Crosstoafricasafaris an excellent & reliable tour company we did in Tanzania
5/5

Cross to Africa Safaris is an excellent tour company/operator in Tanzania. I can highly vouch for their professionalism with our experience with them from day 1 we started touring with them . Their guide, Tony’s an excellent tour guide & driver. He even went far & beyond his duty to look after us, after our unfortunate Safari experience in Kenya by this fraud tour company by the name of Solaris Tours & Safaris. Tony, our guide made sure we enjoy & experience what a true meaning of Safari is & we were not disappointed because we saw lots & more in Tanzania. I’d like to take this opportunity to say “thank you” to Cross to Africa Safaris. We give credit where credit is due & all your assistance very much appreciated by all 6 of us from Australia. We highly recommend your tour company to all of our friends as well. Thanks to Jackeline for your help & more importantly to one of your excellent guides by the name of “Tony”.

Amazing to see all those elephants located at the same place. We saw two groups of elephants with more than 15 individuals. Truly amazing.

This was by far the best safari destination of the three we visited. Fascinating to see all those animals in the crate and such a beautiful scenic.

Wildlife was maybe a bit too used to humans to feel "natural" but the benefit is that you can see lots of animals from very close. We often had elephants or even lions surround our car! Our safari guide, found on Safaribookings was really a small business owner working really hard to make it, and in addition to being a great tracker was also able to share with us over the dinner table a lot of his knowledge of the Bushmen tribe and other elements of history and of the local culture. My advice is to take a chance by going for a safari in a small group and with a small operator, even if they have few reviews. You may be in for a unique experience and meet extraordinary local guides.

BIG FIVE

5/5

My second trip to Kenya and I have always found the people working on Safari to be excellent guides and respectful, helpful people. I do not like visiting the villages because pressure is always too much-in fact one of the guests almost caused a fight with a warrior over not buying anything. I like the camps where wildlife is abundant in and around the camps. Some camps are too sterile --meaning they are fenced and nothing can get in, no monkeys, no antelopes...My favorite camp so far of the 7 we have stayed would still be Samburu Intrepids in 2012. That camp will always be what Africa means to me. The Masai Mara was not as many animals as the Serengeti or the Crater -sometimes we would spend hours upon hours just driving the sea of grass encountering nothing. Amboseli was the best for elephants and i encountered some of the largest elephants i have ever seen there. my favorite 2018 camp was Lake Naivasha Sopa-with zebras waterbuck hippos and giraffes and also vervet and colobus monkeys all on the lodge property.

We took the 4 day selous game reserve safari and could not have been more pleased! Our guide Appolo was fantastic!! All of the accommodations were wonderful and the food was great!! The staff at all the lodges went out of their way to make sure you were taken care of!! We were able to see all kinds of wildlife! (Got within 10 ft of a pair of lions)!! We were never rushed and our guide did all he could to get us good pictures. The weather was perfect!! From the first email to get things started till we were dropped back off at our hotel everyone was helpful and the experience was great!!! I would not hesitate to take this safari again!!

First of all we would like to thank our guide and chef, Livingston and Sweetbart, for been a great guide and a great chef. Second we were amazed by the nature and wildlife in Tanzania. We saw four of the great five, but we were truly amazed by the magnificent wildlife that Tanzania has to offer.

A big shout out to Nothern Circuit Adventure, and Mike, for arranging a great safari trip for us. Thanks!

Amazing experience.
5/5

We had a wonderful trip. I've lived in Tanzania for 20 years and have done a lot of travelling there, but this was my first time on safari in Kenya. The wildlife was amazing, we saw the big five and tons and tons of lions. The weather wasn't the greatest, but it was still a great trip. Our driver, Richard, was great, and we helped many other people who got stuck in the mud. Food was much better than expected. The tented accommodation was basic, but the other hotels were much better than expected. My only complaint was that we did not have hot water anywhere. They said they had it, but it never worked. We visited Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Hell's Gate. All of them were great in their own way. We paid an extra $5 per person to rent bikes in Hell's Gate, and it was a special experience cycling through a park. The walk through the gorge was also worth it. These were the only things we paid extra for, everything else was included, and the price was extremely fair. The trip was definitely beyond my expectations.

Highly Recommend Godson Adventures
5/5

I recently visited Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro. I had not planned to Safari but, after seeing friends’ photos, decided to try to book one. As it was last minute, I was not able to join friends on their safari. Instead, a friend of a friend recommend Godson Adventures at from the first contact thru the safari to the drop off at the airport, I was extremely pleased with the Godson’s responsiveness, service, great attitude, and customer orientation. Another friend and I worked with Godson to build a customized 3-night, 4-day safari visiting Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, and Ngorongoro Crater. Godson built a great adventure with comfortable camping in beautiful locations with great food. Godson Adventures was always timely and supportive. Thanks to Lead Guide and Owner Godson’s expertise we were able to see more wildlife than I ever anticipated.

Animals seen on safari:

Rhino, elephant, lion, water buffalo, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal, hippo, crocodile, Thompson Gazelle, Grant Gazelle, impala, baboon, countless monkeys, heartbeast, did-dik, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, too
many birds to name, zero snakes....

The safari included tasty, creative and healthy meals. Godson was an impeccably professional and friendly guide. Godson answered questions by text very responsibly and even proactively provided multiple pick up and drop off services for us that we did not expect from the guide. Prices were an excellent value for what we received. I could not recommend a safari with Godson Adventures any more highly. I plan to return to show my wife the magic of Tanzania. The smiles on our faces make our satisfaction as clear as the photos of the encounters with wildlife.
