Adventurous and beautiful
Pavillion Safaris team was very nice to us from the time of booking, on arrival they sent their drive Joseph at the airport to pick us up.
The safari was awesome and really exceeded our expectations, we saw all the big 5 and many more animals within the 7 days itinerary, I highly recommend Peter and his group

Organized and professional
My girlfriend and I went on a 6 day budget safari with pavilion !
Let’s start by saying how greatly planned it was! Although there was lots of driving from park to park as we chose a tour that covered many different parks, they still made sure we maximized time within the parks and time with the animals. We Had Anthony as our guide! Anthony was amazing, he has 11 years of experience doing safaris in Kenya, he always made sure we had what we needed and that everyone in the group was taken care of at the camps, he spoke great English, and when other guests who didn’t speak much English needed to know more, he made sure that they got what they needed, either asking us to help explain, or using translator apps.
We loved that we did the park in the off season, this meant less traffic in the park, less vehicles around the animals and an all in all more natural feeling safari!
We upgraded our vehicular from the van usually used in the budget safaris to the Land Cruiser!... Read more I would highly recommend this to anyone doing this trip, it is worth the extra money! You can go more places in the park and there for get better sighting of animals, of which we had lots! (See attached photos! Haha
We will 100% be back!
Beyond my expectations
Safari was well organised from start to finish. I was able to see a lot from from my first day there until the end. Communications were good with them checking in to make sure everything was OK. Accommodation was excellent by providing a tent experience. Whole experience was beyond my wildest expectations.

Was very easy to book and whole experience was managed in a friendly matter.
This whole safari from start to finish was very well managed. Communication was exceptional. They took their own initiative to contact us to see how everything was going. We were able to see many different animals and plenty of other local sights. Accommodation and food was good. Highly recommend this to everyone.

It's not just a trip, it's an unforgettable journey.
The first time I came to Kenya, Peter and his team helped me have a memorable journey to explore Kenya. Before the trip, Peter accompanied me in all preparations from luggage, necessary documents and useful advice, he spent a lot of time to arrange the most suitable schedule for me. I had 7 full days to explore the Safari and famous places throughout Kenya. Massai Mara where I had the opportunity to meet the Big Five in the first days of the trip, the hot air balloon experience was also very special. In the following days, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate National Park were the perfect destinations in the middle of the journey, I could not forget the moment of seeing a flock of flamingos in the middle of the vast blue Lake Nakuru, the Rothschild giraffe - an endangered giraffe, seeing the mother and baby white rhino on the grassland, the scene of an eagle hunting fish at Lake Naivasha. In particular, the feeling of cycling at Hell's Gate National Park and recalling... Read more the scenes in the animated film The Lion King is an indescribable feeling that you should experience. On the last days of the journey, I was present at Amboseli National Park, where I saw a huge herd of elephants, luckily I witnessed a mother cheetah and her 5 young cubs hunting, I saw the highest mountain in Africa - the majestic Kilimanjaro. Titus and his partner were the ones who accompanied me for 7 days, they were very cheerful and enthusiastic and worked with all their efforts to help me have the opportunity to see animals on Safaris. Accommodation is diverse from hotels, budget motels to tents in the middle of the forest - where you can easily watch the Milky Way every night and immerse yourself in nature. In particular, the accommodations all have hot water for bathing and clean toilets. The meals were delicious to my taste and I felt very satisfied about this.
There is much more I want to share but I just want to emphasize that Peter and his colleagues will always try and accompany you in an amazing way to bring you the best memories of your Safari experience in Africa. They are not just a travel service but like your friends, they listen and support, accompany you so that you can enjoy your exploration with peace of mind. I hope to meet Pavillion Safaris team again one day soon and I will definitely recommend them to my friends when they have the opportunity to visit Kenya.

Pretty nice trip.
It’s a perfect team. Peter provided timely suggestions and feedback during the itinerary planning process, helping us finalize a perfect itinerary. Titus and Benard were extremely conscientious throughout the entire tour. They were always able to get the latest information about the animals at the first moment, which not only enabled us to see all kinds of animals, but even witness hunting. At the same time, their wit, humor and friendliness made our entire journey more enjoyable.

Well planned, packed itinerary with responsive operator and knowledgeable guides
Had the best time on our safari through Kenya and Tanzania organized by Pavillion Safaris! Peter was responsive and helpful, and constantly checking in on how we were through the 10 day safari. Our guides were very knowledgeable, and excellent drivers. Our guide in Kenya, Boniface helped us identify birds, told us the history of the parks we went through, and always checked in to see if any of the members in his van needed support. We took the van option in Kenya and a jeep in Tanzania, and they were both very comfortable. When we had questions, both Peter and our guides were available to help and answer, including stopping at ATMs to withdraw extra cash, getting SIM cards etc. Peter was also very accommodating to our amended itinerary since we planned to fly to Zanzibar on day 11 instead of returning by car to Nairobi as suggested on the trip.
To note: there are many 8+ hours of driving days in the safari, some primarily spent in game drives through national parks, others on getting... Read more from one park to another. The guides/drivers are incredible drivers, and even though the roads aren't always perfect, I never felt motion sickness through the trip. One recommendation would be to bring face masks, as some of the parks are windy and dusty.
The accommodations and food both in Kenya and Tanzania were adequate. In Kenya, we stayed in large campsites with regular beds, washrooms, and hot showers. Lunch was packed (sandwich + fruits and juice), and dinner and breakfast were served at the campsites. In Tanzania, we stayed in regular tents on a campground with shared bathroom facilities. All meals in Tanzania were served hot and fresh.
Do mention any dietary restrictions to the guides and Peter ahead of time - they do their best to accommodate them but it's not always available. As a vegetarian, I had no trouble with food throughout the trip, although a vegan in our group had more struggle for a day or two.
Overall, I'd highly recommend Pavillion Safaris, organized by Peter, and both Boniface and Rueben, our guides through the safari.

well organized and safely enough.
we joined the safari trip from the end of March to the beginning of April, we enjoyed the trip a lot. It is raining season, but in our case it rains someday only at night, it is sunny in the day time so we can enjoy the view. It is after the breeding season, we saw many babies which are super cute. the temperature is just right, not hot. not too many tourist, not crowded. the price is reasonable, the trip is well recognized, and our guide Martin is so nice. It is also a good chose to go in March and April, and I highly recommend Pavillion Safaris .
