Excellent Service and wonderfull Safari
The booking was very easy and the tour operator was very flexible and open.
The tour itself (3 day tour to Selous NP) was excellent organized, the car was in a very good shape, the guide was a great driver, knew a lot about his country and the fauna and flora and was very guest minded.
All in all a perfect tour.

Gecko delivers and brings the safari wildlife in front of your eyes.
We enjoyed 4 day safari tour with Gecko very much. As agreed, the 4 days of wild adventure were more than we expected. We thank to our guide Said, who is a living enceclopedy of Africa and especially of wild life in safari. He was very professional and did go along with all our wishes. Accomodation in Selius River Camp was excellent, as well was the food and service. Gecko Adventure is definitely reliable and trustful agency which I would recommend to others.

bad food, and not enough of it
We stayed at two safari places in Selous Game Reserve, Sable Lodge and Rufiji River Lodge, selected by Gecko. Sable had OK food, but small portions that left you hungry. Rufiji River Lodge had food that was not at all pleasant or appetizing -- you just ate a bare minimum to stave off hunger. At $300/pp/day, I expected better.
Also, the train trip to Selous was not pleasant. 3rd Class or whatever it was is a real surprise for Westerners. Nothing bad happened, but it felt on edge.
Other than these, Gecko did a fine job. I wouldn't use them again, though, I don't think.

The Best Ever!!!
From the very beginning of booking this safari with Rama I knew I had found a gem! All transfers, awesome accomodations, ridiculously wonderful food and our own private driver in the park, Antoine. He made our trip special and wonderful. He knew every square inch of Mukumi and all its treasures. This was so inexpensive and incredible.
I HIGHLY recommend this company and please stay in the Park. AMAZING!!!!!

Good service and great communication!
We spent 3 days in Mikumi. Great park and great lodge (another lodge than we reserved but great, too)... we saw lion cougars, giraffes, elefants and all kind of animals you expect. Driver very polite. Thank you!

The safari in selous and mikumi was great and our driver/guide Said was a very pleasent person and with a great knowledge of animals and birds. Everything worked out and we had a very good trip. Gecko adventure was very Quick to reply and being very helpful preparing our trip

We have spend a dream trip thanks gecko adventure and his planning which was perfect.
The service was perfect and for the "Selous" safari, we were alone in the Reserve. It's was very good to see animals and the lodge, a place of peace and beauty. You must take the plan to dar es sallam, it's fantastic.Zanzibar is a very nice place to relax. The planning has been respected and no problem of transport.
