Authentic safari with masai guide
5/5

The way to live an excepcional safari with a masai guide Who has shown us what Tanzania has to offer in all its splendor, while taking care of my family as if they were their own at all times. Our trip was with my parents, aged 84 and 78, my children, aged 12 and 15, along with a friend of mine and his 75-year-old mother. Thank you Fredi for all your help, and thank you to your brother Jeremiah for making us enjoy it so much! Until next time!

Authentic Breathless Savannah
5/5

The organization of the trip has been perfect since the booking time. Supportive anytime till the arrival and beyond.
They got since the beginning the experience we wanted to live.
Everything has been managed in the minimum detail, from the lodges to the tour and the guide.
5 full days of Safari around Tarangyre, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.
An optimal planning for a first time Safari.
If I may, in 5 days, I would probably do one day more in Serengeti, instead of Lake Manyara.
Serengeti is something difficult to describe by words. It is the MUST. Already missing it. The landscape continuously changing kilometer by kilometer is a dream. The quantity of animals spotted is something speechless.
The lodges they reserved for us were absolutely high level.
And our guide, Coka, so expert and professional: he has been able to make it the biggest dream realized in our life. An expert, polite and professional guide for this kind of experience is everything.
Wild of Magic, is really Magic
Thanks again for the incredible experience.

5 STAR 5 DAY HONEYMOON EXPERIENCE
5/5

I genuinely can’t put into words how incredible the Magic of Wild team were during our 5-day honeymoon safari in July.

As someone from the UK who had never been to Africa before, I was naturally nervous about booking and paying such a large amount upfront. We spent a long time researching different companies, reading reviews and comparing options, but there was still that uncertainty. Looking back now, booking with Magic of Wild was one of the best decisions we made for our honeymoon.

If anyone is reading this and has any reservations about booking – don’t. These guys are the real deal and they genuinely go above and beyond.

From the moment we landed, the experience was first class. They met us at the airport with a bouquet of flowers for Emma, personalised water bottles, and when we got to the safari vehicle it even had a personalised “Honeymooners” sign on the front. It was such a thoughtful touch and immediately set the tone for the trip.

Our guide, Kelvin, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, friendly, funny and genuinely passionate about what he does. We learnt so much throughout the safari, and nothing ever felt rushed. It’s also worth mentioning that the roads in Tanzania can be unbelievably rough, so you put a huge amount of trust in your driver. Kelvin was fantastic and always made the journey as comfortable and smooth as possible.

The little details throughout the trip really made it special. On our first day he surprised us by setting up a private dinner table in the middle of the national park, which was such an unforgettable experience. Every day we had great lunches, plenty of drinks and the vehicle’s mini bar was always fully stocked.

Then there’s the safari itself…

We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, and I honestly believe Kelvin went above and beyond to make sure we achieved it. His knowledge of the parks and wildlife was unbelievable, and thanks to him we had some incredibly close encounters that we’ll never forget.

Freddy also deserves a huge mention. He was brilliant from start to finish and made us feel completely looked after throughout the whole experience.

The reason this review is an easy five stars, though, goes beyond the safari itself. On our final day, before flying from Arusha to Zanzibar, I accidentally left my camera on the safari truck. As you can imagine, I completely panicked.

What happened next genuinely blew me away.

Freddy tracked the camera down, found someone who was flying to Zanzibar that same day, entrusted them with my camera, then organised a taxi driver to travel over an hour to personally deliver it to our hotel. The only thing I had to pay for was the taxi fare.

That level of customer service is incredibly rare, and it’s something I’ll never forget.

Magic of Wild should be incredibly proud of what they’ve built. They don’t just provide an amazing safari – they create memories that will stay with you forever.

If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania or the Serengeti, I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Thank you again to Freddy, Kelvin and the entire Magic of Wild team for making our honeymoon so unforgettable. We’ll be recommending you to everyone we know.

Magic Of Wild delivers a flawlessly organized, deeply personal, and unforgettable safari experience
5/5

This was my first safari, and the standard set by Magic Of Wild—and especially by Freddy—could not have been higher. Thanks to them, we were completely immersed in an extraordinary journey filled with new discoveries every single day.

It is difficult to praise the organization enough: the logistics were flawless, everyone was incredibly helpful, and Freddy’s explanations were always detailed, engaging, and insightful. I was travelling with my four-year-old son, and thanks to Freddy and the entire team, we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Even during the longer transfers, my son remained happy, enthusiastic, and excited about what was coming next.

From the organization and logistics to the wildlife encounters, accommodations, scenery, and overall experience, everything deserves five stars.

Our adventure began at Serval Wildlife, where we had the unique opportunity to observe and feed many of the animals we would later encounter during the safari. It was the perfect introduction to the journey ahead.

Early the following morning, we travelled to Tarangire National Park. Almost immediately, we encountered one of the Big Five: an elephant. Shortly afterwards, an entire herd crossed our path as they moved through the park. We also witnessed an eagle hunting at exactly the right moment. We were amazed and thought the experience could not possibly get any better. How naïve we were!

That evening, Freddy had arranged for us to stay at Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge, close to the Ngorongoro Crater. We woke up early the next morning and descended into the crater, where one unforgettable experience followed another. We first saw a lioness resting peacefully with her cubs, followed by hundreds of wildebeest and zebras.

The highlight of the day was watching a young male lion, still without a full mane, competing with a pack of hyenas over a meal while several vultures waited patiently nearby for their opportunity. It was a dramatic and extraordinary scene to witness.

We returned to the same lodge that evening. It was a wonderful place, and the schedule allowed us enough time to enjoy its beautiful facilities and spectacular surroundings.

The following day, we continued towards Serengeti National Park. The park welcomed us with an incredible surprise: shortly after crossing the entrance, we spotted several lions. One in particular displayed his magnificent mane as he drank calmly from a small pool of water. Throughout the day, we also saw hundreds of zebras, elephants, and giraffes.

That evening, we arrived at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti. What an extraordinary place to stay, surrounded by the immensity of the Serengeti.

The next morning began with a magical African sunrise. No photograph could ever do justice to its colours or to the emotions it inspired. At that moment, I felt incredibly small, yet somehow connected to something much greater.

But that was only the beginning of the day. We visited a hippopotamus pool, where we were fortunate enough to watch an enormous hippo walk down from a small hill and enter the water. At the same location, I spotted a pair of red-billed hornbills, which made me feel as though I had stepped directly into *The Lion King*.

Still, that was not enough for Freddy. Thanks to his experience and determination, we were able to see a cheetah only a few metres away from us. What a graceful, slender, and magnificent animal.

We returned to the hotel to enjoy its facilities, and I must make a special mention of the Kids Club. My son absolutely loved it, and the women looking after the children were truly wonderful.

The following day, we travelled towards northern Serengeti in search of the Great Migration. Once again, Freddy brought us incredible luck. Only around ten minutes before we parked, the first wildebeest entered the water. Soon afterwards, an enormous group of wildebeest, accompanied by zebras, began crossing the river in search of fresh grass.

That night, we stayed at the Serengeti Ark, which offered a unique and breathtaking view over the Serengeti.

I thought our wildlife adventure had come to an end, as the following morning we were due to fly back to Arusha before continuing to Zanzibar. However, even on the drive to the airstrip, the Serengeti had one final surprise waiting for us: four crocodiles, each seemingly larger than the previous one, resting beside the remains of their latest meal.

Throughout the entire journey, Freddy was attentive, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely committed to making our safari unforgettable. He was excellent with my young son and always made sure that everyone felt comfortable, safe, and involved in the experience.

This was far more than a holiday. It was a journey that my family and I will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you to Freddy and the entire Magic Of Wild team for creating such an extraordinary experience.

Great experience for our first safari
5/5

Our safari with Magic of Wild exceeded all our expectations. From the very beginning, everything was organized professionally and communication was always prompt and helpful.

Our guide Kevin was very good—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we saw an incredible variety of animals, including the Big Five, and learned so much about Tanzania’s nature and culture along the way.

The itinerary was perfectly planned, the accommodations were excellent, and every transfer was seamless. We always felt safe, well looked after, and able to simply enjoy the experience.

If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused safari company, we highly recommend Magic of Wild. Thank you for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!

Perfect from start to end.
5/5

Found fredy online and was a bit skeptical at first, given i was going for a very special trip to celebrate my fathers 73rd birthday. However, given he is a relatively new independent operator, he went above and beyond to stand out from start to end.

He was excellent at communicating at answering my bootload of questions for a full month before I got to booking. He helped me inquire with checked several hotels very patiently. The pricing was also the lowest (for the exact same itenirary and hotels) after comparing 7-8 different operators.

Lastly, our guide Kelvin was very very nice - constantly going the extra mile and suggesting longer routes to make sure we see all big 5 in just 2 days of safari - which we did! He followed all the rules, was informative without being extra.. and made the whole trip very comfortable for my older parents.

Would easily recommend this company to anyone!

No way to arrange it better
5/5

In addition to everything being perfectly organised, the guide who accompanied us all the tour long, was most helpful, always ready to
please, inform and attend any possible need. Very friendly. He transmitted to us so much about the local culture, animal life, and the overall environment. Lodging choices were just perfect and really worth their value. Cars were comfortable, tidy and clean
