Excellent experience!
5/5

I was in contact with Patti, who was very helpful and prompt in her responses to my requests and she was able to tailor my itinerary, while also offering additional alternatives. I traveled solo and stayed three nights at Tremisana Lodge and the rooms were clean, spacious, and there was actually hot water, and the food was great. I've been on plenty of safaris and I'm fairly simple when it comes to amenities, but there were more than enough at Tremisana Lodge. Maybe the wi-fi could have been a bit more reliable, but then again I wasn't there for that in the first place, so it was a plus it was available at all.

I can't say enough about all of the staff, they were all very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. From the chefs, to the guides, and lodge staff (Rex, Eva, Robin, Elias, Pretty, and anyone else I may have missed, a big thank you! You all made my experience an incredible one!) Each guide worked very hard to find a wide array of wildlife, so that was much appreciated. Although, I have been to South Africa before, it was my first time to Kruger National Park and the surrounding areas.

For reference, I did the four day safari and my itinerary included game drives, a bush walk, and bush braai in Balule Game Reserve, with one full day in Kruger National Park, which is open-attached to Balule, so the animals can roam freely between each. We were able to find lions (lioness & cubs), black/white rhino, zebra, giraffe, hippo, hyena, waterbuck, jackal, cape buffalo, wildebeest, elephants, and even a verreaux's eagle owl (very rare), to name a few. All in all, the experience was just what I was looking for, time out and away from the daily grind while also enjoying the beautiful landscape and it did not disappoint.

In addition, Viva Safaris pick up and drop off in Jo'burg so that was a huge perk. On my return to Jo'Burg, my itinerary included a short stop-off at Blyde River Canyon, which was absolutely amazing! The views were incredible and definitely capped off a great trip to ZAR.

Again, I just want to send a warm thank you to all of the staff and guides who made my stay an incredible one!
I appreciate your hospitality, flexibility, and hard work to provide a great experience during my stay and I would highly recommend Viva Safaris.

Hope to see you again soon!

Wild at Heart Journeys offers a personalized Safari experience that I could find no where else!
5/5

I have been on two different Safari Trips with Wild at Heart Journeys and I couldn't recommend them more. Robin puts together incredible, personalized, experiences not just itineraries. She has many connections in Africa which allows access to places and experiences tourists don't usually get to see. Her trips greatly exceeded every expectation that I had (and I am very picky)!!

Friendly and professional
5/5

I did a 2 day safari trip to Mikumi National Park from Dar es Salaam. The communication was great. Mwajabu was very nice and helpful and replied quickly with all the information to all my messages. She came to meet me in person in Dar es Salaam before the tour and that really helped to get more idea about what the safari would look like. Her brother who drove me to Mikumi was also very friendly. The camp they had booked me at was beautiful and comfortable. The safari itself was a really nice experience, from driving through the beautiful landscape to watching the animals. I would thoroughly recommend Hello Tanzania.

8 days in Namibia
5/5

Our adventure in Namibia was facilitated by Naturetravel Namibia. What an amazing country . Esmari planned our itinerary to give us an overview of the highest sand dunes in the world, cities surrounded by desert, ancient rock engravings and Etosha National Park for an amazing opportunity to see the animals. We opted to do a driving tour with a private driver/guide and we're extremely fortunate to have had Rodger spend 8 days with us. His knowledge of politics, animals, history, plants, geology and customs kept us alert and learning through out the trip. Some of the long drives seems a lot shorter due to lively informative discussions we shared along the way. We feel like we have a new friend in Namibia!
We did a counter clockwise loop through the country starting in Windhoek. We posed in front of 600 year old dead trees trapped in the dunes, hiked back into off road ponds of flamingos, watched thousands of seals frolicking in the ocean and nursing babies on the beach, were awed by Namibian nights skies, all the time knowing Rodger was taking care of details.
Thank you Esmari and Rodger for sharing Namibia with us!

Best mix of safari and culture in Kenya.
5/5

We always wanted to go on a safari and after reading a lot on the internet we found Deep Forest Safaris and decided to give Samuel a call. Samuel did a great job in planning our safari in Kenya. Working under both time and budget constraints he still made it possible for us to go on a private safari and made sure all our expectations were met and beyond.

Arriving in Kenya we were welcomed by the Deep Forest Safaris team and our guide for the whole stay. From an instant we both felt welcome and comfortable. Sammy, who was our guide and driver throughout the whole stay in Kenya made sure everything was running smooth and gave us experiences of a lifetime. He was very knowledgeable and told us stories about both the culture and the animals we saw whilst on safari.

Samuel and Sammy took pride in making sure we got the best experience and in that they definitely succeeded. We wouldn't hesitate calling Samuel and Deep Forest Safaris again!

Best of experience with Parakuyo Tours & Safaris
5/5

I would love to recommend Parakuyo Tours & Safaris team for excellent service and incredible experience we've had with them. I've met Meleck John for the 1st time in 2004 while travelling to Arusha for my very 1st safari experience and then again in 2013 on my second visit. On my first visit in 2004, I was with 2 friends from France and we did not have anything booked in advance. We opted to ask around for a private guide and Meleck John got recommended to us. We went with him on a 1 day safari tour at Ngorongoro national park and it turned out to be an amazing experience. John is very honest, funny, friendly and extremely patient person. He is very knowlegeable and very generous sharing his culture and land.We learnt a lot about different landscapes, customs, animals and tribes. He is excellent at spotting animals and always ensured that we saw all different species. I remember that we even managed to see lions on our 1 day visit which is not always gained in advance and it was impressive. We felt very safe in his company and had great fun - Since then me and my friends have been recommending Meleck and his company to all our friends who go to Tanzania for a Safari-tour experience and they all come back thrilled with the experience and amazing service received from Meleck and his team.
I would highly recommend Parakuyo Tours and Safari for high quality service, great fun & unforgettable lifetime memory in one of the most beautiful countries in East Africa. You won't find a such honest & professional team anywhere else in Tanzania!!!

Thanks again Meleck for one of the very best experiences of my life. I will for sure come back again :)

A memorable trip arranged by Safari Specialists
5/5

Safari Specialists was a fantastic choice! They were responsive to my interests and budget, and I appreciated their honesty about what I could expect to see in the month of March in Botswana (wet season). My agent put a lot of time into booking the itinerary that best suited by schedule and wildlife interests. This company also gave me one of the best quotes, compared to larger companies like Wilderness and &Beyond. My 5-day safari was a magical experience, and I highly recommend Safari Specialists!

Grand tour of Namibia
5/5

The tour you put together for us was undoubtedly one of the best touring holidays we have ever had'

Namibia is a fascinating country of so many contrasts, and stunning scenery. Having lived in South Africa for so many years, and understanding weather and drought conditions, it was wonderful to see the country looking so green and lush, and even a river or two with water in them! We also understand why there was so remarkably little game to be seen in the Etosha. (A first time visitor wanting to see game would have been very disappointed) But we also knew when we booked it was not the prime time of year to be coming. I was not convinced about doing the 'Living Desert Tour' but it was the most fascinating and informative morning!

Jakes was in all respects a marvellous guide, safe driver, and so attentive and considerate of all our needs before we even realised we had any. He is passionate about the country, and with his farming background, so knowledgeable and interested in all aspects of ecology, flora and fauna. He is a very interesting dinner conversationalist; we have an insatiable curiosity about countries we visit, not just what we are looking at, but also about the people and their thoughts, politics and attitudes and history.

Thank you for changing the Hilton Hotel for us - I know I said a city hotel, but the Belvedere was in all respects far more comfortable.
All the hotels and lodges you booked for us were excellent, rooms comfortable, food good and all situated in amazing environments.

We would totally recommend your organisational skills and itinerary recommendations to anyone.
