Well organised, excellent service and above all a very informative driver
Our Safari experience was absolutely unforgettable. Everything was organised with care and attention. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife.
We were lucky enough to see four out of the big five along with other countless animals in their natural habitats. The driver was respectful toward the environment and animals. Overall the Safari was the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation and discovery. We highly recommend Tilman Safari.

Organized and well coordinated support
It was the hardest and longest hike for me (Mt Kenya Lenana). However, a team of Tilman Safaris including a professional and calm guide (Anthony), fantastic cook (lot of vegetables and warm meals when most needed), kind porters made the hike as comfortable and assuring possible. Through the booking, all the questions and concerns were answered promptly. It was a fantastic experience! Highly recommended.

Good organzation, smart and entertaining guides
We had an excellent time in Kenya due to the great planning of Charles and his excellent team. Hiking Mount Kenya felt quite easy with great company of the guides, especially Anthony and Lennard, great food and good adventures. Absolutely nothing to complain. The safari in Samburu was a highlight for us, not only because we were lucky to see all the big cats, but our guide Samy was able to teach us so much about the nature and the country itself.
We can only recommend going with Tilman Safari.

Kind and very flexible organization
Through Tilman we booked a hike to the summit of Mount Kenya and a safari to the Masai Mara. Tilman was a very friendly and flexible organization. They tailored the trip to our wishes, and the staff during the tours were very professional and friendly.

The Best in mount Kenya hike
The guide was very experienced,his knowledge,expertise and good vibes made our the highlight of our trip.he was happy to teach us about the fauna and flora generally and showed us where to wait out of the cold wind at the summit when the sun rose.

A tour operator who knows how to do safari.
Even before we finally booked the safari, Charles from Tillmann Safaris was there to help and advise us.
The decision not to take the van was also the right one. We drove on roads the van could never manage. The jeep was well maintained, clean and brought us save through the Safari.
With Alvin, our tour guide, we hit the jackpot.
He's the tour guide you need for a safari like this.
You couldn't imagine a better one, patient, friendly and extremly knowledgeable.
Whether it was his instinct for the weather and fine-tuning the itinerary or the trails in the national parks, Alvin always had the right instinct.
We can't say for sure whether Alvin is truly 100% human or whether he has genes from bush animals.
In any case, he has learned a lot from the animals over the years.
He always knew where to find which animals, knew where they would cross our paths, and even when there was nothing to see, his eagle eyes were always able to spot animals and lead us to them.
Whether it was leopards hunting, herds of elephants or antelope on their way to the water, or buffalo, rhinos, or even lions chilling, Alvin showed us everything. The Big Five weren't just a title, they were truly part of the program.
The 7days „Best of …“ did not only met our expectations, it even exceeded them.
It was really a dream and Alvin made this dream become true.

Professional, knowledgeable in His job as a tour guide. Tilman is also very kind
I had my dream experience on a tour to Samburu National Park. The guide was well vast about wildlife and knows how to manoeuvre around the park, such that you get to see almost all animals. I'm still reminiscing about beautiful sunsets at the end of the tour. I am certainly saving for a another great trip to Maasai Mara with Tilman Safaris
