Trustworthy and reliable !
We had a wonderful and unforgettable journey with Nextgen Safari. On the first day, we were picked up from Entebbe Airport in the evening. The next day, they took us to Shoebill Trekking and then to Ziwa Rhino Trekking in the afternoon. On the third day, we drove early in the morning to Kibale and went for Chimpanzee Trekking in the afternoon. On the fourth day, we drove all day from Uganda to near Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park to check in. On the fifth day, we went for Gorilla Trekking at the Volcanoes National Park; after that, they dropped us off at a hotel in Kigali, concluding the ground handling service.
The entire process went very smoothly. Communication with Benald was also very smooth during the pre-trip period—he was incredibly patient and answered all my questions promptly. This gave us great peace of mind to entrust this journey to Nextgen Safari. The driver assigned, Renatus, was very shy and quiet but an excellent driver—definitely worth recommending!!!!

One of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had.
Our guide Renautuas gave us a very warm welcome right at the airport and picked us up personally. From the very beginning, he took wonderful care of us and always made us feel comfortable and safe. Everything was perfectly organized and ran smoothly. The accommodation was great, the food was excellent, and the tour itself was an absolutely incredible experience – truly unforgettable. I can highly recommend it and I’m very grateful for this amazing experience.

From pre-booking through the trip itself, a very positive experience.
With so many tour operators to choose from, it was important for us to find one that would accommodate our tight schedule and include the specific activities we were interested in (chimp/gorilla trekking, safari, rural Ugandan countryside).
From the outset, NextGen Safaris proved to be a really good company. Communication and responsiveness were key and, from the very early stages, we were pleased.
After a very long travel day (and a half), including a missed connection, our tour guide Victor was waiting for us at the airport, took our bags and immediately made us comfortable. His commitment and reliability were clear from that first moment, and he was critical to our ability to get the most out of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Not only did Victor get us where we needed to go, but he engaged with us, learned about our interests and made adjustments to try to ensure that we got to see and do things that weren't part of the initial plan. For example, he managed to get us to a couple of different food markets and to visit a local village and school.
After an incredible week, we were emotional leaving and sorry to say goodbye to Victor. We felt very fortunate to have him as our tour guide. Victor was insightful, personable and professional. He took care of us and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and getting the most out of our days. He is a kind and bright young man whom we think of often and miss.
Thank you Victor and NextGen Safaris. We honestly and happily would recommend your company.

Couldn't Have Asked for a Better Experience!
I had a really great experience with NextGen Safaris from the very beginning. When I first started planning the trip, their office team was super responsive and easy to work with. They helped shape the itinerary around what I wanted, answered all my questions, and were friendly, clear, and prompt, even with the time difference.
At one point my travel plans got thrown off because of issues in the Middle East, and they didn’t miss a beat. They adjusted everything quickly and even helped arrange a place for me to stay and extra night in Kigali last minute. That kind of support made a big difference.
The real highlight of the trip, though, was my guide, Renatus. I spent six days with him, which is a long time to be with anyone, and he was consistently fantastic the entire trip. Just a really good person to spend that kind of time with. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and always paying attention to what I might need next without me having to ask.
I came for the gorillas, which were incredible, but he added so much more to the experience. He introduced me to people along the way, shared stories, and really helped me connect with Uganda in a way I wasn’t expecting. I left with a genuine love for the country and the people. He even made a point to take photos for me along the way, too, which I really appreciated and will always have.
Also worth mentioning, he’s a very skilled and safe driver. The roads can be rough, especially in the rainy season, and I always felt completely comfortable.
At one point I mentioned I wanted to find quilting fabric (odd request on a gorilla trek) and he immediately knew where to go. My quilter friend will be so pleased!
I traveled solo, and as a woman that always comes with some level of awareness, but I felt safe the entire time. I never once felt uneasy. He had everything handled.
I’d absolutely recommend NextGen Safaris, and if you can request Renatus, do it. He really made the trip special.
