeni and went through our itinerary.

The next day our guide Ombeni met us at the hotel with a surprise! The owners of Kiliclimb greeted us with flowers, and wrapped us in Maasai outfit to send us on our way to Central Serengeti. On our first day there we saw a lot of animals but were able to spot Lions, a Cheetah (our guide spotted it in the middle of the plain very far away) and Leopards all with their babies. The next day we took a game drive in the central area and saw more animals, some new to us!

From there we drove to the north to see the great migration and river crossing of wildebeests and zebras. Our first day at the river watching and waiting we finally saw 2 huge crossings of hundreds of animals and even saw one get eaten by a crocodile. It was worth the wait! The next day we went on an early morning hot air balloon ride which was amazing! We had a champagne brunch in the bush and were able to chat and relax with other guests.

After two days in the north, we headed down to Ngorongoro Crater where we did a game drive. We saw a big lion pride including one eating a wildebeest, we saw more zebras, a ton of water buffalo, flamingos and hippos and then we were able to spot 2 rhinos in the forested area. For our last day we went to Lake Manyara which is a beautiful area and saw lots of monkeys, elephants, birds and even a giraffe.

All of the lodges and camps we stayed at were top notch with fantastic staff, good food and rooms. Our hot lunches were delicious and yummy every day. The Kiliclimb team made this honeymoon unforgettable and incredibly special. They were responsive, communicative and welcoming.

5/5

I’m from China, and I recently experienced a five-day safari with Kiliclimb Africa Safaris. We chose them because friends had recommended them everything was incredibly organized, starting from our pickup. Our guide Logan was wonderfully friendly, and thanks to him, we had an amazing experience. We not only saw the Big Five, but also witnessed the breathtaking Great Migration crossing. It truly was the best safari experience ever. I highly recommend this agence they are very well organised
if you want to come to Tanzania this is a place to book for unforgettable experience ever

Melk our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable.
A flight issue delayed our arrival so Kiliclimb tailored the schedule at the last minute to make sure we got the best value we could from the reduced time. Locally owned company, wouldn’t hesitate to use use them again.

Kiliclimb takes excellent care of you and helps you create memorable experiences
5/5

We booked a 5 day safari with Kiliclimb which included Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, and the Ngorongoro crater.
From the start the communication with the people at Kiliclimb was so easy. They responded to our questions very quickly and nothing was a problem. When we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport, manager Janeth was there to pick us up and she had brought a bottle of sparkling wine with her to welcome us to Tanzania. It was such a nice gesture, we felt very welcome. The day before the safari we spontaneously decided that we wanted to go the Chemka Hot Springs near Arusha. It was already a bit late in the day but within an hour Moses had arranged a driver + guide for us. Again, nothing was a problem.
During our 5 day safari we were very lucky that we had driver Julius with us. Not only was he a safe and very good driver, he was also very experienced. He knew the national parks like the back of his hands and really went the extra mile to create a memorable experience for us. This resulted into seeing the Big 5 and also the Great Migration of the wildebeests crossing the Mara river. Unforgettable. Julius also knew very much about the Tanzanian wildlife, we really learned a lot from him.
We booked the 'mid-range' package in terms of luxury and the accommodations certainly lived up to that, if not exceeded them. We thought all the accommodations were nice, comfortable and clean. Also, all the meals were good. My partner is vegan but that was not a problem and they made sure there was enough to eat for her as well. During the safari, Janeth occassionally contacted us to make sure we were happy and if there was anything we needed.
Everyone we met at Kiliclimb made their best effort to create an amazing experience for us and they really succeeded. We felt very much taken care of and we would highly recommend this local Tanzanian company.

Relible and attentive
5/5

Although this wasn't my first time choosing a safari company, it remains a difficult and responsible step, one on which a great deal depends. I chose Kiliclimb Africa Safaris because, from the very first contact, I received very quick, clear, and detailed responses and recommendations. Their proposed itinerary perfectly matched our wishes, and a significant discount for a child made the overall price for the whole family very competitive. We never had any reason to doubt my choice. I could have expected that co-owner Moses personally came to meet us the day before the trip and explained everything in detail and with such a friendly manner, but the fact that Janeth took the time to visit us after the trip was a very pleasant surprise. Throughout the safari, we experienced both excellent pre-planning and constant (daily!) monitoring and control of our itinerary. This helped us successfully replace a suddenly canceled camp reservation with another, without any loss of accommodation quality or disruption to the itinerary. Kiliclimb works with experienced, patient, and responsible guides – our guide, Melk, was impeccable. And finally, for a great safari, you need a little luck. And we had it – we saw the Mara River crossing (the highlight of the Great Migration) with 15 minutes left before returning to camp.
Of the five safaris I've been on in different countries, this was the most exciting (and the most challenging, due to the sheer size of the Serengeti), and the desire to once again experience the magnificent world of Tanzania's wildlife arose immediately after the safari ended. And, of course, again with Kiliklimb!

Beautiful
5/5

The guide was very friendly and explained everything in great detail, which I really appreciated.
Most of all, the guide was an excellent driver, which saved us a lot of time.
Compared to other tour vehicles, we were able to get to better spots faster, so we could see the animals up close.
The guide was also very funny, and we had a great time singing songs and enjoying the trip together.
It was such a wonderful experience!

Amazing Safari Planning and safari guide
5/5

Janeth was incredibly professional throughout my planning process. I had requested quotes from several companies, but she was the one who helped me decide which places to visit to make the most of my safari trip. She was highly responsive — even replying at midnight in Kenya — and very flexible in accommodating my special requests. She also checked in with me daily, which I appreciated even though I often travel solo and don’t usually need that level of support. For travelers who enjoy having someone follow up regularly, this would be a huge plus.

My guide, Melk, was excellent at spotting animals from a distance. He asked which animals I most wanted to see and went out of his way to find them for me. His deep knowledge of wildlife really stood out — you can tell he is passionate about what he does, not just doing a job. He was friendly, attentive, and easy to get along with. I would definitely recommend him to anyone booking with this company.
