He was equally knowledgeable about the flora and fauna as he was fun to spend hours looking at it.
In 2010, I had the incredible experience of embarking on a safari adventure with Mzilikazi Way Safaris in Botswana, and it remains one of my most cherished travel memories. This safari offered an unparalleled blend of thrilling wildlife encounters, breathtaking landscapes, and exceptional service.
Wildlife Encounters
From the moment we set out, it was clear that this was going to be a safari like no other. We had the extraordinary fortune of seeing majestic lions, towering elephants, and playful hippos in their natural habitats. One particularly exhilarating moment was driving through a river so deep that it covered the hood of our vehicle, a true testament to the ruggedness of our adventure.
Evenings brought their own magic as we gathered around the firepit. The glowing eyes of hyenas surrounding our camp added a thrilling touch of the wild to our nights. And of course, who could forget the mischievous monkey that brazenly stole a banana right from our campsite? These encounters were not only thrilling but also offered a deep connection to the untamed beauty of Botswana.
Exceptional Guiding
Our safari was significantly enriched by our guide, Okaile Vincent Mguni. His extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna was impressive, and he shared insights with an infectious enthusiasm that made each outing both educational and fun. Okaile’s ability to track animals, identify plants, and explain ecological relationships transformed our safari into a deeply immersive experience. His warm personality and humorous anecdotes kept our spirits high and made our time in the wilderness incredibly enjoyable.
Overall Experience
Mzilikazi Way Safaris delivered a top-notch adventure that blended excitement with education. The seamless organization of the trip, the quality of the equipment, and the dedication of the staff ensured that we could fully immerse ourselves in the experience without any concerns. The memories of driving through river waters, witnessing the grandeur of African wildlife, and sharing stories around the campfire under the vast starry sky are ones I will treasure forever.
In summary, Mzilikazi Way Safaris provided an extraordinary safari that exceeded all expectations. The combination of awe-inspiring wildlife sightings, heart-pounding adventures, and exceptional guiding by Okaile Vincent Mguni makes this company a top choice for anyone seeking an unforgettable safari experience in Botswana. If you’re looking to create lifelong memories and experience the true essence of the African wilderness, Mzilikazi Way Safaris is the way to go.

White Plains Safaris offers superb, respectful, relaxed experience
White Plains Safaris took us on an unforgettable safari to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli. The trip was meticulously planned with a nice choice of a variety of places to stay, while also being able to accommodate some flexibility. The experience is hard to put in words, the kindness of het people, the grace and symbiose of different animals, the colours, the overnight stays and sunsets/sunrises in the wild, the spectaculair views. Furthermore we lucky to witness the amazing trek of wildebeests at Mara River.
What I liked in particular is that White Plains Safaris stood out in being respectful, not letting themselves be driven by hitlist/tick-off sheet of the Big5, but the overall experience, took time to tell us about the birdlife and the responsible approach to nature, animal life, the people and the team in its hands.
A huge thank you to the entire team at White Plains Safaris, we wholeheartedly recommend them to all our friends, colleagues and everybody else!

Self drive Namibia
We were met by Lilly (Great Explorations Namibia) at Namibiatogo where we picked up our 4X4. She warmly welcomed us to Namibia. She gave us much needed coffee and then presented us with our itinerary, map as well as a booklet with complete instructions for us to follow from day to day. Included was a note about where and when we would need snacks, gas, how long it should take to drive from place to place, how far each day's drive would be with the instructions on which road to take, where to turn and a detailed map of the area. Basically her booklet answered all our questions.....and was referred to each day throughout our drive. The route was interesting and chosen with care. The places we stayed were clean, usually resorts that offered sunset drives, morning and afternoon drives. Usually we had ample time to see things. On our drives there was time to stop and explore. We did not feel rushed.
Lilly is very organized. We had no problems finding the driver sent to pick us up at the airport. He was welcoming, pleasant and showed us giraffes trying to hide behind trees they were nibbling, explained what we were seeing and answered questions. Returning our car was easy at Namibiatogo. And we were transferred back to the airport at the end of our trip with ample time for our return flight home.
Would we go again? In a heartbeat! And we would use both Great Explorations Namibia and Namibiatogo.

Brilliant!
If you’re thinking about a Zimbabwe self drive adventure this is the company to contact. Ant is very communicative, helpful and has lots of good advice and local knowledge. The vehicle was ideal for the self drive safari, well equipped with everything you need, and the handover with Kosta was informative and useful. We loved our time in Zim, people are really friendly, roads are challenging, scenery and animals amazing and Kariba ferry great fun with a swim stop mid lake! Wished we could have stayed longer…

INCREDIBLE!!
Please feel completely confident in the leadership and direction of Filipa M., Personal Journey Designer at Spirit of Kenya. I presented many challenges to her regarding changes in dates and experiences, including a medical emergency whereby I needed to reschedule everything AGAIN. Filipa was always, kind, thorough, patient, encouraging, caring and completely efficient with it all. Every last detail was designed with precision! I highly recommend Filipa and Spirit of Kenya for your safari planning!!

Amazing country with lots of different qualities
We spent time in Cape Town, which is a beautiful city. It has its poorer side, as do all major cities, but is an amazing place to visit. The culture, Table Mountain and the waterfront are some of the highlights. Langa township is well worth a visit.
We then spent 4 days in the Kruger National Park and saw most of the wild animals that we wanted to see. Only the leopard remained illusive. Lots of lions with cubs, elephants, rhino's, giraffes and zebra to name a few. An amazing experience. Totally recommended.
South Africa is an amazing country.

Andrew Sinclair was excellent, and also helped me out of a tricky situation in the Kruger N P.
I visited three safari Lodges in Zambia. Anabezi Lodge Lower Zambezi, and Luangwa River Camp and Kafunta in the South Luangwa Game Reserve. Had to cancel the Kruger Park section. The game viewing was exceptional. The accommodation was great and so was the food. The guiding was brilliant. Previously, most of my safaris were done with family. You can not beat having a knowledgeable guide, who knew what to look for. The rhino was the only one off the big 5 I did not see. However, going to Kruger would’ve solved the rhino problem. At Anabezi, I saw wild dogs for the first time ever, plus an actual kudu chase and kill they had made. Also, did a days tiger fishing on the Zambezi River.
There was an abundance off all animals, lions, leopards, hippos and buck etc. Value for money was better than expected. On top off all the game viewing, I was given a partial refund for the cancelled Kruger section to be used on a future safari trip. Hope to do this later. I can not recommend Safari365 more highly. They went well above what I was hoping for. Andrew, my contact, did a magnificent job. Well done Safari365.
