Everything you could hope for!
5/5

We recently went on a 3-week self-drive tour that was completely organized by Nature Travel Namibia. They booked us a 4x4 rental car with rooftop tents as well as all of our accommodations and some of the activities. Everything was organized exactly as we wanted, and we had no unpleasant surprises during our trip. Just the holiday you would hope for, nice and relaxing but also full of wonderful activities to enjoy the wildlife and landscapes to the fullest. Communication with Nature Travel prior to the trip all went very smooth, they are very friendly and helpful and always eager to assist you in any way possible. The tour itself was wonderful, we absolutely loved Namibia and will certainly be coming back! We will definitely book via Nature Travel again, so highly recommendable!

The trip planners did an outstanding work designing our trip based on our expectations. Their recommendations for accommodation and location were fabulous and exceptional. The tour company was a pleasure to work with and they carefully listened to what we wanted. We toured a variety of destinations, all fantastic. The yummy food, great people, super natural sceneries, cultural traditions were all waoooo! We would highly recommend Maraka Tours and Safaris (Uganda).

Beyond expectations
5/5

The service we received from the time we signed up with Go Touch Down was excellent The customer service was impeccable. Everyone was so helpful in the planning and booking of our trip.

The accommodations, tours and safari drives were everything we could ask for and more. Our guides were extraordinary -- knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly, going above and beyond on many occasions. The food was excellent.

We were a bit hesitant when Pilanesberg National Park replaced Kruger Park but it was an incredible place. We opted to take the drive in the open air vehicle rather than the van. I would suggest this to anyone. We were very fortunate to see some pretty amazing sites. The restaurant within the park that we stopped at for lunch was excellent and I would highly recommend the ostrich burger. The restaurant overlooked a watering hole and we viewed giraffe and hippos there as we ate lunch.

Go Touch Down found us the Pangolin Lodge in Botswana to extend our vacation for an additional few days. Everything about it was incredible – from the lodge décor, the rooms, the grounds and food to the photography safaris -- both on the river and in the Chobe park. They provided professional photo equipment and instruction.

This was definitely the vacation of a lifetime and we certainly hope to return one day. Thank you to everyone at Go Touch Down for making our trip so amazing.

About: Kenya
Best place for safari is east africa including Kenya
Overall rating
5/5

We visited several African countries and Kenya is one of the best. It beats southern africa with its wildlife, pop-up style vehicles, food and lodges. The Indian vegetarian jnfluence, Belgian and French influence from neighboring countries provides much better food than the souther African British and Dutch style of food. It is easier to fly to and cheaper from US and Europe.

A bucket list experience enhanced by the exceptional field (and office) personnel.
5/5

From Samantha's setup online to the exceptional field safari crew of Moola, Douglas, Bafani, and Keokeditswe (aka K. K.), Wilderness dawning hits a home run for tenting immersion safari. We did Okavango and Chobe areas ending in Livingstone Zambia. Although at my age tenting and cots is roughing it a bit, the crew made the experience as comfortable and exciting as possible. They also offer lodges and a houseboat experience with a little more comfort provided. The knowledge of our born and raised Botswana guide KK was unquestionable. We experienced every animal to be expected in the region, except for the elusive Cheeta. KK was even able to seek out a pair of newborn Lion kittens w. mom, hiding out under a dense thorn bush. The camp crew provided some of the best open fire cooking I have ever experienced. The fresh baked bread and cakes, and various cuisines were fantastic! Leopards (6), a pride of 24 lions, as well as many lesser groups or singles, hundreds of elephants, thousands of water buffalo and Impalla, water buck, Kudus, mongoose of several species, Ostrich, Hyena, wild dog packs, hundreds of colourful birds and Giraffes, Hippos, Crocs, Warthogs and much much more! The timing in October seemed good as well, with an extended dry season, verging on drought, just before the rains are to come. If I had any one thing to make issue with (small potatoes!), it would be the sticky zippers on the tents.
