Amazing experience
James and Johnson where amazing tour guides who drove us through Amboselli towards and in Masai Mara and dropped us at the airport. they made the experience really great and because of them we seen the big five. Big props to them :)

Amazing experience
We found this company through Henry, who helped us give shape to a trip specially for us! He has been a great help, always responding quickly.
We loved our time going through Amboseli and Masai Mara. James and Johnson made sure we saw as much amazing things as possible, with their help we saw the BIG FIVE! We were very happy with them as our guides.
The cars were comfortable and stocked with drinking water. We were very happy that the organization could accommodate our group of 10 people. We had a great time!

Exceptional
We had an incredible experience with Solo Safari on our 3 night adventure, 1 night at Lake Nakuru and 2 nights in the Masai Mara, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
From the start, everything was thoughtfully organised and personalised to suit our plans. A standout touch was how flexible they were: they dropped us off at a different location in the Mara for a campsite stay, then picked us up the next day and seamlessly continued our journey back to Nairobi. That level of coordination made the whole trip feel effortless.
Our driver Chris was absolutely fantastic. His dedication to making sure we saw as many animals as possible really stood out, and his knowledge of animal behaviour added so much depth to the experience. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, it made every game drive exciting and memorable.
The accommodation was stunning. We opted for the luxury package, and it was 100% worth it, the rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and added an extra level of enjoyment to the trip.
A special mention to Xavier as well, who put together a clear and detailed travel itinerary. He was incredibly responsive, always quick to reply and happy to provide any information or help whenever we needed it.
Overall, this was an unforgettable safari experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Solo Safari again!

Good price and beautiful park
The park is truly beautiful. Compared to other safaris, we had never seen so many animals in one day (we were there in march). Our guide was a really good driver and he was decent at spotting animals. We had another guide for a while who was much more enthusiastic and lively though.
We booked a private tour, but due to car problems or other issues, we had to share most of the time with other people in the car.
A friend of a friend recommended doing the budget option, but specifically the lenchada camp wasn’t too great. It’s very basic. It is okay if you prepare well for camping, but we didn’t receive much info beforehand.
The value for price of the whole trip overall was good, cheaper than many other options. But I would recommend the mid range if possible for your budget, other travellers said their lodges were great. Or maybe if they choose another budget camp it can be better. Communications with tour operator was great, very quick reply’s and was flexible.
Overall we enjoyed the experience.
