An unforgettable 5-Day Mount Kenya Adventure with Tilman Safaris
We had a wonderful experience climbing Mount Kenya with Tilman Safaris. We did a 5-day trek from Chogoria to Point Lenana and back down via the Sirimon Route. It was a great route for acclimatization and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
Our guide Leonard was very knowledgeable and experienced. He always adapted to our pace and guided us safely throughout the trek.
We were supported by a whole team, which was a lovely surprise at the beginning. Everyone was very helpful and professional. A special thank you to our amazing chef Taylor, who prepared delicious and varied meals every day, no matter the altitude, weather, or campsite. We definitely never went hungry!
The porters also did a great job and worked very hard to support us throughout the trek.
Reaching Point Lenana for sunrise was an unforgettable moment and definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
Overall, the 5 days were an amazing experience. Thanks to the whole Tilman Safaris team for the great organization, all your effort, and for making this such a memorable adventure. We would definitely recommend them!

Great experience!!
We booked the five-day tour of climbing Mount Kenya and enjoyed exploring the beautiful valley with its lobelias, a wonderful waterfall, and nice campsites e.g. near Lake Ellis. The surrounding scenery was absolutely amazing.
We had a great team, an excellent guide, and a fantastic cook who prepared delicious meals with fresh fruits and vegetables. The food was nice presented, and they even created a lovely picnic spot with a nice tablecloth. The tents were new, and the equipment was of good quality.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience to climb the Mount Kenya as a family with our 3 teenagers.
