Had a great 5 day safari with Hyrax - Philip, our driver guide, was absolutely brilliant - funny, kind, knowledgeable and an incredible driver! But also very responsible - we saw some drivers go way too close to animals and scare them; he never did that. Definitely worth paying for a jeep rather than a van - they handle the roads much better. Irene, in the office, was also great. I had to postpone my trip because I injured myself, and she held my deposit and remembered me when I finally arrived. Bearing in mind that to enter Maasai Mara is $200 a day, this safari is excellent value. MM, Nakuru and Naivasha are all nicely different - definitely worth hiring bikes and going down the gorge at Hells Gate.

Daniel, Fantastic Guide in Lalibela, Trip Coordinator
Daniel recently showed me around Lalibela for 3 days and was a wonderful guide! He was really considerate and adjusted the schedule to do things that I was interested in. Daniel's father was a priest so he has a lot of special insights into the churches and culture. Having homemade lunch with his family was a true highlight. He was very respectful, and which was important to me as a solo female traveller. Daniel also helped me plan a trip to Harar and Arba Minch (Konso & Dorze) and coordinated fantastic local guides in each place. All arranged by WhatsApp and email in advance. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing experience
The team of guides, chefs and porters were amazing! Innocent and Freddie had so much knowledge about everything regarding Kilimanjaro, it was super interesting to hear all the facts,
The chef was amazing I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they still managed to make me good, tasty, and filling food to make it to the summit
Everything was super organised for us with every step from arriving to leaving I highly recommend this company and would use them again if I come back to Tanzania for any other excursions
Overall an amazing experience and I am super thankful to have a team as good as we did
Also I do recommend hiring a toilet, as the cold nights you don’t want a long walk to the toilets

Lucas and his team have prepared the perfect safari. The organization and service worked flawlessly.
Lucas organised an individual perfect safari for 11 nights in Botswana and 2 nights in Zimbabwe.Everything worked from the pick up at Maun airport to the farewell at Victoria Falls airport. Also his team was well prepared, everything worked properly. The chef did incredible things. Overall, the safari was a great success and we can recommend it to everyone.

Unforgettable ride through in Kenya
We booked our safari trip on Safari bookings right after some email to better understand the program. The Jocky teams was really kind and fast in answering all of our questions. The program was exactly what they’ve promised us. Our games Safari in Masai Mara were just amazing, our driver Johnny gave us the best chance to see all the animals, and we saw all the “big five” in just one afternoon. The service was precise and on time so we could enjoyed our safari without any issues. We strongly recommend to visit Cresent Island and make the hippo boat. We wanna thank Jocky Tours to gave us such incredible memories.
