Great Safari Experience
Felix is a very effective communicator and responds quickly to our questions and inquiries. We had an excellent driver-guide named Joshua who is very pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. His English is very good and he tries to help us see as much as possible during our 2 days three nights in Masaai Mara. On day 1 we already saw a lot of animals including about 10 lions and a cheetah (very elusive) at close range. We didn’t see the great migration across the Mara River and I asked Josh if we could go again on day 2. Josh said the chance was very low given the high water level but he said he would check the updates. We were at the bank of the Mara River when the Great Migration crossing started on day 2 and we were treated to the most spectacular sighting! It was a very rare event to see the mass crossing and we were there on our feet right on the river bank. It was a great memory.
Two comments to make about our experience: 1. The Jambo Mara Lodge is a mid-range lodge and I wish we were given the option of booking the glass cottage. The wooden cottage we stayed in is old and in need of some repairs. The glass cottage is larger, much newer and modern and only cost $80 more a night. Our second issue was the Land Cruiser. It needs some repairs - seat belts and grab handles should be working for not only safety but also for comfort as the Mara roads are very rough and bumpy. Without seatbelts and grab handles we bumped our backs several times while riding the bumpy roads.
Another minor issue was that Felix told us we would leave at ‘exactly’ 6am on the first day of the Safari tour but he and the driver-guide didn’t show up until 6:35am. That impacted our first impression a bit. Overall because of the diversity and great sights we saw in such a short time our group of 7 are very happy with our Safari tour. In retrospect, we would have been glad to pay a bit more for a more comfortable vehicle and room. I however would not recommend the Jambo Mara Safari Lodge due to mediocre service and poor food.

A wonderful experience in life time.
Josh is a driver and tour guide, who is very responsible and has a very driving skill even on the bumper & uneven road.
Would like to have a better 4 wheel car for this trip because the road is very bumpy.

Perfect organization, adapted to what we looked for.
We hand our ideas, but no experience with a safari in Afrika. They helped us to choose and adapt the safari to our interest and to the amount we wanted to spent. The choose lodges surprised us, everything great. The driver was very nice, he knew great spots to see the animals and gave us a lot of time for that and also for resting. I am very happy to have choosen a company directly in Africa for the service. Thank you for this great experience.

Extraordinary and perfect service level
Extremely great service and knowledge. We had a pickup at our hotel in Nairobi and a safe travel to Jambo Lodge. After check in we started with a short drive at ta park. The day after we did e marvellous balloon flight and then a great full day at the park. Leonard our guide was fantastic and after leaving us at the landing strip we felt that we choose the best company for this adventure.

Leisure Deals Tours created a tour package for my group that was packed with many of the most important tourist experiences including several game reserves, scenic hotels, and wonderful restaurants.
