Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Rodney (UK citizen)

Great time with the highlight of a confrontation between buffaloes and lions. Spotting rhinos, and a caracal too, apart from the big animals.
Though the big amount of wildebeests, gazelles and zebras was not there as the rains had not reached the crater... just beginning. Though lots of predators...

Perfect time his year for wildlife

We were lucky to see the big migration who came from Masai Mara, already half way down the Serengeti park.
Lots of wildlife, mating birds, and the big 5.

We visited South Africa as a family trip and are now scheming how to make it an annual event that all in the family can attend. A trip intended to expose my mom and my oldest two nephews to international travel and it was an absolute success. PaperJet Travel and Justin Perumal made our trip everything that we could have ever imagined...and more!! They organized our safari at Kruger which was an amazing time of bonding as we learned new animals and birds, tracked the Big 5 (all of which we saw at least twice), and were surrounded by here’s of buffalos and elephants. Seeing the animals in their natural habitat was breathtaking. Marka, our guide at MalaMala Game Reserve, was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to find every animal we desired to see and to ensure that we fully enjoyed our time. We also spent time in Cape Town and Johannesburg where the people are ridiculously loving and absolutely amazing. The hotels we stayed in were more than accommodating and the staff ensures that we enjoyed our stay by going above and beyond their duties. South Africa is a beautiful place, full of culture and beauty that everyone should experience at least once.

About: Kenya
So much to see
Overall rating
5/5

This was my third trip to Kenya and it seems to get better every time! We went to four different parks/reserves (Samburu, Maasai Mara, Aberdares (moorlands), and Lake Nakuru.) All were very different. Samburu was the most intimate, with abundant game and fascinating landscape (I'd stay at the Samburu Intrepids again in a heartbeat!). Maasai Mara is so very spectacular (wildebeest migration season), with countless animals in every direction. Entim Camp was perfectly positioned and had great service. In the Aberdares, we stayed in the Kenya Wildlife Service 'lodge' -- a unique spot in the high moorlands (quiet, solitary, a world away). Our final stop was Lake Nakuru where we finally saw rhinos.

About: Namibia
spectacular scenery, but not a soft option safari
Overall rating
4/5

We saw a wide variety of wildlife, including rare black rhino and desert adapted elephant and giraffe. The scenery was beautiful, in a rugged, harsh way. The dunes at Sossusvlei are a highlight.
Travelling for hours on dirt roads can be tiring. The vehicle was substandard, as the air conditioning didn't work. This is such a vast country that it might be worth considering a fly-in safari to cut down time on the road. Some lodges and hotels were good, but the camping options were not "glamping". These are not like tented camps in other parts of Africa, such as Botswana - a bit more rustic.

Frienship with Rhinos
5/5

I don't have too much to say. The walking rhino safari exceeded all my expectations and it was an unforgetable experience. The citytour in Livingstone and the visit to the Chief Mukuni Village were also very interesting thanks to the high professionalism and friendliness of our guide Joseph

Fun and reliable
5/5

Our experience with the Chobe safari was excellent. Our guide went out of his way to find all of the animals that we should see in Chobe. We had a hard time finding the baboons, but our guide did not give up and at the end of our safari we found many baboons. There were moms and babies, baboons in trees, by the water, and all over. We saw lions, giraffes, eagles, hippos, antelope, and many other things. We also did the photo tour on the boat at sunset. The highlight was watching the elephants cross the river to an island in the middle. All in all our trip was great and memorable.

Capetown to Vic falls
4/5

This truly was an adventure made all the better by our excellent guide Misheck, truely a gem.
From day one we were constantly kept informed about history, the area we were in and the game we would be experiencing along the way.
This was made all the more interesting buy our guides passion for Africa and for making sure our needs were catered for.
The accomodation was in the main very good with some truly special places that were a total surprise and of course the food was great.
Our only concern was that the truck had no air con but is that just being a soft westerner? I guess that just added to the whole Kiboko, Africa experience.
In summary this was a well planned trip and we believe gave us the best possible exposure over a big distance in the time available, we had a blast and would certainly recommend this as a great intro to Africa.,

Great Safari experience
5/5

My fiancee and I used African Coast Travel & Tours for a 6 days Safari in Vic Falls and Botswana. Joseph (out tour guide) was really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. With his knowledge of the area, we were able to get a free updrade in Vic Fall for our hotel and were able to book extra activities without any problem.

All the guides in the Safari were knowledgeable and gave us a lot of explanations on the animals and plants we saw. Plus, in Hwange, the guide was able to track a lion only with the paw prints on the ground (This was really nice to track the animal to see them).

The accommodations, food and activities were as described and we really enjoy it. I strongly recommend this Safari and this tour company
